Political Slug fest: Mitt Romney's Latest Battle
Former presidential nominee Mitt Romney is going to have a charitable boxing match with boxing great Evander Holyfield. It’s all to raise money for Charity Vision, a Salt Lake City group that provides medical assistance for impoverished and needy children who have problems with their vision, according to Gov. Romney. The Salt Lake Tribune reported that the charity drive is expected to bring in big sponsorships from area corporations, in the range of $25,000 to $250,000. Mitt Romney, who lost a 2016 presidential bid to Barack Obama, is expected run once again in 2020.

Looking to become a contender again, Mit’s public image should be improved by this charitable event;s attention. The 68 year-old Romney was quoted as saying, “It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious,” adding, “It won’t be much of a fight. We’ll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit.” Romney, known for having many different stances, could be more difficult to pin down then Evander Holyfield might anticipate.
