Illegal Aliens Faking Victimhood of Crimes to Get US Citizenship
Rampant immigration fraud goes hand in hand with the open border policies of the Biden administration. Some illegal aliens in the country are pretending to be victims of crimes in order to be eligible for asylum and eventually citizenship.
On Friday, May 17, the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a press release to announce the unsealing of an indictment in a federal court in Chicago. Per the indictment, six people were charged with conspiracy to commit visa fraud by staging crimes, specifically armed robberies, in different states where four of the indicted individuals would play victims of the robberies. The “victims” would thus be eligible for a special visa, called the U visa, issued to victims of serious crimes and allowing them to stay in the country, apply for permanent residency, and eventually for citizenship.
According to details, Parth Nayi of IL and Kewon Young of OH were paid by four men –Bhikhabhai Patel, Nilesh Patel, Ravinaben Patel, and Rajnikumar Patel – to orchestrate and carry out the robberies that would enable them to play victims. The release wrote:
During the staged robberies, individuals acting as robbers brandished what appeared to be firearms, approached the purported victims, and demanded money and property, the indictment states.
The robberies were carried out at restaurants, coffee shops, liquor stores, and gas stations in IL, LA, and TN.
In its press release, the DOJ did not disclose the nationality of the indicted illegal aliens or use the term “illegal aliens”, nor made any mention of the suspects’ immigration history. But the news site India West, which posts news about issues related to the Indian diaspora in the west, reported on May 20 that four of these individuals are Indian citizens.
The Western Journal reported that officials believe that hundreds of people were involved in the scam. The paper called it a “new low.”
In December 2023, two men of South Asian/Indian origin were arrested in Massachusetts in a similar case of immigration fraud via staged robberies. Reporting on the scheme of orchestrated crimes, the New York Post wrote:
The scheme, which began in March 2023, had the store clerks wait five or more minutes until the robber made their escape before calling the police to report the crime, prosecutors said.
Seeking asylum out of fear for one’s life or safety has been one of the many fraudulent ways of illegal aliens and even those entering the country legally but planning to stay permanently have adopted as a pathway to citizenship.
But faking crime and playing victims for other motives have also been reported, the most infamous case in the recent history being of the leftist gay actor Jussie Smollett, who was convicted in 2022 of a hate crime hoax in which he played the victim in 2019.

Poindexter Dumpster continues that DOJ announced six people in a criminal conspiracy. He then goes to the Western Journal who inflates this fact to “hundreds of people involved in the scam.” Neat trick. The Western Journal, as THE DUMPSTER knows, “Overall, we rate Western Journal Right Biased and Questionable based on story selection and editorial opinions that strongly favor the right and numerous failed fact checks,” and does The Dumpster second source this bullshit from a known bullshitter. Of course not. That would be professional journalism.
And then, dear reader, The Dumpster asks you to take a leap of logical fantasy faith by stating, for the record, “But faking crime and playing victims for other motives have also been reported, the most infamous case in the recent history being of the leftist gay actor Jussie Smollett, who was convicted in 2022 of a hate crime hoax in which he played the victim in 2019,” somehow getting from some Indian immigrant with a fraud to gain citizenship, to a gay liberal child actor faking a hate crime for attention. Fact is folks, people really want to become citizens. Go figure. If they come find a loophole, perhaps even illegal like this, and it works, then it goes on the internet for others to copy. Tis the way of all things, the same way the right is perpetrating lone wolf violence under the radar across the country. Like hackers, each time we find it, we will shut it down and like squeezing Jello, it will reappear in another loophole somewhere.
