Biden’s FBI and DOJ Spied on Trump’s 2024 Campaign
The scandal of Obama’s FBI spying on Donald Trump’s campaign during the 2016 presidential election cycle has been put aside due to lack of accountability in the D.C. But now, the current FBI Director Kash Patel has confirmed, to no one’s surprise, that Biden’s FBI also spied on Trump’s 2024 campaign.
Last week, Reuters reported (February 25) a statement from Director Patel that the FBI under Joe Biden’s presidency spied on Patel and Sussie Wiles, who is Trump’s current White House Chief of Staff. Patel told Reuters that the FBI in 2022 and 2023 secretly subpoenaed records of phone calls by him and Wiles when they were private citizens. The Department of Justice back then had appointed Jack Smith as Special Counsel to go after Donald Trump by launching a probe into the classified documents story.
Patel also told that “the records were filed in a way that made it difficult for him and other FBI leaders to find them after taking over the bureau in February 2025.”
In one instance in 2023, the FBI reportedly recorded a phone call between Wiles and her attorney while she was not aware of it being recorded but her attorney knew and had consented to it.
Reporting this statement by Patel to Reuter, The Federalist (February 26) called it a bombshell report that ties into Smith’s surveillance of Republican senators after the 2020 presidential election. Smith and his team obtained phone records of several Republican senators and took measures to keep these lawmakers in the dark about the FBI’s seizure of their phone records.
Patel’s recent statement only confirms what other conservatives knew and suspected all along. Michael Caputo, a MAGA conservative said the same on Steve Bannon’s show War Room on Real America’s Voice in August 2025. He told that he was also a target of the FBI investigation because of being Trump’s campaign staffer. Even in March 2025, when Trump had resumed his presidency and appointed key officials, Caputo was spied on by the FBI while Patel had become the bureau’s Director.
Smith’s political witch hunt was not confined to Trump, his staffers, and conservative lawmakers, but also targeted other prominent conservatives like those in independent journalism. The same day that Patel’s statement to Reuters made news, Alex Jones of Infowars posted a video update on his social media informing the public that the US Senate has subpoenaed him to testify before the Oversight Committee in the case of Jack Smith’s spying operation against conservatives. As Jones told in the video, Smith illegally obtained his phone records too.
Law professor and Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley has called the recent revelation about Smith’s spying on Patel and Wiles an indictment of Smith himself. He wrote:
“Rather than exercise a modicum of restraint to show the public that this was not a partisan effort, Smith yielded to his worst temptations in targeting a long list of Republicans.”

Retard joe still lost. And Dunger hasn’t got over it yet But Dunger does rhyme with Dummer.
Bendoverandeatdung: are you OK? You do know that Joe did not run, right? I was over it before Harris lost and noted here how I was getting a McGovern moment well before her campaign ended. I was right. “Dunger does rhyme with Dummer” does not even make sense. Did you mix up your drugs again?
Folks believing Dempsey are fools. On this one, he plagiarizes the Reuters story; is stupid enough to source it, and leaves out all the good parts. Try *https://www.reuters.com/world/us/fbi-obtained-kash-patel-susie-wiles-phone-records-during-biden-administration-2026-02-25/* for the real story. Note the subpoenas as in they followed the law. Still waiting for actual evidence from Patel since what rational person would believe this corrupted liar who wastes our money, uses his power for personal gain, and is the last man to be in a sports locker room chugging alcohol. He can start by showing the subpoenas.
Special note that Dempsey missed. The 12 agents Patel fired were the core of the same very specialized unit that handled international counterintelligence, especially Iran, the CI-12 unit. Their capabilities were legendary. And impossible to replace. The agents terminated worked on global counterintelligence cases, including Iran. Among the terminated was a section chief who handled espionage threats, including threats from the Iranian government and its proxies, one of Patel’s sources said. Another source called the firing of the members of the CI-12 squad “devastating to the FBI’s Iran program.” The source said that these agents have confidential informants in the Iranian community in the U.S. “You can’t replicate that with new agents. The sources go away.” They pointed out that in the intelligence community, it is only the FBI that has a robust intelligence program in the U.S. because the CIA cannot operate domestically. *https://www.nysun.com/article/exclusive-fbi-staffers-fired-for-role-in-mar-a-lago-probe-were-assigned-to-espionage-unit-that-investigated-iranian-threats-in-america-sources-say*
