Trump on Mamdani: New Yorkers Have Lost Their Minds

Donald Trump is no fan of Andrew Cuomo’s, but that did not stop him from expressing shock and dismay over his defeat by Democratic Socialist and AOC Acolyte Zohran Mamdani. The President blasted Mamdani’s politics – and looks – Wednesday after the socialist’s stunning upset in New York’s Democratic mayoral primary.

“Democrats have crossed the line” by elevating “100% Communist Lunatic,” Trump railed in a Truth Social post.

“We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous,” he added.

The President then attacked Mamdani’s appearance and speaking voice.

“He looks TERRIBLE, his voice is grating, he’s not very smart, he’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him, and even our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, is groveling over him,” Trump wrote.

The AOC+3 label is likely in reference to the so-called “Squad” in Congress, a progressive group including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).

Trump also mentioned Mamdani in a sarcastic follow-up post about how Democrats can get back to winning on a national stage.

“The Democrats should nominate Low IQ Candidate, [Congresswoman] Jasmine Crockett, for President, and AOC+3 should be, respectively, Vice President, and three High-Level Members of the Cabinet – Added together with our future Communist Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, and our Country is really SCREWED!” Trump stated.

The President’s salvo of insults comes as the political world in New York and beyond reacts to the Democratic socialist’s stunning primary performance that all but locks up the Democratic nomination for the mayoral election in November.

The Queens state assemblyman’s victory was a shocking upset for former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who ultimately conceded the primary race after trailing by about 70,000 votes.

US Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), whom Trump referenced in his Truth Social post, tweeted that he called Mamdani and looks forward to meeting with him soon.

“He ran an impressive campaign that connected with New Yorkers about affordability, fairness, & opportunity,” Schumer wrote.

Cuomo’s replacement, Gov. Kathy Hochul, who could either help or hurt Mamdani’s agenda if he’s elected mayor, also commended the race the lefty ran.

But other lawmakers were less congratulatory, including moderates in his own party.

“I had serious concerns about Assemblyman Mamdani before yesterday, and that is one of the reasons I endorsed his opponent,” Long Island Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY) said on X. “Those concerns remain.”

Meanwhile, fellow Long Island Rep. Laura Gillen (D-NY) lamented that Mamdani is “too extreme” for New York City.

“His entire campaign has been built on unachievable promises and higher taxes, which is the last thing New York needs,” she said in a statement.

“Beyond that, Mr. Mamdani has called to defund the police and has demonstrated a deeply disturbing pattern of unacceptable antisemitic comments which stoke hate at a time when antisemitism is skyrocketing.”

It’s unclear if Cuomo will continue his election fight into November on an independent line. Mayor Eric Adams, who is full steam ahead on an independent line, and Republican Curtis Sliwa will be going up against Mamdani in the general.

This is so funny to watch the author’s knickers knot in real time.

He says he dislikes Trump braggadocio as he prints the lies in full splendor.

Suddenly he says he cares about NY city as he brands the entire State as gone too far leftist. Since we, in his mind, have always been too radical how could we get worse? And it’s NYC, wny does he care?

I told you why: Tombstone. “You called down the thunder, now you got it……..We see a red hat and we’ll vote them out of office….You tell em we’re coming and hell’s coming with us.”

You keep excluding us, you don’t listen to us, you give us little and now you wonder how we could come on so so strong? Poor little magaflakes Told ya about unintended outcomes and to be very careful what tou ask for.

And we’ll be using the rule of law to make it stick. Not your felon king’s feckless EO’s.

Must be everything around the country besides NYC Mayor’s Democratic Primary Rave is honky dory fine. The White House’s occupant must be happy getting his way governing the country. He loved his expensive military parade honoring his 79th Birthday as he stood returning solutes from soldiers as group after group passed by in formation according to an era war and uniforms.
Possibly if he had made the event more about honoring the occasion of the Army’s 250 year anniversary and the day being Flag Day and paid less attention to the sharing the spot light with the Army,
On the other hand, this was not one of his rallies with all the hoopla orchestrated by his crew to entertain and for Trump’s glory.
But, NYC and the city’s Mayor Primary Election came around with Democrat Party contenders in a much anticipated contest.
What a prime opportunity for You, Larry, to strut your punditry stuff. And you didn’t let your readers down.
You named names such as Pres, Trump and his remarks along with others.
I could sense some mirth in your commentary’s
phrasing. Your basic opinion about the Democratic Party and the city’s Democratic choice happens to be an out there socialist. What a great day for you.
Now the November election has turned into a real horse race for the Big Apple.
Looking got more cheerleaders stuff from you about Trump’s multi wars being fought at once with No King Day drawing larger crowds across the country being icing on his Birthday Cake .
He is going to make this country more crazy still. He’s only just begun his glory march to the sea, maybe the Gulf of America, And, all the generals watching said NUTS! As that’s what seemed to apply in the situation
