DHS Warns: Expect More Domestic Terror – What?
The Department of Homeland Security renewed a unique advisory this week warning Americans to expect an increase in domestic terror attacks over the next six months as the spread of disinformation and conspiracy theories coincide with high-profile events like the midterm elections, the Supreme Court’s decision on abortion, and the ongoing crisis at the US-Mexico border.
“The United States remains in a heightened threat environment…and several recent attacks have highlighted the dynamic and complex nature of the threat environment,” reads the agency’s National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin. “In the coming months, we expect the threat environment to become more dynamic as several high-profile events could be exploited to justify acts of violence against a range of possible targets.”
So they are expecting “terrorism” from protesters? When did DHS leave America? We are allowed and indeed encouraged to protest in this country. As far as we at PB know, the only “acts of violence” have been from BLM and Antifa. But DHS seems to be focused on parents confronting school boards.
The bulletin was issued just 2 weeks after 18-year-old Salvador Ramos used an AR-15 style rifle to kill 21 people and wound 17 at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX. The incident was recorded as the deadliest school shooting in Texas and the third-deadliest in the nation following Virginia Tech (2007) and Sandy Hook (2012).
DHS has no idea what to do about school shootings, which don’t fit into the bulletin that they issued.
As noted in the bulletin, the DHS is watching for domestic terror as well as insidious behavior from foreign adversaries looking to exploit the threat environment to sow chaos and undermine democracy (i.e. China, Iran, and Russia).
“We continue to assess that the primary threat of mass casualty violence in the US stems from lone offenders and small groups motivated by a range of idealogical beliefs and/or personal grievances,” added the DHS.
Likely targets include:
- Schools
- Concerts
- Public events
- Churches
- Government facilities
- Media facilities
- Critical infrastructure
Translation: DHS is expecting “terrorism” from Republicans, who are going to undermine the Democrats’ version of democracy (which is oddly similar to socialism). Somehow they haven’t realized yet that suicidal mass killers are not ideological and that their personal grievances are not relevant to their actions.
“Threat actors have recently mobilized to violence due to factors such as personal grievances, reactions to current events, and adherence to violent extremist ideologies, including racially or ethnically motivated or anti-government/anti-authority violence extremism,” continued the agency, pointing to the recent shooting in Buffalo, NY in which the suspect claims to have been motivated by the Great Replacement Theory (the belief that Western elites are bringing immigrants to replace the white race).
Thanks DHS, for providing an entirely biased and entirely unprofessional diagnosis of this crazy, suicidal kid.
Analysts have also accused Russia of backing a conspiracy theory that portrays its invasion of Ukraine as the result of America’s alleged cooperation with Ukraine on bioweapons. (Russia has been clear about their motives and their goals. It may have been one of the dozens of grievances Russia claimed, but it was never a serious one.)
The DHS bulletin notes an uptick in support for recent crimes online from individuals supporting Al-Qaeda and ISIS and an increase in anti-government sentiment among individuals both for and against abortion. There are even online forums encouraging copycat Uvalde attacks.
“Easy access to the content online is really fueling those personal grievances and those often-inaccurate misperceptions about current events,” said one official, warning that teens are particularly at risk. Indeed, 6 of the 9 deadliest mass shooting to take place in the US since 2018 have been conducted by individuals 21 years old or younger.
“It’s really difficult for younger individuals to navigate the internet and understand what is considered to be credible information that they’re consuming,” he added.
Yes, now we have justification for the DHS Disinformation Bureau (thankfully squelched – for now) that would have put the government in the role of censorship; the “truth” of course being what the Biden Administration wants it to be.
This week marks the sixth time the DHS has issued its NTAS bulletin since January 2021. Tuesday’s warning was issued just hours before a previous threat advisory was set to expire.
Editor’s note: Yes, we have had horrific school shootings. But the DHS seems to think concerned parents confronting school systems and pretty much anything that Republicans do are “violent extremist ideologies, including racially or ethnically motivated or anti-government/anti-authority violence extremism.”
The former they don’t have any idea how to deal with and the latter are just figments of their imagination. What the hell do we need the DHS for if this is all they can come up with?
In short, the DHS has been relegated to a distributor of Biden Administration propaganda.

Some claim that Nancy Pelosi is responsible for downsizing the Capitol Police protection; I say that the Commander in Chief who’s main responsibility is defense of the nation, sat idly by as the Nation’s Capitol was ransacked, the peaceful transition of power halted by the insurrectionists as they paused the workings of the Federal Government because they didn’t agree with the results of Biden being duly elected by the people. That is the real crime of Donald J. Trump on that day. Doing nothing as the Capitol was attacked, Congress evacuated, the election process completely aborted, for the moment.

If, for no other reason, his inaction in defense of the nation that day impeaching his responsibilities to defend the nation against all threats, foreign and domestic, as our elected Commander in Chief. And now, thanks to the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol, we can all see more truth about the actions of that day and who did what to who.
