Biden’s Legacy: Mistakes and a Failed Presidency

As the dust settles on the last four years and we are about to embark on the promise of something new and better as Donald J. Trump takes the oath of office, Joe Biden leaves the Oval Office as one of the least popular presidents of all time.

A new national poll indicates that President Biden’s approval ratings remain well underwater as the nation’s 46th president is only days from leaving office.

Just 36% of Americans approve of the job Biden is doing in the White House, according to the latest CNN poll conducted by SSRS, with 64% saying they disapprove. The approval rating matches the president’s previous low mark in the cable news network’s polling during Biden’s single term in office.

Such abysmal numbers as he exits the White House should surprise no one. From high inflation and rampant dishonesty, to standing by as wars broke out, Joe Biden failed repeatedly in his one term in the White House.

On Biden’s watch, Russia invaded Ukraine, Hamas attacked Israel, the United States bungled its withdrawal from Afghanistan, and military alliances binding China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia grew stronger.

And despite him taking sole credit for a cease-fire, which is more likely due to fear of Donald Trump, Americans are still being held hostage in Gaza after more than 15 months of captivity, and antisemitism has increased in the United States and around the globe.

But perhaps the biggest failure of his presidency was Joe Biden’s and fellow Democrats’ failure to be truthful about his mental and physical health. That sowed even deeper distrust among Americans at a time when the public’s trust in our government is dangerously low.

In the wake of his farewell speech, Fox News spoke to citizens across the country about how they think the one-term president will be remembered. When asked what she would most remember about Biden, Jona from Michigan replied, “That he sucked!”

“Oh my God, open borders,” one California resident visiting Texas said when asked what Biden’s legacy would be. “I don’t like what they did on our border.” The anonymous man added that “lawfare” against President-elect Donald Trump and his allies was also a major part of Biden’s legacy.

Maryland resident Brian said, “They made mistakes, and people died,” referring to Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Biden’s most horrendous failure is his deceitfulness /dishonesty to the American people regarding him not having anything to do with his son Hunter’s business arrangements with multiple hostile countries in which Biden was handsomely rewarded. He should be prosecuted along with his son who he pardoned for known crimes as well as any other crimes he may have committed that as of now are not known…..
