The Fourth Estate revs up propaganda as the election approaches

As we get closer to the election, the propagandized left-wing news media is revving up their war on President Trump, the Republican Party and the conservative movement.  Their primary effort is to convince that EVERYTHING is worse than it is – and the aforementioned are the blame.

One can expect such political hyperbole and nonsense to emanate from the Democrats.  That is part of politics.  The dander to the Republic comes from the unprecedented and corrupt bias of the major news organizations isolated in the New York/Washington media bubble.

Just this morning, I watched flagrant propaganda in full force.

1.  Joe Scarborough – the namesake host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC – used an editorial from the allied Washington Post to give a new left-wing political brand name to the current situation.  The Post writer called it a “Pandemic Depression” – an appellation Scarborough picked up with enthusiasm.  The contention is that we are in an economic Depression caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.  That is what Scarborough and the networks want us to believe – with the inference that it is all the fault of Trump and Republicans in Congress.  This grand lie is served up even though America is in no way shape or form in an economic Depression – not even close.

In fact, the economy is doing remarkably well in view of the massive shutdown.  The stock market still hovers at record highs – far higher than when Trump assumed office.  Consumer spending is soaring.  House prices are rising.  Unemployment numbers are falling.  Job creation is exceeding expectations.  The claim of the Post, Joe Scarborough and all the others on the left pushing that new brand name are … liars.  They are lying for political purposes – propaganda by definition.

2. MSNBC featured an “exclusive report” by the NBC parent company. They were, as reported, provided “exclusive access” to the Wuhan, China biochemical laboratory that is at the center of the Covid-19 controversy.  The question is whether security in the plant was breached – allowing the Covid-19 virus to escape into the general public.

We do know that the virus entered the human population in the vicinity of the laboratory.  We do know that Chinese authorities went to extremes to cover up the initial spread of the disease – allowing it to spread worldwide before other nations would realize their own community infections. We also know that the World Health Organization aided and abetted China in concealing the potential of the disease in the initial days.

NBC reporters and camera crews were allowed to tour the facility to show all the safety precautions.  The head of the facility – and the head of bat disease research – both confirmed that there is no way that Covid-19 could have escaped from their lab.  There were no tough questions challenging their unsupported assurances.  No evidence was provided that proved Covid-19 did not come from the lab.  Nothing more than NBC partnering with the Chinese government to support their dubious propaganda contentions.  The entire episode could have been produced by China’s state-owned television network.  Oh!  It was.

3.  CNN interviewed Trinity Tran, director of the Urban Partners Los Angeles Food Bank. Her mission was to plea for more federal money for her food bank – claiming it was now being overrun with requests for food that cannot be met.  The political underpinning for her appearance was to attack the Trump administration for not doing enough.  She apparently did not need money from Mayor Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles or Governor Gavin  Newsom of California.  Her request was only to Trump.

Tran played the race card by emphasizing that those in greatest need of supplemental food supplies were from Los Angeles Black and Hispanic communities.  This should come as no surprise to any urbanologist.  Long standing systemic or institutional racism in Los Angeles under generations of Democrat leadership has always proved to be disadvantageous to the local Black and Hispanic communities.  To suddenly put the problem on the back of the Republican White House is political malfeasance.

The subtle propaganda shift occurred when CNN’s hosts expanded Tran’s lament into a national story – referring to such hunger lines “all across the nation.”  They were conjuring up mental images of the Great Depression.  Hmmmm.  They must have read the Washington Post for the marching orders.

In fact, Tran’s legitimate need is an isolated example in a city that had near the largest homeless population in America BEFORE the Covid-19 pandemic.  It is true that other historically mismanaged cities – such as Detroit, Chicago, New York and Baltimore, to name a few – may be experiencing a greater need for food among their segregated and impoverished inner-city communities.  But it is hardly a problem for most folks “all across America.”

4. It should come as no surprise that several form CNN reporters are now employed by CCP — China’s propaganda news agency.  Switching sides?   Maybe not.

These are just the most current examples of the type of misinformation, disinformation and outright lies that are permeating from the elitist east coast news media on an hour-by-hour basis in order to influence the outcome of the 2020 election.  It is almost impossible to find a time when so much of the new media has been so deeply corrupted by pollical bias.
