Pro-Palestinian Vandals Attack Trump Golf Course
President Trump’s golf course in Scotland has been defaced by vandals with pro-Palestinian graffiti.
Over the weekend, local media showed images of red paint scrawled across walls at Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland with the slogans “Free Gaza” and “Free Palestine” as well as insults against Trump.
“Gaza is not for sale” was also painted on one of the greens, and holes were dug up on the course. The lamp post at the resort’s entrance was also damaged.
A Pro-Palestinian activist group, Palestine Action took credit for the damage, posting on social media platform X: “Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach.”
Last month, while well-intentioned, Trump enraged the Arab world by declaring unexpectedly that the United States would take over Gaza, resettle its over 2-million Palestinian population, and develop it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
Trump’s Turnberry Golf Course and Hotel is located in southwest Scotland and has three courses – two 18-hole courses and one nine-hole course — with the venue previously hosting four Open Championships. However, it hasn’t staged the event since Trump bought the course in 2014 and renovated several holes.
The resort is one of two that Trump, via the Trump Organization, operates in Scotland, with the second being Trump International Scotland in Aberdeen. The President is an avid golfer and his mother hailed from Scotland.
Police Scotland said it was investigating.
“Around 4.40 am on Saturday, 8 March 2025, we received a report of damage to the golf course and premises on Maidens Road, Turnberry,” a Police Scotland spokesperson said, adding that inquiries were ongoing.
Neither the President nor anyone from the Trump Organization has commented on the vandalism.
Separately on Saturday, a man waving a Palestinian flag climbed the Elizabeth Tower – commonly known as Big Ben – at London’s Palace of Westminster.
Bill, Do you really think Trumps comments were ‘well intentioned’? Anyone with half a brain realizes that these comments were self serving for trump, he sees a prime piece of real estate that as a real estate developer he would like to get his hands on. That is their land and instead of talking about taking over their property, we should be talking with the Israeli government about how to rebuild so the Palestinians can come home. Graciously would be offering to rebuild Gaza after Netanyahoo bombed it back to the Stoneage, not suggesting that Palestinians be removed from their territory so that the real estate developer could make a buck selling ocean front condominiums. By “well intentioned”, do you mean well intentioned akin to Maxine Water’s calling for bodily harm to President Trump? Or the out-right disrespect by the Democrat members of Procedures as well as of the guests in the gallery during President Trump’s Joint Address? Or maybe like the offensive behavior of Al Green (not to be confused with the singer)? Or Chuck Schumer’s call to “fight back” against his Commander and Chief? After 4 years of destructive programs and actions by the Biden administration … and I’ll leave it at that.
Suzann, You obviously have SMS (aka Selective Memory Syndrome). The lack of decorum regarding the President of the opposing party has been going on for a while, but was started by the republicans. While I am sure that there were other instances previously, the outburst by Joe Wilson to Obama during a speech to Congress in 2009 sticks out when he yelled “you lie”. And of course there is the famous statement by bitch McConnell that his main goal after Obama was elected was to make him a one-term president and would thwart every piece of legislation that Obama endorsed. Then there was that POS NY reality star that made an issue of where Obama was born, when every thinking person realized that he was born in Hawaii, after it became a state, the child of a US citizen. Biden was not immune to heckling during his term, with dimwitted MTG and Derrick Van Orden venting their displeasure during his 2024 SOTU. So please, stop with the bullshit whining about the ‘disrespect’ that Democrat members of congress gave to the incredibly thin skinned President that many of us are ashamed to admit sits in the Oval Office….
