The case of a Abrego Garcia turns against Democrats
Democrats have made a cause célèbre out of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. He is the illegal migrant who was deported to El Salvador. He has been the point of the spear for the evergreen anti-Trump Resistance Movement – working overtime to stop virtually all deportations.
Contrary to what his supporters claim, Abrego Garcia did have “due process”. He appeared before immigration judges on more than one occasion. He was determined to be involved with the notorious MS-13 gang and eligible for deportation. He appealed and lost the appeal. A different judge accepted Abrego Garcia’s claimed fear of being returned to his home country of El Salvador. The judge ordered that he not be sent to El Salvador.
Due to what they described as an administrative error, Abrego Garcia was sent to a prison in El Salvador. Democrats and the media allies went on a campaign to “bring him home” – as if the United States was his “home”.
They developed a picture of Abrego Garcia as a hard working father who has never been convicted of a crime. In an effort to bring Abrego Garcia back to the United States, Democrat Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to have a tête-à-tête with Abrego Garcia. He returned to America and made the rounds of the news media to plead Abrego Garcia’s case in the court-of-public-opinion.
Shortly thereafter, a congressional delegation of Democrat legislators travelled to El Salvador to meet with Abrego Garcia and draw more media attention to his case. They were denied the meeting, but did garner the desired publicity.
The Abrego Garcia fan club continued to cast his image as an innocent fellow who should never have been taken from his loving wife and children. They were doing a pretty good job of gaslighting the American people with their denials of gang involvement … lies about lack of due process … and misrepresentation of his family life.
But truth is persistent. Since launching the choir boy image of Abrego Garcia, more and more facts have come to light.
MS13 ties
With regard to his membership or association with MS13, there was sufficient evidence for the first judge to order deportation on that basis. The FBI had testimony from a confidential witness who said that Abrego Garcia was a member of the Western Clique Chapter of MS13 – with the rank of “Chequeo.” His street name was “Chele”.
In addition, Abrego Garcia wore the “uniform” of MS13 – a hoodie and a Chicago Bulls cap. When arrested, Abrego Garcia had American currency with the eyes, ears and mouth of the American Founders scratched off of bills – a gang reminder to maintain secrecy.
In December of 2022, Tennessee Highway Patrol stopped a vehicle being driven by Jose Ramon Hernandez-Reyes – a man previous convicted of human smuggling. There were eight others in the vehicle. They all provided the same home address – which was the same home address as Abrego Garcia. They said they were travelling from Texas to Maryland to find jobs – though there was no luggage in the car for such a long journey. These raised suspicions of human trafficking. Police reported the incident to federal authorities and Homeland Security flagged the incident as potential human trafficking.
Abrego Garcia had been previously detained in 2019 in a Maryland Home Depot parking lot in the company of a known MS13 member.
It is series of events that creates a strong circumstantial case against Abrego Garcia.
Domestic Abuse
The guy Democrats and the media cast as a “father of the year” had some serious domestic issues in his past. Abrego Garcia had not one, but TWO, protective orders filed by his wife. Vasquez Sura. The first was in August 2020, in which she alleged that he had locked her and the children (including the special needs child) in a room and denied them food. She also claimed physical abuse. In her court filing, Sura listed examples going back to 2019.
The second Order was issued in May of 2021. Sura accused Abrego Garcia of ripping her clothes and scratching and bruising her. She said she filed the second order out of caution over previous abuse, but did not pursue the case.
In explaining her emotional appeals for his return, she said that they have been” working through” their issues. She said he is a good husband and father. But that is often what abused wives say when they reunite with their abuser. But even if he is no longer an abuser, Abrego Garcia’s history of domestic violence is still a compelling case for deportation.
Lack of criminal record
Those pleading the case for his return often cite his lack of a criminal record. A criminal record is not a requirement for deportation. Many individuals here illegally — and subsequently deported – have no criminal record. There is a wide range of behavioral issue that can convince an immigration judge that you are an undesirable person – a threat to the public. The fact that you entered the country illegally is a factor. If you have been arrested or had serious employment issues are factors. Gang membership – even if never arrested or convicted of a crime – gets you booted out of the country.
Asylum eligibility
There is also the issue of eligibility for asylum. Most illegal border crossers claim asylum. They can remain in America until their immigration hearing – which can take up to six years. Under American asylum laws, he vast majority of those seeking asylum are determined to be ineligible.
Those who do not appear at their scheduled hearing are deemed to be deplorable – even if they have broken no laws in the interim period. The hundreds of thousands of got-aways are also subject to immediate deportation.
The vast majority of the millions of people who have crossed the American border illegally in recent years are ineligible for asylum … period. That means deportation.
American citizens
American citizens are not deportable – and unless there is a mistake in a case or two – none ever are. The cases that Democrats point to are birthright anchor babies who leave with their deported parents. Whether to take them or leave them with relatives in the United States is up to the parents. Those anchor babies are NOT being deported – as those on the left claim.
Visa holders
Many foreigners hold various visas which allow them to be in the United States for various reasons – visitors, students, diplomats, special workers. Their status is a privilege granted by the Department of State as part of the Executive Branch overseen by the President. Visas are not granted or ordered by any court. Visa holders are here “at the pleasure” of the United States government. Visas can be withdrawn “at the pleasure” of the government. One can legitimately debate the propriety of issuing or withdrawing a visa, but not the right of the government to do so at any time for any reason. And without a visa, a person becomes deportable.
Democrats eating crow
As more and more is learned about Abrego Garcia – and as more people see through Democrats’ efforts to thwart deportation at every turn – there comes a backlash to their immigration policies and mendacious narratives. Van Hollen is rationalizing his visit to El Salvador faster than David Hogg at a gun show. He now says he was not advocating for Abrego Garcia, the man, but for “due process.” Un huh.
Those members of Congress who also traveled to El Salvador to promote the case for Abrego Garcia have suddenly grown silent. It has left House leaders squirming and the left-wing media reducing the intensity of the spotlight they previously gave to those advocating for Abrego Garcia.
Apparently, the gaslight cannot compete with the bright sunshine of truth. Democrats hate Trump so much that it makes them crazy. What else could explain their longtime support of illegal immigration that has been so detrimental to the American people?
Summary
It is important to understand that Abrego Garcia has no right to be in America. He came here illegally, and he behaved badly. He has had his due process. Even if he were to be brought back, he would be eligible for deportation – just not to El Salvador. And he would be deported.
Cleaning up the mess created by President Biden and his like-minded Democrat allies is difficult and complicated. Booting hundreds of thousands of people who should not be in America – and especially those who present a clear and present danger to the life, health and welfare of American citizens – is an existential task.
Those who thwart those efforts and take up common cause with the gangbangers, drug cartellians, human traffickers, murders, rapists and the rest of the motely put Democrats on the wrong side of the law. Opposition to the deportation of ANY illegal border crosser who is ineligible for asylum undermines the rule-of-law.
Unfortunately, Trump Derangement Syndrome appears to impose less harm on those who are afflicted – and more harm on those who are not.
So, there ‘tis.

I say “BALLS” to yellow journalism. Some need to grow a pair, others will never. So I will go balls-to-the-walls and say that this was a mistake to send an innocent until proven guilty man to his death in a foreign death-camp gulag that we actually support, fund, and are friendly with it’s murderous host.
This guy you have condemned to death without a trial has no criminal record: period. Worse yet, he is under a court-mandated protective order NOT TO BE DEPORTED. Trump admitted his deportation is a mistake. Everything else is Larry’s allegations, accusations, and scuttlebutt, not adjudicated in a court of law, nor even held up to the light of day for scrutiny. Some evidence has been “judged” by civil servants to send this guy to his death in our new State-Funded death-camp gulag in a foreign country. That’s not America: period. We don’t let civil servants decide good tats from bad tats with the result condemning a man to his death. Or closer to home: Larry does this, I stand against it. I stand for law, order, and the due process that makes it so. Larry stands for judgement by a Felon Rapist King.
Years before his fake deportation for fake gang membership, he was granted a “withholding of removal” order. That’s not a final court adjudication, but a status different from asylum, and should have prevented Trump and Larry from sending him to El Salvador because of potential harm. Trump don’t care bout no stinking harm. He don’t even want people to buy more dolls than he mandates. Since 2019, with the protective order, Garcia has had yearly check-ins with immigration officials, which he has attended “without fail and without incident”. You had the balls to admit your mistake, now HAVE THE BALLS TO FIX WHAT YOU SET WRONG. Take what is the smallest of quantum leaps and fix what once you made wrong.
First, there is no formal “evergreen anti-Trump Resistance Movement.” Not even sure what evergreen movement means except to tweak you emotionally because it’s got “green” in it. I know what an evergreen movement in business means, but surely Larry knows little about business and the only business in this deportation is bad business. And there is no formal “Trump Resistance Movement” except a distributed network of like-minded people. Larry is paranoid. He’s nervous. The sheep are biting back and he’s afraid.
He launches a plethora of allegations, accusations, that can be refuted either by fact, or by a lack of evidence to support. Bottom line: IF YOU HAVE THE BALLS, BRING HIM BACK TO COURT.
Trump, and Larry, have stated that they made a mistake in sending him to his death in our State-funded death-camp gulag in El Salvador. Trump and Larry claim it’s up to El Salvador to return him. IF YOU HAD ANY BALLS, DON’T YOU THINK THE FELON KING COULD MAKE A REQUEST TO THE GUY HE’S FUNDING FOR MILLIONS TO REDUCE HIS COST AND THROW ONE FISH BACK?
GROW A PAIR, BRING HIM BACK AND DO IT RIGHT, IN COURT.
The Supreme Court has said bring him back and, somehow, Trump and Larry found the BALLS to ignore them. AND THE SUPREMES DON’T HAVE THE BALLS TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, perhaps that’s why. Appears there’s the need for BALLS throughout the Republican Party.
Trump and Larry claim this guy is a domestic abuser. If so, since Trump has similar claims lodged against Trump for rape of his wife, who testified, in a deposition, under threat of perjury, but later recanted, just as Larry and Trump know that Albrego-Garcia’s wife recanted. Same story, but Larry likes Trump and does not like Democrats. Albrego-Garcia is just his foil for that.
Yada, yada, yada on the other charges. Every one can be pushed back for being BALLESS. HAVE THE BALLS TO PROVE THEM IN COURT AND NOT IN PBP WHICH IS BIASED, UNFAIR, AND ESPECIALLY FOR LARRY, UNBALANCED. There have been filings in court, they are sealed.
Point is none of this has been adjudicated in a court of law, instead, we allowed our Felon King to pull the trigger and basically kill this guy since many go into our State-funded death-camp gulag, but few ever come out except in a box. A few things This is not “law and order,” “due process,” in America and IF YOU ARE LAW AND ORDER, THEN HAVE THE BALLS TO TAKE IT TO COURT.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? If you think this is fun, wait until he dies there.
You supposedly are gung-ho for law and order, due process, and habeas corpus. This guy was deported without a hearing: period. They charged him with sporting gang tats but cannot prove that in court; IOW — some customs agent was judge, jury, and executioner rendering judgement, not on facts, but his judgement re tats. That’s not a court order, but some schmuck who will never be held accountable. The guy cannot appeal, he is unreachable, untouchable and will be dead before it’s his time.
You are wrong. You cannot win on this one and, if and when he dies, it will haunt your party for decades.
You are an idiot and maybe you need to be deported to where he’s at so you can be beside your friend. Duh!
Rick, perhaps I am an idiot, but can you actually point to any false statements you think I made? Or are you the idiot? It sure looks that way as you spew lies you can’t back up. I bet you will back down from trying to prove me wrong on the facts. So, come on, have the balls to show me where I got the facts wrong. Go for it.
He is not my friend, but his is a human that Trump admits was wrongfully deported. He is deported based on supposed gang tats that some civil servant determined means he’s in the gang. As in some schmuck guessed a certain tat is part of a gang; they don’t know, they never proved that in court. He is also under a court-ordered protective order NOT to be deported so it was an illegal act to do so. I realize that since you want to deport legal citizens just because you disagree with their politics, that the rule of law means nothing to you. No duh.
Maybe you like disappearing people to a death-camp gulag that you fund, but I stand for the Constitution, the rule of law, habeas corpus, and frankly, human decency. You should try it. Because going the other way and trying to deport me to a third world death camp gulag is something only an idiot would attempt.
