UN Climate Alarmism Quietly Walked Back by Scientists
Climate alarmists lost their face last month over the big retreat of walking back their so-called science of consensus; but thanks to the leftist mainstream media’s silence, many didn’t see their embarrassing retreat.
The pseudoscience of climate simulations that has been sold worldwide by the United Nations as science of consensus under the Scenario Model Intercomparison Project (ScenarioMIP) has been the foundation for the left’s war on fossil fuel and other sources of energy for decades. But last month, the UN-backed International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) sheepishly backtracked on the “extreme scenarios” of climate change that it had used to justify its rabid activism for banning anything they didn’t like from cars and gas stoves to plastic straws and even cows.
Last month, in an article published in the journal Geoscientific Model Development (April 7, 2026), an international team of researchers finally admitted that the high-end scenarios (estimated on the basis of high emission levels) predicting environmental disasters have become implausible. The article wrote:
For the 21st century, this range will be smaller than assessed before: on the high-end of the range, the CMIP6 high emission levels (quantified by SSP5-8.5) have become implausible, based on trends in the costs of renewables, the emergence of climate policy and recent emission trends (Hausfather and Peters, 2020). At the low end, many CMIP6 emission trajectories have become inconsistent with observed trends during the 2020–2030 period.
In his commentary on this paper’s confession about the climate scenarios, Jonathan Lesser wrote in the New York Post (May 18) that billions of dollars were wasted on these climate change lies of the United Nations that they are now calling implausible. In his words:
They relied on academics whose careers depended on using RCP 8.5 and several other worst-case scenarios to predict everything from the demise of French wines and the end of pasta to aliens destroying the earth. (No, really.)
Fox News commentator and show host Greg Gutfeld mocked the climate change lies and recent confession of their flawed projections by comparing it to Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s marriage.
President Trump also took to his Truth Social account to slam the UN lies on climate change and called the climate alarmism of “Dumocrats” nonsense. The official X account of The White House posted a screenshot of Trump’s comment.
Jason Isaac of the Washington Examiner (May 21) opined that the international scientific committee retired these unreasonable climate scenarios too late as the damage has been done with millions of American school children indoctrinate with these lies for years.
Leftist elites, meanwhile, only parrot the climate alarmist narrative to convince others that their daily life energy consumption is polluting the environment and speeding up global warming while their own commercial and leisure activities emit copious amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Mike Adams reminded of this fact in his X post as he shared a video clip of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket bursting into flames on Thursday (May 29) at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

His supposed 4/7/2026 Geoscientific Model Development article story is a complete misinterpretation of a peer-reviewed scientific paper regarding future climate projections and emissions scenarios. In the real world, the reality is that the paper introduced seven new, plausible emissions scenarios that might be used in the future for the next generation of climate projections (CMIP7) evaluating different climate futures ranging from high emissions to strict carbon reductions.
People like Dumbsey, other climate tin foil hatters, and some inflammatory right-wing nut media outlets claim that the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) just “walked back” its previous extreme climate projections (such as the “RCP8.5” scenario). This is wrong, impossible, or, in Dempsey’s case: fearmongering. The worse part in this is that Dempsey does not even check the shit he reads before he prints it a gospel.
Dempsey knows that the IPCC did not write the study, nor did it make new conclusions. BUSTED He runs with his lie of a story anyway. And gets paid no doubt for lying.
The Geoscientific Model Development paper that Dempsey lies through his teeth about introduces some new proposed guidelines for future modeling scenarios. It’s updated projections indicate that the world is still on course for a warming between 2.5 C and 3.0 C. That’s almost 40 degrees F to us Americans. And apparently zero for Dempsey’s delusions.
Dempsey hides the truth in his attempt to incite, give you misinformation that can physically harm you, again. The upcoming comprehensive IPCC Assessment Report is not scheduled to be released until 2027. Pssst, Dempsey, that’s a year from now.
Here’s the truth that Dempsey does not want you to know. Worse yet, he fills his stories with lies upon lies as in: BUSTED.
