Swamp Judges Arrested for Aiding Criminal Illegal Aliens

Leftist judges are not only blocking Trump’s efforts to throw the illegal aliens out of the country via their rulings, but some are also actively helping the border-crashers outside the court to escape deportations. The Trump administration seems to be toughening up its stance on the issue by acting against these activist judges. The past week, two such arrests were made in rather quick succession.

The first such case, one that attracted significant media coverage, is the arrest of the New Mexico Judge Joel Cano. On Thursday (April 24), federal agents with the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested Judge Cano and his wife at their Las Cruces home. The couple had been harboring an illegal alien, Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, as their personal employee. Ortega-Lopez is reportedly linked to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

After Ortega-Lopez was arrested by federal agents at the Cano residence at the end of February, Judge Cano resigned from his office within days. Investigations since then have found that Cano and his wife have also hosted two other people linked to Tren de Aragua gang. The New Mexico Supreme Court has since barred Cano from holding judicial office in the state in the future. The judge and his wife are expected to be charged with evidence tampering.

Conservatives on social media cheered at the news of the arrest of Cano and his wife, saying that is why they voted for Trump.

The same day as the arrest of Judge Cano and his wife, another swamp judge was arrested for obstructing justice and helping an illegal alien evade arrest. Media cited FBI Director Kash Patel announcing the judge’s arrest on X:

Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction – after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week. We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject – an illegal alien – to evade arrest.

The illegal alien, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, was eventually arrested, but the activist judge’s effort to help him evade arrest landed her in legal trouble. She now faces two felony charges of obstruction and concealing an individual to prevent his discovery and arrest.

A handful of leftist protesters immediately came out in support of Judge Dugan and chanted “no justice, no peace” outside a Milwaukee courthouse.

Meanwhile Democrats in other branches of government are actively trying to shield illegal aliens from arrest and deportation by the Trump administration while trying to bring in new arrivals. In the border state of Arizona, an employee of the Arizona Department of Agriculture was arrested for smuggling illegal aliens into the country. Joshua Castro, who worked as a produce inspector at the Agriculture Department, was caught by border agents as he sneaked in some Mexican nationals into the country using his vehicle while also wearing his official uniform. The illegal aliens later admitted to paying Castro between $7,600 and $12,000 each, as reported in The Gateway Pundit (April 25).

This is proof that elections have consequences. Hopefully Trump will appoint several more and hopefully get to nominate at least a couple of SCOTUS justices. And if at least one is a liberal justice that would be great.

That’s about the best news I’ve seen so far. Finally the Trump DOJ is showing some balls. It’s time to go after these pieces of human excreta.

So, the right is in favor of with holding Due Process for all. It’s the law. Summary deportations without appearing before a judge is unlawful.
When a judge does not agree with the administration’s tactics and moves within the laws is that wrong. The administration is wrong.
This is 2025 USA and not pre Revolutionary War colony mob justice. Trump is a King George wannabe.
