Wanna bet Biden cans Jean-Pierre after the midterm election?

Wanna bet Biden cans Jean-Pierre after the midterm election?

For months, Democrats and their media friends have been claiming that the Party’s falling polling numbers are due to a “messaging failure.”

They suggest that the folks back home are not giving the Democratic Party the support they deserve because the good news has not penetrated the thick skulls of the electorate.

In fact, Biden’s message about his self-proclaimed accomplishments is getting enormous media attention.  They just cannot face the fact that at least half the country is not buying the bull-poop.

If Biden wants to complain about messaging, there is a weak link in his communication infrastructure.  It is his White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

(I shall pause here as the left-wingers set their hair on fire – and pull out their worn and tattered race card.  I AM NOT CRITICIZING HER BECAUSE SHE IS BLACK.  I AM COMMENTING ON HER ABILITY TO HANDLE THE JOB.  I know they will not believe that, but I had to make that point.)

Most White House Press Secretaries are okay.  A few are excellent.  And some are awful.  The list of those in each category is bipartisan.  I judge them not on their politics but on their ability to communicate the boss’ agenda effectively.

Among the very good ones are Jen Psaki (Biden), Kayleigh McEnaney (Trump), Robert Gibbs (Obama), Dana Perino, Tony Snow and Ari Fleischer (Bush II), James Brady (Reagan), and Bill Moyers (Johnson).

Among the worse are Stephanie Grisham, Sarah Sanders and Sean Spicer (Trump), Jay Carney (Obama), Joe Lockhart, George Stephanopoulos and Dee Dee Myers (Clinton), Jerald terHorst (Ford) and Ron Ziegler (Nixon) … and, of course, Jean-Pierre (Biden).

We can cut Jean-Pierre a little slack since she followed one of the best.  Psaki did one hell of a job representing Biden – and you have to consider the person she was representing.  Psaki was on camera almost every day.  There were times you had to wonder if she was speaking FOR the President or AS the President.  She handled tough questions and gave detailed answers – usually without reading them from the briefing book.  Yes, she dodged questions (part of the job) but did it artfully.

Jean-Pierre is just not up to that skill level.  She does not give crisp answers – and even worse gives answers that make no sense.  You just need to recall how she fumbled the subject when her boss called on a dead congresswoman to stand and be recognized.  Jean-Pierre explained that Biden was thinking of the congresswoman and had her “on top of his head.”  If that was true, why didn’t Biden know she was dead?

One of the indicators of Jean-Pierre’s failing job performance is the fact that even the Biden-friendly news media are not covering the daily briefings as much.  They are not booking her for as many appearances as they did Psaki.  Even worse. Jean-Pierre is more likely to be on camera when she flounders.

If I notice all that, you can rest assured that Biden and his staff see the same thing.  I personally believe she is currently in the job because Biden does not want to fire a black woman ahead of the midterm elections.  But I also believe that Biden is not going to enter the 2024 presidential election season with Jean-Pierre as the voice of the White House.  I could be wrong.  Just must wait and see.

So, there ‘tis.

She confirms how stupid that Biden is

    • frank stetson

Really Will? Like Biden does not hire well and therefore he is stupid?

Oh my God, a Trumplicant questioning Biden’s hiring skills. Here’s the short list for Trump. As in the list of Trump hires that had very short careers with Trump. Around 6 months or less, mostly less. It’s great fun and only topped by the long list — those leaving after 6 months.

I would agree Biden screwed the pooch on this hire, and a few more, but in comparison to the last four years where more “short-timer” hiring mistakes occurred than any other US Presidency in history, The list includes the world record for a ten-day appointment to. Hell, he didn’t even sign the papers……

Trump holds a lot of firsts when it comes to poor hiring choices. Here’s the short list, 6 months or less. It’s the dirty dozen IF you count Bannon, who “retired” from two different positions. Wanna guess who plays Telly Savalas?

Anthony Scaramucci 10 days; Win the prize for shortest person in office at that level in US History. Fired for cause after ethics debacle.

Michael Flynn 24 days; Fired/resigns for lying to Pence about RUSSIAN dealings. Ends up in jail. Pardoned. Ends up with OathKeepers around 1/6/2021.

Katie Walsh 69 days; no comments on departure, but she is a real Republican, you be the judge.

Michael Dubke 88 days; he calls it personal, and returned immediately to his old job

      K. T. Mcfarland 119 days; put it his way, when ObamaCare was not repealed, she resigned (or was forced out)

Derek Harvey 6 months; Asked to step down, something about RUSSIANS

Sean Spicer 6 months 1 day; couldn’t take the media heat, replaced by Scaramucci, and 10 days later, replaced again, this time by……..

Reince Priebus, 6 months, 11 days, shortest tenure for COS in US history, booted and replaced by Kelly — that worked out well.

George Sifakis, 6 months, 19 days); Friend of Priebus, that does it.

Brenda Fitzgerald 6 months, 24 days; tobacco stock scandal and a CDC doctor no less.

Steve Bannon 6 months, 29 days; Trump wanted him gone, he wanted to leave, it was perfect. Now he awaits sentencing.

And on top of all that, a pretty high proportion of Trump’s appointees ended up indicted for various crimes.

        • Miles collins

          Political weaponized government thugs.

          • ben is back

Or criminals working on your behalf for Donald J. Trump, chief insurrectionist in charge.

  2. MSGLeo

She is probably the dumbest press secretary in history.

    • ben is back

I am guessing her William and Mary degree outshines anything MSGL can muster.

But I do agree she is not a good fit here, no matter how smart she may be.

I truly believe there isn’t going to be a mid terms election. I firmly believe the entire Biden & admin will all be arrested along with most of Congress/Senate. The Military will be ruling our country. We are under Martial Law anyway which will morph into Maritime Law soon. The Deep State is on its last legs and will soon be no more. It will take about 6 months to right the wrongs in not only America, but the entire world. Many other country’s militaries are working with our Military on the take down. Trump has been our legal President since 3/11/20 when the Military re – inaugurated him. Biden is only president of a defunct Washington, DC plus the real Biden was executed on 7/19/20. We haven’t had a real Biden as President if he was dead since before the inauguration making the Dem’s complicit in treason and gaslighting the world among other crimes. I know much more. There is a video out proving Trump is the true and legal POTUS. I have it!

    • B

Wow, that’s amazing! Tell us what’s on that video! Who is (are) the author(s) of the video? Is there video of Biden being executed? Is there a clip of Trump saying he’s still President, or being sworn in the second time? Do they say what the legal basis is for the military to inaugurate a President? What section of the Constitution is that in?

I’m really interested in seeing this video!!!! Can you give us a link or a website where it’s available? Thanks!

      • Ben is back

        It’s kiddie porn.

      • Joe Gilbertson

There’s words in it, are you sure you want to spend that much time trying to read?

        • Ben is back

Qanon gobbledygook for frustrated losers needing to blame others for perceived grievances causing all their ills. Trump is not President, never was. Hilary just climbed inside his HUGE butt and worked him like her meat puppet to ruin the Republican party. Then she caused his followers to sack the capitol sending hundreds to jail like lemmings off the cliff. How do we know it’s Hillary? The burger tossing against the wall; Hillary is vegan!

  4. Mike

Why does she look like some sort of doll ?

  5. riccardo

Normally you are very consistent… but is Jen Psaki a relative? She certainly should have made the worst list….Lying and constant dodging were her best qualities along with consistently selecting the softballs over the fastballs. Those 3 qualities are automatic for placement at the bottom…. and why Sanders in the bottom. Very professional day in, day out.

    • B

Oh, Puh-leeze! Sanders, McEnaney, Grisham, and Spicer tied themselves into knots lying to try to make Trump’s lies sound believable. When the President lies, on average, about 20 times a day, publicly (live, and on social media), the only choice they had was to lie. Larry likes McEnaney because she lied so convincingly that it made Trump sound almost believable, and dislikes the others because they clearly didn’t lie well enough (or were no-shows). Plus Spicer was kind of creepy…

      • ben is back

Isn’t Sanders the daughter of someone famous?

        Darth Vader?

        Wasn’t she from Goth-em city?

      • larry Horist

Not sure why you worry about having your many screen identities linked. It would not take a genius to identify you from the your consistently inane and mendacious writing style — and you seeming to know my mind. You give YOUR reason why I like McEnaney even though you have no idea of the reasons –other than what I wrote.

        • B

Man, it really burns your ass that I use different signatures! Almost as much as somebody calling you by a Jewish surname. You’ve been writing for fifty years or so – you should have developed a thicker skin by now…

        • ben is back

Take a trip inside Larry’s mind. It’s the five-cent tour. Takes about a minute to see it all.

          • larry Horist

ben is back …. I just realized that your entire intellectual capability is at the level of bumper stickers.

          • Ben is back

That’s ok. You’ll catch up to us someday.

    • larry Horist

riccardo …. In this commentary I was only looking at the effectiveness of the job they are paid to do … serve the interest of the President, regardless of party or policies. Psaki was able to make Biden better than he is. That means she was good at her job.

  6. Chipper

I have been following this blog for a while now and I think ALL OF YOU knowitall’s are full of shit!

  1. It's a shame on the president elect for nominating anyone who is less than a slam dunk first draft pick…
