The Climate Cabal Is Coming for Our Dogs

Since liberalism married climate in the church of science, the global network of the climate cult has been ringing alarm bells of all frequencies. We’ve been told that our cars, bikes, boats and anything running on gas are all bad for releasing carbon into the atmosphere; that our food is bad for environment so we should eat bugs; that our cattle is bad because they fart and degrade the environment so we should east artificial meat; and now they say our dogs are a problem for the environment.

The dirtball of a so-called study was tossed to public nuisance earlier this month in one of the countless so-called peer-reviewed scientific journals. Titled “Bad dog? The environmental effects of owned dogs,” this study was authored by two researchers from Curtin University in Western Australia and published in the journal Pacific Conservation Biology on April 10. The paper reads like a hastily compiled list of anything and everything bad about dogs that the authors could find from whatever sources available that would demonize dogs. Even social media memes depicting dogs negatively were included as evidence of how bad dogs are for the environment and ecology.

The major points of the op-ed style paper by the Australian duo include:

  • Dogs kill as well as disturb the life-cycles of many species.
  • Dogs poop and urinate, which can disturb the lives of other animals deterred by their smell.
  • Dogs can pollute waterways and affect plants.
  • There are too many dogs and they are contributing to the global carbon emissions.

In short, the authors present the “bad dog” problem in their paper’s abstract as:

We argue that the environmental impact of owned dogs is far greater, more insidious, and more concerning than is generally recognised.

Soon as this joke of a paper was published in the journal, leftist media started promoting it in its usual fear-porn manner. The Guardian wrote about it under the headline, “Pet dogs have ‘extensive and multifarious’ impact on environment, new research finds.” Leftist rag Mother Jones chose the word “villain” to describe dogs: “Bad News for Man’s Best Friend: Dogs Are Environmental Villains.” SciTechDaily called dogs “major climate threat” in its story the following day.

When the globalist junk science dealers create such a targeted narrative, the skeptic naturally wonders about the underlying motive. Liberals have long pretended to champion animal rights. But dogs have traditionally been treated and seen as friends in the western civilization and a typical conservative family in America and the west keeps a dog or two. So using the familiar bad-for-climate line to villainize dogs more than likely has an undisclosed motive or even a plan for what’s coming. Could it be imposing new regulations on dog ownership? Maybe another tax like the one Denmark passed last year for owners of farm animals? We can only guess for now and it’s best to prepare for the fight ahead in loyalty to our most loyal pawed companion.

    I had to paws on this as reading Dempsey’s tail of howling at the moon about my best friend was ruff. I don’t get why Dempsey is barking up the wrong tree. Trump has no dog in this hunt. Musk hates pets. And Trump don’t pass no laws so no laws gonna change round him.

    Apparently, there’s a dog or two at The Dumpster. I call that cruelty to animals. As he lives with his knickers in a perpetual knot, he appears to see the humor in the report but just can’t fully muster a joke so he comes up with: “Since liberalism married climate in the church of science, the global network of the climate cult has been ringing alarm bells of all frequencies.” Wow, we know he hates liberals, hates America, but now calls science a “church” is some lame passage meant to be arty. It ain’t. Either it’s a very lame try at subtlety, a bad joke or he’s a big scaredy cat when it comes to climate, feeling climate change is a liberal global cult, or even cabal. He is so scared that when an associated professor from nowhere Western Australia combines a number of old studies to make up some new ideas, he goes off the rails as if someone is coming for his dog. Probably thought they were coming for his gas range too. Remember, Dempsey is a guy who wants to tuck tail and run from Putin in the Ukraine War. Always funny to see a pussy that loves dogs.

    As yourself, how does Dempsey know these Aussies are liberals? OR is anything educated liberal? Does that speak well about conservatives? How is this associate processor from nowhere West Australia part of a climate cult? And does he believe science is religion. Does he believe in any science? This story got picked up as a hoot and Dempsey thinks liberals are saying the sky is falling, it’s raining cats and dogs, emergency, emergency. Only in The Dumpster’s mind where he sees liberals everywhere. And he is freightened.

    He has lost his mind to the fear believing “We’ve been told that our cars, bikes, boats and anything running on gas are all bad for releasing carbon into the atmosphere.” Dude, they are. Don’t believe me? Well, just open your mouth, do what you do so well with your friends, and suck some tailpipe IF you think it’s not bad for you. Come on, do it, show us how good it really is. (actually you can breathe a VW diesel, but I digress). “That our food is bad for environment so we should eat bugs;” who told you that, no one has told you that. You just live in fear. “That our cattle is bad because they fart and degrade the environment so we should east artificial meat.” Again — try the tailpipe trick on a cow’s tailpipe and tell us it’s good.

    The fact that is that burning oil pollutes the air. Cows create a lot of methane. We should not eat meat just like The Dumpster should not eat dog. Eating less meat has been recommended for decades for all sorts of reasons beyond the methane. Dempsey’s Pakistan hits the top 25 countries for percentage of vegetarians and is a leader in year over year increases. The US, not even close. But bugs? Methinks the paranoid scaredy cat needs to chillax. If he would unknot his knickers for a second, he might actually do the work of a journalist here for his same topic.

    Once again, I will make climate change easy for The Dumpster man. It is better to pollute less than it is to pollute more. You don’t have to worry about this study or that, the climate cabal, liberals, or treaties; you just should try to pollute less. Or even more simply stated, quit shitting where you eat. Or in the Capitol building. I will say there are some on this site that not only shit where they eat, they are proud of it and plan to shit more and more in the future. Then again, my grandmother blew her nose with two bricks. Takes all kinds.

    It is interesting how these studies get their 15 minutes of fame. Why didn’t The Dumpster use this to answer that? He’s so limited as a journalist. So, what is up with the fight against burning oil or methane or to force us to eat plant-based food? That might be interesting. And how can this combo study, without a shred of new research, become the cat’s pajamas? It is peer-reviewed, but a combo study. That means the methodologies are different; he’s put together apples n pears to make an orange. That never works without peer criticism and doubt. Almost every time. Especially a stretch like this. Some of these studies are decades apart; I looked. And the authors even note that the good might outweigh the bad, but you won’t find that fact in The Dumpster. The Dumpster hates America, lives in fear, and wants us to hate each other, scientists, medicine, and just listen to Trump. “This will make really good TV” seems to be The Dumpster’s driving force.

    He could have looked at the publisher: CSIRO — these guys are a juggernaut with $1B in funding from the Australian government and a fairly checkered past in publishing. If you look, they seem downright creepy. And huge. The University is Curtain, not a lot of noteworthy action there beyond 60K students in Perth. So how does an associate professor, from a no-name University in West Australia, combine other people’s work to call it his own, become so noteworthy as to hit The Dumpster’s radar? Because it hit the NYPost, the blogsphere, and then it went into The Dumpster.

    But, beyond the fifteen minutes of fame that knicker-knotted Dempsey has supported, this is a nothing burger by a no one from nowhere that is going the way of eating bugs or getting rid of our gas stoves. No cabal is coming for Fido. And the Wampler and others can support this Pakistani poet turned fiery conservative for profit all they want. Probably wouldn’t even let him in the door of their doublewide.

    This study, if looked at, will be shot down for the combination of different methodologies providing giant holes in the conclusions. The authors admit they did not balance with the good things dogs provide.

    Now I know there will be no response from The Dumpster. Why would he defend the indefensible.

Unless perhaps you have concluded that anyone with a college degree is a liberal and anyone too stupid to get one is conservative. That would be a despicable conclusion IMO.

    In the real world, the “media whores” as you call them (which makes no sense, what at they whoring and why isn’t Dempsey first in line). that you calling “jump in to sell it to the sheeple” are mostly conservative media types. While in The Dumpster only leftist rags were noted, in the real world, a simple google tells the tale of whose telling this tale and it’s overwhelmingly from the right.

Matter of fact, it seems you deny the Declaration of Independence’s claim “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. –That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” Apparently, you do not “hold these truths to be self-evident.” The created-equal “We” also begins our Constitution, guess that document is out for you as well as the Declaration.

    Folks, why do these guys hate PC, woke, dei, affirmative action and are uber paranoid about mythical white-man-bad cults? Oh how the white trash feels so oppressed. So put upon. So weak. According to your whining, it went to shit in January of 2021, that’s a pretty fast fall from your Trumpian heights of better.

    There is nothing wrong, and everything right with the concepts of dei, woke, and pc —– used to even be a conservative value. Remember “family values,” or “party of Lincoln?” I realize you desire a world where “the people” all act like you, are white, and you exclude or treat badly anyone who isn’t. What’s wrong with diversity? I only see right. What’s wrong with woke and pc; I only see cries for politeness. What’s wrong with affirmative action, the policies and practices designed to combat traditional and current discrimination with proactive measures ensuring equal opportunities? Are you for discrimination or do you just turn a blind eye to its existence?

    You may be against the program’s specifics, or their need over time, or their need to be adjusted over time, but how can you be against the concepts of diversity, equality, and inclusion? And does that mean you are for unanimity, purity, superiority, and exclusion?

    And before your knotted kickers stop the blood from reaching your brain, I am for all of this, but recognize that all programs, over time, need to be adjusted to our ever changing world and program measured results. As in it was most certainly time to adjust affirmative action for our halls of upper education. But do away with it, not bloody likely IMO at this time. Might even need to add a category for white trash to get some more JD Vance’s through school. Same with subsidy programs, tax credits/deductions, and even the current chaotic stupid tariff programs. All things can need change with time due to both success and failure.

    Funny, one of the greatest affirmative action programs was the GI bill. About 2.2 million WWII veterans got degrees. About 8 million used the GI Bill for various educational benefits, including college, vocational training, and on-the-job training. Americans with college degrees doubled between 1940 and 1950. GNP went from $200B to $500B from 1940 to 1960; a rising tide lifts all boats. Not one of these guys and gals had the right to a free education, it was affirmative action based on their service to democracy. Look at the results. I am not big on spending money, but I am hawkish on investment. The GI bill was a great investment as is affirmative action. Once I lost a promotion to a black who most certainly was inferior to the job. I bitched and moaned to my Mom who said: “suck it up buttercup, you are blessed to be white. Still.” So I sucked it up, changed positions, worked even harder, and basically, a few years out, became their boss, and then some. Point is I could have bitched and moaned about their inferiority, my superiority, but instead, I took action to overcome. Mom was right: I sucked it up.

    I am guessing that out of one side of your mouth you claim to be the perfect citizen while out the other you spew this hate for minorities, ideologies, religions, and any partnering beyond male/female. Perhaps if you were not such a loser in life, your hatred would diminish. OR you could take stock of your shortcomings and work to change them to make your own life better and happier though your own efforts versus by just putting others down claiming your own stupid superiority.

    The GI Bill picked an attribute to provide affirmative action to that attribute. My father, a brilliant student, never stood a chance to pay for college. The GI Bill changed that and he changed our family forever because of it. As did millions of Americans. Twas tax dollars that paved the way. Is there any reason to feel blacks would have a different trajectory? Or do you not think black slaves served their forced-adoption country?

    Affirmative action policies in the U.S. primarily benefit white women, you can look it up. It also benefits racial and ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and covered veterans. Yeah, veterans. Illegal aliens are not included in affirmative action except as another of your many delusions. Facts are our friends. Fake is yours. Seems your “lie of reasoning” is your own, many times over.

        You may not like my ideology, matter of fact it seems to give you hissy fits, but there is little doubt we have some grey matter. What’s in your diploma holder? He started on Wall Street, moved to corporate, and then higher education. Myself, I was a editor/consultant and then product manager for top corporation affording me experiences in mahogany row boardrooms across the globe. My father had me on the schools, I had him on the jobs.

          My wife’s MBA came from UofM.

          Want to know close family? I mean we gots an immigration lawyer, a phd professor, a teacher, one at Los Alamos – can’t tell you, and one in LA trying to find themselves as they wrap up their 4 year, part at Purdue, part at UofM online.

          I think you can fault me on ideology, seem impotent to fault me on the facts, and I am pretty sure you can’t match my paperwork for brains based on your musings here.
