The greatness of Biden is political malarky

The greatness of Biden is political malarky

You must give Democrats credit for peddling the most absurd hyper-hyperbolic campaign narratives as a means of gaslighting the American people with spin and fearmongering.  They follow the Joseph Goebbels school of propaganda.  The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed – especially if you repeat it over and over.

That strategy is seen with the bogus claims that the riot on Capitol Hill was an insurrection … an attempted coup … a planned overthrow of the government.  They take their hyperbole into hyperspace with claims that the election of President Trump will literally end the American Democracy.  And lately, they claim that the election of Trump will destroy the world.

They have taken the fact the earth is warming (and yes, it is) – and that is the fault of human activity – as some Draconian situation that will literally wipe humans off the face of the earth.  This despite the fact that their short-term ominous predictions have not come to pass.    They use weather cycles – such as this year’s high temperatures – as evidence.  (Incidentally, the Global Historical Climatology Network’s list of the top ten hottest Junes does not even include 2024.  The hottest was 1933. If you are interested, the other nine in order of severity are 1934,1911, 2021, 1951, 2021, 1931, 2016, 1918 and 1936.)

These claims are always expressed as a certainty – as settled issues.  To disagree is to be – as they say – stupid.  Some sort of social or political moron.

One of the latest nonsense narratives is the greatness of President Biden.  Political partisans and sycophants talk of the greatness of President Biden and his presidency as if it is a fact.  And they say it with a straight face.

They say he is one of the greatest presidents in American history – standing with (or even above) George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln.  They say he has had the most successful four years in office of any of his predecessors.

Democrats and the left-wing media are campaigning for the gullible vote. It is hard to imagine that any thinking American would not see the malarky for what it is.  And apparently, they do see it for what it is.  You just cannot fool all the people all the time.

So …  what do the people think of history’s greatest president?  His favorability rating among the people is around 36 percent – among the LOWEST in history.  More than two-thirds of the people believe the nation under Biden’s leadership is going in the wrong direction.  Most people say they were better off under Trump than they have been under Biden.  Virtually every poll shows that most people trust Trump more than Biden to handle the economy, inflation, immigration, crime and foreign affairs.  Despite Democrats’ hyperbolic claims, Trump is seen as much a protector of democracy as Biden – although Biden does have a small edge on that issue.

Biden is seen as incompetent in handling the surrender in Afghanistan … managing the Hamas War … and his too little/too late support for Ukraine.  His weakness has set off a range of aggressive activities by the enemies of the United States.

Two thirds of Americans believe that Biden is too old to be president.  They think he should withdraw – including 54 percent of Democrat voters.  And … at this moment, he is losing the election to a man Biden & Co. hyperbolically claims to be … channeling Adolph Hiter … is the antichrist …  and is an acolyte of Satan.

They tout Biden’s accomplishments as if they are akin to victory in the War of 1812 …the acquisition of the Louisiana Territory … the constitutional amendments and legislation that ended slavery … winning World War I and World War II … the civil rights legislation of the 1960s … ending the Cold War (as opposed to getting us into new ones).

And what about Nixon’s one term?  Extended the voting age to 18-year-olds … passed the affirmative action legislation … ended the war in Vietnam … established diplomatic relations with China …. strong economy (no inflation) … the Equal Employment Opportunity Act … Executive Order 11458 establishing the Office of Minority Business Enterprise.  All big effing deals – to borrow Biden’s terminology.

The Biden legislation – the hallmark of his alleged greatness – is not historically notable other than it has been much more expensive than most — significantly contributing to the inflation he claimed would never come.  Whatever one may think of the “chips bill,” the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act, or the Infrastructure Act, they lack the gravitas to be remembered among the historic list of presidential achievements.

Biden is not even close to greatness in the pantheon of truly great and accomplished presidents.  Whether he gets a second term or not, Biden will eventually fade in the shadow of history – joining the likes of Martin Van Buren, John Tyler, Millard Fillmore and James Buchanan in the Club of Forgotten Presidents.  No amount of contemporary malarky-based campaign hype will change that.

So, there ‘tis.

Did you just bring Nixon back to crush Biden.

The guy is being asked by his own party to leave. His adversary is a felony rapist whose own wife seems to hate him but seems blessed by God, he had a debate meltdown. His adversary is a convicted felon with cases overturned by his hand-picked judges or delayed due to unclear hand-selected scotus judge rulings. And now has covid.

It’s a campaign and his spin are not lies like your felon rapist king tells again and again.

This dog don’t hunt, this dog is down, really, how much more do you need to stomp this dog to get your fair portion of blood?

The numbers are good; the numbers are getting better. Sure there are issue areas, but inflation is close to target, border crossings are massively reduced, why not print the facts instead of Trumptalk lie. Yes he got set up in Afghanistan and boogered the deal, but your guy set the stage. You don’t like Ukraine, but your guy will defund. Statistically, history will put him on the plus side.

So go ahead, keep kicking a dead dog.

    • Seth

Not a dead dog. A retarded one

    • larry Horist

Frank Stetson … Yes .. even Nixon with all his faults accomplished much more and much more enduring work than Biden. That is the point. Biden’s accomplishments are small in historic terms. All the partisan praise is campaign hyperbole. Biden’s only potential for historic memory is as the first President to concede defeat and quit at the last minute rather than face almost certain rejection by the voters.. One way or the other, Trump beats him.

      • Frank stetson

I don’t agree that Nixon did more.

And I like your support for your Felon Racist King. Tells us much about how far you have come since Nicon.

        • larry Horist

Frank Stetson ….you seem to be responding with blind partisanship. You really believe that Biden’s three signature pieces of legislation are more than bringing down the Bamboo Curtain … ending the Vietnam war … passing affirmative action, etc.??? That is just ridiculous bullpoop.

          • frank stetson

Horist: Yes, I do think Biden builds back better; that’s what I said I think. And therefore, yes, I think Biden’s three signature legislations and others are better than Dick’s. You talk “enduring.” China is our biggest threat, our departure from Vietnam sucked worse than Afghanistan after Dick’s lies brought the US house down, and affirmative action is history and I am betting you railed against it for many years……

I am not blind as you screed scream, but I am a liberal. Your name calling decries your feckless facts and inability to debate on such flimsy evidence so you demean instead. You stated: “Frank Stetson … Yes .. even Nixon with all his faults accomplished much more and much more enduring work than Biden. That is the point. Biden’s accomplishments are small in historic terms.” That is the question and as I look at it, you have posed an impossible question in that there is no way, except guessing for Biden’s outcome. And your estimation of Biden’s historic results is just that, and it might be “blind partisanship” given your career and life’s work.

You may just have lost objectivity for the man you once worked for. I was calling him a crook and standing protest in the street just outside. Turns out I was right, as I am right today that Trump is a felon, a sex abuser, a defamer, and this crook should be tossed independent of what policies he stands for.

Give me a second and I will expound on the records. But I need some Airplane “volunteers” and Starship “mau mau” to get in the mood.. :>) Especially mau mau…….

          • frank stetson

Next round on Nixon; I will follow with JB shortly.

Yes, I do think Biden’s progress is better than Tricky Dicks. Yes, I give Dick to China. How did that go for our future which is now our present? I give Russia, Dick. And how is that going? Also, the EPA and clean air act which Trump attempted to gut and since you like Trumpian policy, you must hate Dick’s. And I am in favor of the float and getting off the gold standard, IMO, his crowning achievement even if economically forced to make. Not sure a Democrat would ever be able to pull that one off.

When I see moves like Nixon’s float, or Bush Sr’s tax increase, I harken back to the good Republican days, the days when Republicans wanted to lift the entire country, not just for themselves.

Once again, a brave Republican listened to the people and created the EPA, much as Republicans led the anti-slavery movement. Back then, Republicans still knew the right things, the important things. Today, they like to impeach Joe and chase Hunter. The party turned on Dick embracing pollution like they embrace white supremacy today. They actually want to bring back coal…. And you vote for a Felon Rapist King to get those policies that directly oppose Nixonian policies.

I have to balance any Nixon positives with his illegal actions in Cambodia and Laos and feel his exit from Vietnam was far worse than Biden’s from Afghanistan. Nixon dragged feet in Vietnam, he invaded Cambodia for fun and personal rewards before he gave up. He lied to us in his campaign. He lied about Cambodia where, for the first time in our history, a civilian, Kissinger, picked military targets. How many Vietnamese sympathizers did we leave behind when we left Vietnam. Thousands. Around 100 Americans were left and 1,500 MIA’s never recovered. How many records, how much documentation, weapons, ammunition, did Nixon leave for the enemy when he ran.

Nixon invented stagflation, anti-capitalism price controls, had the highest inflation since the 50’s, actual food shortages, but what galled me was he promised to end the war, did nothing initially, and then invaded Cambodia.

He also declared his war on drugs sending double the average of Americans to jail, a curse that still lives on today.

He started Affirmative Action, how is that going today? Didn’t you guys just kill that? Dead as in hated evil?

He cut the NASA budget. You brought it back with the Space Force.

So yeah, Nixon did a lot of bad things, a few good things, and one great thing, IMO. And some things you hate Biden for, Nixon did worse. And many things he did, you today, if following the Trump policies have ended. More will end if the Felon Rapist King is granted the throne.

          • frank stetson

For Biden, Hoirst says: “much more enduring work than Biden. That is the point. Biden’s accomplishments are small in historic terms.” As it is 2024, that is impossible for me to respond to. But Biden’s rejoining the Paris accord, rejoining the WHO, and killing the Keystone XL program was a great start. The Infrastructure Act was landmark legislation and is only around 50% complete. The environmental aspects of Biden legislation have yet to be felt. You are posing an apples to bananas comparison.

Biden brought us out of covid from a failed Trump vaccine distribution plan, yet another timebomb planted by the Felon Rapist King who fucked the Presidential transition anyway he could. The worst transition in US History no doubt by the Felon Rapist King who was too busy packing up the documents and sending his folks to pillage the Capitol which he watched for over three hours on TV, munching burgers, tossing the at the wall when mad. Like Hitler’s meltdown over the Hess defection.

            Biden made Juneteenth real.

His signature legislation, American Rescue Plan, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act will change America’s future. Already chip, battery and other factories are being built on top of the R&D facilities to drive America’s progress.

The CHIPS act already has made great strides and will boost American high-tech manufacturing.

Child poverty went to an all-time low thanks to Biden’s ARA. Unfortunately, the Republicans, aided by Manchin, did not extend that portion of the ARA. You know, fund bombs before babies….. But Biden showed us it can be done and did more for the underprivileged kids than your abortion bans create.

This year, with help from China due to Biden, we capped some air contaminates. We were actually flat-lining pollution for the first time in decades. Unfortunately, we are also removing particulates that block solar so it’s not totally helping global warming, but we are moving forward thanks to Joe.

Under Biden, we have over 90% of Americans health insured, a first for the nation. That’s right, a positive first for healthcare under Biden.

Under Biden, salary increases outpace inflation. That never happened under Nixon.

Under Biden, green spending has doubled, but we still need more IMO. This is just the beginning of the environmental progress Biden has made, better than any President in history. Today, it’s the spending, tomorrow will be the effect of that spending, some progress already being seen, as noted above.

America’s net worth has climbed under Biden to historic highs. Nixon has stagflation.

Biden urged local use of stimulus money for crime prevention and violent crimes have dropped under Biden.
The Infrastructure Act is only halfway through it’s planning period and has over 40,000 projects already underway. That’s 4,500 communities getting new or fixed stuff. That’s a big deal with big future benefits.

Now, are any of these historic? Obviously you think less than Nixon. I think history will show us they were more historic than Nixon’s removal of the Gold Standard and his non-productive detente with Russia and China.

        • larry Horist

Frank Stetson. Here you go again … a long rant in a 5-day old thread. You really do not understand how it all works … and not only this. But it is more about your obsession than engaging with an audience. LOL I give you an occasional pushback as a personal message — more as advice than enlightenment since you are beyond the latter.

You think in 50 years folks will recall the chips bill LOL …. or the Inflation reduction act …LOL. Come on, man … get real. I see Biden’s only shot at history is in the form of a footnote — for quitting the race and totally screwing up in Afghanistan. And he is not producing anything historically noteworthy with Israel and Ukraine. He gets his ass kicked by Iran. He manages to get American service men and women killed in combat without being in a war. Future generations of children will be asking, “Biden who?”

  2. Brian

Biden possesses all the thinking and energy of a dead dog. Really enjoying watching the Democratic Party implode from the inside out this year. I could get used to this.

  3. AC

Larry. at this moment Trump is speaking at the closing of the Republican Convention. He has been going on now for an hour and heard repeating the lies he has been propagandizing since ‘15 with hyperbole on what he accomplished in office. He’s bragging and promising great things for everyone black, Hispanic, Asian, and white. That he will be President of all Americans.
He’s recounting the past 3 1/2 years and singing his old song. Russia, N. Korea. China, Afghanistan, Iran, Israel and the world’s problems would not have happened if he had been President. He like you is practicing wishful thinking on the one hand and rewriting history to suit your own purposes.
Trump is on another of his iconic delusional political rants. All he promises takes money and he is promising tax relief. He says he is going to Drill, Drill, Drill to produce income and petroleum self sufficiency.
He is something of a story teller and motivational speaker. Like a teller of stories it’s all fiction and make believe. Every motivational speaker knows there is no way their program will not change a thing in the lives of most who are listening. Trump is and has always been the consummate gaslighter and practiced prevaricator with no guilt or shame.
But, he is capable of going on and on talking, talking, talking. Tonight, Thursday July, 18, 2024 Trump broke records for speech length at over 90 minutes. Every word was about everything he personally would achieve. In his dreams he conjures up a super human fete he will accomplish if elected in November. Prophet he’s not. His track record does not supply sufficient truth in facts in support of his audacious claims. Bravado and emotional hype are the way of political conventions which employ speaker after speaker filling the air with giddy smoke of self adulation and cheerleading.
Substance is not achieved only driven to produce emotion in the audience. Trump not call his listeners into thinking mode . His time was engineered to maximize the emotions of the crowd and drive them to take out their tissues and dab their eyes. All the speakers and presenters brought up the shooting event. That was the other thing in the room during this convention, aside from the formality of Trump’s presumptive nomination as candidate. Trump took time during his speech for the telling from his perspective as the target. His version left nothing to the audience’s imagination with the graphic details in plain view including pictures. As he continued his speech several tome more the details became woven into his amping up the delivery on volume and intensity.
Mentioning Biden by name just once, but his intent was clear. Biden became his punching bag for every ill that Trump could recall happening during the current administration’s term. World conflicts all, a Trump attributed to Biden. Domestic issues Trump proposed as the worst in our nations history he contends are of the current presidents doing. Trump seems to say. If he had been king of the world when Russia entered Ukraine. That would not have happened. Hr went on and listed more history in the past 3 1/2 years and from soup to nuts America would have become great under his leadership.
Well. Trump is nothing if not an audacious lier, pompous self advertiser., and arrogant showman, just the short list of attributes not presidential
Although, Trump may be a a few years your junior, you and he have similar characteristics. Which is to be expected for both of you are of the Republican tribe. The Republican Party has particular expectations for its membership. It leaves no room for positive personal attributes, socially amenable characteristics, or generally accepted behavior required for playing well with others. Republicans who view themselves as high achieving party members don’t treat other Republicans with little courtesy and all Democrats are destained as a matter of rule.
Your complete treatise on all things Democrat perpetrated and Pres. Biden instigated is you Republican ego projecting on others your Party’s equal if not greater responsibility for shouldering the consequences. You attempt to push blame where you think it will not come back and bite in your backside.
As the old saying goes, there’s no one so wanting of holiness than a whore on Sunday morning sitting in church.
Franklin Graham was one of many speakers tonight. His dad is rolling over in his grave after his son’s performance on stage. After his praise of Trump and thanking for God’s providence on Trump earlier. Graham gave a prayer for Trump and winning the election in November. As a Christian believer I have strong determined understanding of the words and spirit instilled in the U.S. Constitution as it regards the Church and State. Politics has no place where it should be welcomed in Church, period. The same is law for State functions when in session and during organized official gatherings such as political party conventions.
The Law is right. When the Christian faith is allowed a foothold in State business why shouldn’t the entire spectrum of religious beliefs take a place and demand equal time with representation. The founders understood by experience that separating Church and State is democracy at its healthiest for both institutions as well as our nation.
One idea Trump floated is the notion of UNITY in this country. The First Lady Melania had written a letter to the Republican Convention on the subject. It will be interesting in the runup to November what UNITY and Trump have in common. He has not shown that he has an ability to strictly walk his talk. In this case especially, I am doubtful that Trump has the slightest notion about UNITY in its most basic applications. Nor does he have the slightest desire to learn and think thoughts the include real Unity. The plans he laid out in front of an arena filled to the rafters with convention attendees and party delegates had all the sound and furry characteristic of Trump’s eloquence, but it sounded bombastic and less than unifying..
As an independent voter and a moderate liberal, Trump and the speakers before him would be entertainment, of a sort not my first choice. But, Trump himself is concerning. He is an entertainer with designs on the White House. As President he is no longer an entertainer. The entertainer could win an election. However, a President is called to govern which has demands on the person greater than the entertainer understands. Friendship with tyrant world leaders does not mean golf and poker night with the boys. BFF’s and love letters with frighting dictators is not foreplay for diplomacy,
Sure, you Larry, have been around long enough and seen the workings of government, This country is between a rock and a hard place. Neither party has fielded a winner who is up to the job of President and leader of the free world. Democrats are waffling on Biden as their candidate, Republicans are insanely attached to Trump, who carries personal and political baggage unprecedented for American President candidate consideration. And. the founders could not fore see this eventuality and did not write in a reset clause with the others,.

Very good summary AC. As a fellow Independent, I agree. And yes, Larry is a Trump whore who does not go to church on Sundays! LOL

    • Americafirst

AC, you proved you are capable of going on and on and on. You showed you are also capable of wishful thinking. You seem to think Trump doesn’t have the right to use our right to speak. You likened Trump to a “Hitler” type of person, but you did the same for yourself. You called Trump a gaslighter, but I see you as one also. You showed you are in love with Democrats yet absolutely hate Republicans/Conservatives. And as for religion, Trump’s daughter, Ivanka is Jewish. So how does religion fit in unless you hate God? Then you talk about Trump and unity, saying he isn’t practicing unity, yet, you ae tearing the people here apart with no unity. So what if Trump was and is an entertainer. Makes for giving us good feelings, laughs AND Reagan was an actor. You need to keep to the perspective. Your entire hyperbole is off balance. I don’t mean to offend you, but you DID offend me. I’m just calling the kettle as it is for. BUT keep posting your stuff. I do look forward to them.

        AC is just another fool

  4. frank stetson

AC, it was 90 minutes in the heart of darkness……. It’s all about me, how great I am, how I will save you, me and me alone….. I just remember the chaos. Summer of Floyd, Covid, domestic terrorism, Neo Nazi’s and tiki torches in Charlotte chanting Jews will not replace us — very fine people on both sides the Felon Rapist King said, then his McCain eulogy: “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured, OK? I hate to tell you this.” Those were the days my friend, I hoped they would end, remember: skipping the military cemetery remembrance due to possibility of wet hair…. He tackled covid with the worse response of a developed nation across the globe starting with his initial: “They lost. It’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax.” Yes, he blamed covid on the Democrats. And yes, over 1 million died with the Trump response. For those who say more died on Joe’s watch —- you are right and they were mostly Republicans who refused the vaccine —- guess who never tamped that silly rumor down — they still say it and he says nothing — very fine people no doubt. Like Afghanistan, the chaos that is Trump extends to the next guy who has to clean up his messes.

Under Trump we jerked from one self-made crisis to another herky-jerky in spasms: kids separated from mothers on the border, covid, tariff-based price spikes on Chinese goods, starting with the largest inauguration ever that never was replete with a front row of favored Russians participating, the Muslim ban, the defunding of sanctuary cities, abandoning the two-state solution, Steve Bannon, Scaramouch, Obama tapped my phones, firing Comey, showing top secret stuff to the Russians, paper towels and t-shirts to Puerto Ricans, shithole countries, flips on Russian chemical warfare in Syria, blames PR hurricane deaths on Democrats: “This was done by the Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible,” he tweets. “I love Puerto Rico!”

Who can forget his longest government shutdown ever in the history of the country, not chaotic huh. Those were the days of Trump.

But wait, there’s more: requests rollback of mercury limits, wants more coal, takes down sanctions on NKorea by tweet, takes Ivanka to G20 summit for comic relief, strong arms Zelensky to get dirt on Biden – “I need a favor……” Endorses Israeli to steal Palestinian lands on the West Bank —-

It’s just one crisis, one calamity after another —— most are self-inflicting wounds.

And it ended with 1/6/2021 where a Trump protest rally turned into a riot that hid the seditious acts of his ProudBoys, OathKeepers, and other paramilitary militias he told to “stand back, stand ready.” His team, his people, his rally, his words.

Chaos. Madness. Hate. Destruction. Every day a new headline, a new distraction, another crisis. Confusion with be my epitaph. And yes, tomorrow, I feel I will be crying.

    • Americafirst

Stetson, baby, No one ever saw or heard Trump tell anyone to go and riot, to go and overthrow the government in any means whatsoever. That was made up by Democrats and Rino’s. It HAS come out about Pelosi and her daughter with a few others that planned it. I do not have the text to prove it, but it is out there to find. In fact, it was all over the internet just a few weeks ago. Where were you? Yours is also wishful thinking just to prove YOUR point and sway others to your way of thinking. I don’t blame you for trying, though. One thing I know for sure in my gut is there are too many traitors all over this world.

  5. Darren

And people still defend the Biden all in for my self crime family!
Wow, you can not see the forest because of all the trees!
I am not a Make Biden family wealthy again person.
As they are truly all in for them selves!
AGAIN, I am not a republican, and most of the unity in the Republican party
is taking place because they are NOT republicans as well.
The Mitch McConnel’s are republican, as well as the J6th panel
    of RINOS.
We are Trumpers! Period as he is not a true republican either.
He had no choice as that was the party who gravitated toward him.
The Dems had RFK and he stood as honest a chance as Bernie Sanders.
The Dem steamrolling machine as crooked as it is will crush the people if they do
not have major money behind them. Their opinion on matters makes no difference.
Do not talk about what is best for the country, they talk about what is best for their
donners! Always the F ing dollar, as the MOB would say.
Never ever talk about what is the right thing to do for American citizens!
Well I am off to work as I have to increase my hours, thank you for that you Biden F$#K!

    • frank stetson

Darren, I am not a Biden Fuck, nor a baby….are you capable of staying on point without the name shame? And I never said “Trump tell anyone to go and riot, to go and overthrow the government in any means whatsoever.” I said: “His team, his people, his rally, his words,” which is spot on truth.

As to incitement, I never said he did, but since you asked, in his words that day he told the crowd to fight 28 times, once to fight like hell or your won’t have a country anymore. While that’s not a direct order, it’s not inciting, it certainly is inciteful especially on top of Trump sanctioned speakers calling for open war. They called for war at his rally and he just smiled, fist pumped, and cheered. But I just said “his words.” The rest you fabricated.

FYI: all the 1/6 speeches can be read online as well as the court testimony, under threat of perjury, where NUMBEROUS Trumplicants professed that Trump told them to do it, that they were doing it for Trump, —- Trump never sued any of them for defamation so I guess he accepts that as truth. Frankly, his 1/6 speech is the foundation of the 2024 Trump we are seeing today. He tried to pivot to unite in his acceptance speech for less than 20 minutes and then over an hour of lies, threats, doom, and gloom as he painted his dark picture of America today, and in his version for the future.

Any Pelosi ties to the Republican Violent Attack on the Nation’s Capital have been debunked as edits, spins, and lies. That debunking is posted here too. Just search for it, ho ho ho. Really don’t want to repeat it here, again. It’s here in a number of places.

The Biden crime family is an Republican myth unproven past the allegation stage where paper does not refuse ink. Comer/Jordan use the court of right-wing MSM to try their case. Amazingly they always find guilty and they always win on right-wing MSM. But they can’t get it up to get to court. They don’t have the balls, or facts, to get it to court so they try it in the press.

In it for themselves? We talking thousands $$$$ in the Biden allegations. Trump/Kushner got billions from the Saudi Killer Prince. They have also taken billions from many countries overseas as reported in the NYT. I will detail that next. But I am sorry. Trump is a Felon. His company is corrupt with many Felonies. His lawyer went to jail. His recent lawyers pled guilty to rigging the 2020 election and will testigy against him. His 2016 campaign staff heads went to jail. He is a Sexual Abuser. He defames women who he raped, digitally that is. And you have allegations against Biden. Not even close to equivalent.

I agree, you are Trumplicant as is the Republican Party. At least in enabling it if not more. You can’t say I like the policies, not the man. The man is the policies at this point, one in the same. Except for Wampler, he is a Trumplicunt, because he likes it, he likes to say it and likes to use that four letter word for women he dislikes. Why is Trump a Republican. Because that’s where the money is. Democrats wouldn’t buy his shit, they think he’s a clown. With Republicans, he makes 59.99 on a bible. Hundreds for sneakers. Fake comic renderings for thousands. Heck, he get’s shot and people buy his stock. No practical sense in that. He’s been grifting from day one and never paid a cent of his own for his campaigns, did not gift his entire salary as he stated and probably stole the White House China. At least what he could get into the documents boxes.

And yes Darren, under Biden, I have amassed more assets and money. Blew Trump away. Perhaps you should work smarter instead of just harder?

I do not remember directly addressing my comment at you Frank?

Thanks fellow readers and commentators on PBP’s dime. I appreciate feedback, both complimentary and instructive in nature. Free speech as seen in this space has the ring of democracy reverberating all through it. It is well to for all to understand that free speech can be a double edged sword. Its use is felt as it’s swung forehanded and backhanded, commentary presentation and rebuttal comments in reply.
While debate with PB’s writers’ is not their forte. Readers will persist in making comments no matter how uncomplimentary the their reception at times.
We live in a country that now is great. Of this fact none of us should deny but in unison agree.

AC … And you should be grateful that the owner of PBP does not sensor or block free speech. I am a free speech extremist, so I welcome all comment on this platform. Not like MSNBC that blocks and censors … and engages in its own extreme propaganda.

Your free speech “extremism” sounds to me like a text book oxymoron like a free lunch or free gift. How can you be more extreme than free? Just patting one on one’s back that is.

I am a free speech pragmatist and suggest that in public discourse that there should be no freedom for personal attacks, foul language, and a few other things that site owners can establish as a point of site decorum and Constitutional law. No issues here.

FYI: I also feel free speech on cable news and other mediums should label either news, opinion, or better yet, both.

We need polite free speech with a sense of decorum; not what we “enjoy” today.

I would love to say the same about free speech and misinformation, disinformation, and the like, but seems a slippery slope on that one in terms of definition, authorization, and oversights. Don’t have an answer, but don’t feel lies should be allowed much less glorified as they are today. Just don’t have an answer to that one just like we blame mental health for all of our gun control issues when there is no way to identify, much less fix. World hunger too, but we can fix that one if we wanted to.

It was Frank-ly stated by Frank, so get the f outta there :>)

Extremist on freedom of speech, is that even a good thing? Considering what is allowed by Horist’s PBP site and Horist’s vicious attacks on commenters who don’t see things his way. Larry, you have every right to opine on politically sensitive and debatable topics. Who knows but that your choosing the topic and subjects that appear under your name are a ploy to stick it in the eye of known readers. This site’s history’s record reveals your baiting commenters with your personal judgement driven slurs against character, intelligence, party of choice, and any other salacious comment that comes to mind.
That you are a freedom of speech extremist is possibly the one truth made real because its evidence is found in your own extreme responses. Responses meant to denigrate person’s integrity with mocking abuse.
For my comments you have and will abuse me about the age you assume, intelligence inferior. Social/ cultural awareness, and the other faux humor saying in your smug put down inventory.
Your extremist view on speech is that consistent with the conventional conservative view on the subject. I think not! As I commented before, I cut my political teeth growing up among conservatism’s most ardent. Extreme freedom of speech was and is not condoned nor spoken. Those who did use extreme speech were political orators on stage working an audience using extreme words as naturally as these words were for the speaker. However, politicians make assumptions and often these are wrong about their audience. Extreme speech is objectionable in the hearing of those identifying as conservative.
Who, then does extreme speech freedom have appeal? Obviously it has appeal for Horist . You, Larry, revel in its harsh tone and its apparently self satisfy emotional charge received.
Why does anyone believe going to the extreme in words is warranted. Particularly by an opinion commentator self described as mature journalist, political pundit, social/cultural prophet, and an expert period.
(Although his skepticism of other experts is documented)? Why in deed!
That’s an open question. Any and all answers to the question who find no traction. Given Larry’s dogged resistance to any idea contrary to his perception (opinion) made known to others.
Extreme speech sums up machismo speech. Machismo knows no boundaries. In democracy’s social order extreme freedom grab is antithetical to democracy by definition. Extreme behavior in all contexts takes a freedom from another.
0ne person’s freedom ends where another’s freedom begins. What, exactly don’t you, Larry, understand here. It a simple enough concept in life practice.
8 plus decades of your’s may not have taught you sufficiently who you are not and never will be to others you happen along in life.
Extreme freedom of speech or the others our law seems to grant is harmful for the speaker and the targeted. Try it at home or with associates the words used in reply found like poison but OK for PBP.
