Larry David and New York Times engage in gas chamber gaslighting

I cannot recall any President of the United States being called a fascist dictator — and frequently compared to Germany’s Führer, Adolf Hitler. At least not until Donald Trump came along. It is an absurd comparison – and should be offensive to any person with an IQ higher than a hockey score.
Michelle Obama once proclaimed that when “they (Republicans) go low, we (Democrats) go high”. In claiming that Trump is a fascist — an American Hitler and his supporters are Nazis – Democrats and the left-wing establishment have gone about as low as you can go. They are attempting to use the gas chambers of World War II to gaslight the American people.
The Internet is filled with memes featuring Trump — in words and images – as Hitler. Hundreds – perhaps thousands – of newspapers political cartoons carry the Trump-as-Hitler theme. When asked during the campaign if they believe Trump is a fascist, the most prominent Democrats – including Vice President Harris, Senator Adam Schiff and others – answered in the affirmative. These are not some local partisans in a bar or an angry lefty spending too much time in front of his computer, but the leaders of the Democratic Party.
The smear has been spread to billionaire industrialist Elon Musk. The left spun an innocent raised hand gesture into a Nazi salute. (He had actually first touched his heart and raised his hand in a gesture of sending love to the audience). Vandals spray painted swastikas and “Nazi” on Tesla dealerships and privately owned vehicles. And for the most part, the Democrat response to this …shall I say … Nazi like violence has been crickets.
The latest example of the Trump-as-Hitler narrative involves comedian actor/writer Larry David — the genius behind the “Jerry Seinfeld Show” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. (Two of my favorite shows, by the way).
David took his pen to mock the meeting between Trump and late night comedian Bill Maher – who has been an unwavering Trump critic. Maher once facetiously offered $5 million to some charity if Trump could prove he was not the son of an orangutan. Maher based the bet on his claim that only the orangutan as the same shade of orange color as Trump’s hair at the time.
Much to the shock and dismay of the Trump Derangement Syndrome folks, Maher reported that Trump was very pleasant and engaging. He had a good sense of humor and was nonplussed when Maher raised tough issues. As can be expected, Maher saying kind words about Trump got him a barrage of criticism from the never-Trump crowd.
To mock Maher and his meeting with Trump, David created a hypothetical conversation with Hitler. In part, he wrote:
“Imagine my surprise when in the spring of 1939 a letter arrived at my house inviting me to dinner at the Old Chancellery with the world’s most reviled man, Adolph Hitler. I had been a vocal critic of his on the radio from the beginning, pretty much predicting everything he was going to do on the road to dictatorship. No one I knew encouraged me to go. ‘He’s Hitler. He’s a monster.’ But eventually I concluded that hate gets us nowhere. I knew I couldn’t change his views, but we need to talk to the other side– even if it as invaded and annexed other countries and committed unspeakable crimes against humanity.”
What is remarkable about David’s literary composition is that the New York Times published it as an essay. Patrick Healy, deputy opinion editor, defended the newspaper’s decision to print what amounts to an amateur-level attempt at humor (not up to David’s standards). He said it was consistent with the Times’ “high bar for satire.”
“High bar” indeed. It was about as low as a “newspaper of record” (whatever that means) could go. The newspaper put its presses behind the Democrats’ disgusting Trump-as-Hitler” narrative. It is a narrative that can have dangerous consequences. In fact, one of the would-be Trump assassins believed he was saving the country from a diabolical dictator.
Despite the obvious parallels, Healy said, “Larry’s piece is not equating Trump with Hitler”. WHAT? The linkage could not be more obvious. If that was not the intent, the Times would have had no reason to have published the essay – and if it was not authored by a prominent personality, it would not have.
Healy went on to say:
“It is about seeing people for who they really are and not losing sight of that. Sometimes the best way to make an opinion argument isn’t in a traditional essay. American are inundated with news. It can sometimes take a satirical provocation to break through, even at the risk of causing offense.”
So, who is it that Heally wanted to see “for who they really are” – Trump or Hitler? It is obvious that both David and Heally wanted to see them both in the same light – and that is gaslighting.
There is no valid comparison between Trump and Hitler. His supporters and the 77 million people who voted for Trump are not Nazis. But … those on the radical left have failed to realize that vicious and malicious slander is no way to win over the American people. If Trump were the Hitler they describe, Democrats should take no comfort in the fact that voters saw their candidate as even a worse choice.
So, there ‘tis.
Larry: “I cannot recall any President of the United States being called a fascist dictator — and frequently compared to Germany’s Führer, Adolf Hitler.”
Pete Hegseth: “All the way back to Barry Goldwater, and even before that, in the [1948] Truman race, Republicans have been called “Hitler” or “fascists” or “tyrants.” From Nixon to Reagan — I mean, Gerald Ford and Mitt Romney are about as moderate as you can get, and they’re called Hitler.
But with Donald Trump it is different, let’s be real here, those were maybe one-offs. This is their slogan. This is the blood red dripped, you know, Independence Hall with the Marines behind him saying it’s a “threat to democracy.” This is the characterization they have made. There have been two assassination attempts, and they’re not going to stop.”
go figure….
Here’s a scholarly treatise on both parties using the term Hitler to describe each other.

BUSTED.
fyi: Hitler had to be dragged out; you guys burned out the word “fascists,” rendering it meaningless :>)
The problem is with you democrats. You assholes know that you can’t beat trump so you roll out the allegations without any proof. You people want the same old same old until we don’t have a country anymore. Democrats are whining bitches and it’s amazing that people haven’t figured it out sooner. The bullshit mud slinging calling trump racists and Nazis is seriously stupid. So you think that your crowd can do better? Not so. All you idiots care about is illegal wetbacks and how many kids that can be groomed into being fags or trannies. The democrats on the courts refuse to uphold the law and the democrats are cheerleading for them. And don’t even get me started on gun rights. And since you people love to call Trump’s supporters Nazis and bigots, I wish you fools would call me those names to my face. There’s something weird about people who refuse to wish the success of the president instead of forming your little cliches of resistance. We don’t have to agree 100% of the time, but it’s gotten out of hand. The more rhetoric is spouted there’s more chance of violence. And we don’t need that. I have praised democrats for good policy and bitched about stupid republicans. God bless America.
As the foolish faithful like Larry and Harry here, follow their Felon King, it only took less than two minutes at his Detroit 100 days rally he said that he won Michigan “three times.” He lied. He lost 2020 election ere which he now counts as a win. You blame us for your problems but miss that the guy in charge is lying about everything you think you know.
At the rally, Trump boasted an 87% decrease in the price of eggs, this is a lie. Eggs have fallen by about 50% and are still 100% higher in price than under Biden. He then fabricated gas below $2 a gallon in three states. There are no states below $2 and Trump does not pay for gas. He laughed triumphantly that he ended birthright citizenship for the children of undocumented immigrants which is paused till the SCOTUS hears it in May. He said that VZ gangs are working inside the VZ government is the reason he can disappear people. He lies, there is less collusion there than between Trump and Putin.
He said DOGE corrected “$150 billion on waste, fraud and abuse.” Most see bogus numbers and egregious errors like contracts that don’t even exist being cancelled. Some even postulate, with evidence, that DOGE costs more than it saves.
Trump said “nobody wanted to join the military” under Biden Military. Recruitment was up before his election. The Army recruited more in August of 2024 than in January or February of 2025.
He lied again to say that the United States was “subsidizing” Canada and Mexico by $300 billion and $200 billion a year. The trade deficit in goods and services was $41 billion with Canada and $162 billion with Mexico. No one subsidizes anyone with a trade imbalance except in Trump’s reality. We didn’t give anything away, we bought stuff, we got stuff, we like stuff.
He claimed that the Biden administration had lost $3 billion a day in trade imbalance. Again, we buy stuff, we don’t lose money unless we pay too much for the stuff. And using this same fractured fairytale Trumpian economics math, Trump lost more: about $4.8 billion daily, based on February’s trade deficit in goods of $135.4 billion.
He keeps living in his deluded past dredging up Democrat demons to soothe his savage soulless self. I swear he just wants to party like it’s twenty-twenty-four. He rants and rambles on about Sleepy Joe or Demented Joe. He even held in real time his own poll over which slur is the better slam for an 82-year old ex-President where the buck apparently still stops. He is picking on the vanquished, the loser he says is demented, is incapacitated, a retard — that’s the kind of man he is to pick on the defenseless, the weak, the old. He talked Harris as the border czar that never was. He said Biden engineered a “massive border invasion” of terrorists and murderers. There is zero support for this and immigrants have committed less crime per 100k individuals than citizens. Think about it: if you were illegal and wanted to stay, and you have family here, do you become a criminal? Is that why you came? He then cried and whined about the EV mandate which never existed.
And the hit parade goes on. It makes for great TV as the crowed cries out for more. They leave, rejuvenated, energized, to return to their same lives where eggs cost twice as much as under Biden, where the market has crashed and is in chaos, where GDP is down, jobs are down, and the hammer has not yet fallen. But you can see it raised high in the air with only one way to go.
Words matter. Lies matter. You are living the lie now so I guess it’s never been better for you.
Buckle up, buttercup, gonna be even a hotter summer than last one. Chance are he will call the military out for domestic protests before it’s all over.
Dunger you really should find a job or a hobby. You’re going batshit crazy. Trump is the president and it’s because of idiots in the commiecrat party who let the token ho bully her way into the race when there was plenty of time for another primary after retard joe was forced out by Nancy Pelosi aka nasty pussy. And the funny part is that the stupid bitch is trying to work her way back in the race. You idiots just don’t understand how radical and dangerous your party is. But like many people have stated, “ you can’t fix stupid “. And your comrades who post on this site are as stupid as you are. Why in hell would anyone want to keep gang members who illegally entered the country? But don’t mind what us smarter people say. Just keep on being a damned fool.
Meth, I spell my name: danger. You voted for dung though.
As to my going crazy, please provide evidence. You have shown none.
I am sorry, like your Felon Rapist King, that you are still knicker-knotted over Kamala, Nancy, and Joe. Kvetch, whine, and decry them, but that’s the past
No, as far as I know, no one supports illegals, much less gang members coming or living in America. That’s not the point. We stand against deporting humans to third world gulags where they go in standing and only come out in a box. We stand against doing that without due process, habeas corpus, and our other protections which used to be under the law, before Trump. We stand against rationalizing this based on declaring war on VZ because Trump says the gangs are in the government. He lies. It’s bad enough with they are totally without papers. But they are humans and we do not go in unwarranted, masked, unmarked, unidentified, and then disappear them to El Salvador. And he’s doing it to people here legally, people in the asylum process with papers, and worse. He also claims he’s ready to do it to citizens he deems evil. Nope — that’s what we stand against..
You, on the other hand, believe and believe in the Felon King bankrupted six times or more. That’s on you. Reminds me on his recent cabinet meeting where he wend round the table eliciting praise from his incompetent toadies. Just sat there and took it. Most leaders would say, “that’s enough, thank you, and let’s get down to business.” In my experience, we just moved away from those suck-up knell-well devotees since we knew the boss knew and the boss he no like suck ups. Trump does. He lives for it. And you perform the role so well.
And here we go, for Moth, here’s Trump’s first 100 days of lies. If I am crazy, SHOW ME where.
Trump’s March job report looks pretty good. GDP is looking pretty good in March too. Inflation is down as of March. Great 100-day rally in Michigan for the faithful like to cheer the lies; the man just cannot stop himself. And then the shit hits the fan and this is just round 1.
GDP is in the toilet in April, going negative for first time since Trump’s last deal on the economy. He tanked it before, he has proved he can do it again, and this time, no covid. Just bird flu. Trump blames Biden for the negative GDP on his watch after a year of positive GDP, and more, from Biden.
Have not seen April inflation report, but could be OK, after all, who’s buying?
April jobs report is in the shitter too. Who’s working? Unemployment is up though, go figure.
One reason it’s all screwed up is that Trump, by putting his pudgy fat fingers on the economic scale, then by yanking them off, putting them back on harder, and then taking some off over here, then there ———– economic chaos is king. He put his fingers on the market, the market is no longer free, and now the Trump market is under water. And now that he’s in the crapper and he can’t get off. Not his style to say ooops and the oopsie-boy Musk has run from DC. He’s going full tilt Hoover with the tariff pedal to the metal. The Senate resolution to end the Emergency status that allows the tariffs was put down by Republicans with only three of them saying tariffs are really, really, bad. Good luck in the mid terms, fuckers. Trump’s tariff design is his tool of war, economic war. Soon, prices will go up, and supplies will go down for many things. Inventories are high, purchases non existent. Republicans LOVE this policy. Less than two years…..
One reason GDP was down is that business ran to buy foreign goods before Trump lowered the boom. They don’t count in GDP. Government spending was also down, but that will change soon as the deportation and court case bills come in. Exports were up as foreign buyers tried to beat the boom in their countries as well as some consumers rushing to beat the bell since Trump’s global tariff war has began.
Fact is we are in an economic winter and this is round one. I am guessing business has stopped any expansions or new asset development for factories, offices, etc. and these longer term cost cutting actions will hit next quarter. Hiring too has already begun to shrink and if you hear “layoffs at so n so,” there might be a downsizing tsunami coming spreading faster than covid at a Republican rally. Trump Treasury Secretary Asswipe says prices will not go up giving a similar rationale as I have been giving Larry for years about raising minimum wage. The difference is asswipe says no price increase; I say there may be a price increase, but it’s not a straight-line calculation. BUT: it’s gonna be pretty obvious when you buy tariffed goods that you are paying more and have less to pay for other things with higher prices probably too.
One more quarter to have a technical recession, but like I said, you will know it well before they announce it. I am guessing you may not feel it, but will see the pain starting in a month or so. The great dealmaker has given every indication that he will blink first. He’s already blinked a number of times. He’ll get a deal from Canada, but like NAFTA, it will have a new name and not really different. As long as he can still look good, which, given what his faithful will swallow, pretty good chance.
HAGD Meth, your time has come, the Felon King rules, quit blaming Democrats for your demise.
Goodbye Mike Walsh; gotta save Hegseth, he makes better TV.
WHAT! Larry’s protectionist commentary on Trump is in direct contradiction to his claim that he is a scholar on the subject of political history in the U.S.
Trump had the famous book written by Hitler on his night stand during Trump 1.0 as reported by Maggie Haberman in her book chronicling Trump from his heritage through Trump 1.0 and his loss in 2020.
Trump is an admirer of Hitler’s rise to power and strategies he undertook. Hitler was the typical strongman Trump believes he will be in his present term. He wants the power of Putin and Orban.
His first 100 days in office is validation of authoritarian regime strategy and his over reach of presidential power which has him enriching himself. Trump’s schemes are blatantly making profit from his residence in the White House and personal invitations for an audience with him at his various properties. Those of the super wealthy class for a price dictated by Trump are invited.
If they have some investigation ongoing on with the government, then for several millions the President will conveniently make it disappear. What else are Executive Orders for?
Larry, you have to know Trump is far dirtier than Nixon. Trump only does what gives him power, broader recognition, and more wealth. His ambitions are antithetical to democracy and the president’s oath.
You may disagree, because you are a loyal never intelligent responder to questions referring to Trump’s hug gaps in leadership abilities and his lack of integrity as a person and as president.
You will not concede to the fact that you are wrong and blinded by Trump’s bullying by fear.
Trump is not a true Republican. He flip-flops parties like a fish out of water.
Dunger I have proof of your mental health crisis. You are obviously obsessed with Trump and his followers. But listen up. The taffifs will end and we as a country will be better off than before. The stock markets are greatly improved. Our country will be better and stronger than before trump. He was more hindered in his first term because of frivolous charges that turned out to be total bullshit. And us MAGA people will never be defeated no matter who is in charge. So take your time and figure out if you want to keep fighting mental health or take a nice vacation and relax. Just wondering. Why do you call yourself danger? Are you dangerous? Perhaps you should seek counseling.
Meth, I spell my name: danger. Why do you call yourself Seth? Are you Jewish? Don’t answer that, it’s obvious. I am frank and, based on your venomous, fact less, retorts, sure seems you feel some danger. Facts are our friends, find some perhaps.
Your proof supporting your opinion is more opinion, not fact. I am obsessed with the issues, not so much any individual. I applaud or bang them all pretty much the same. Mostly Republican as I AM a liberal, but I derided Clinton’s character, while I love his policies. Obviously Carter was not the man for the job, yada, yada, yada. But I was very wrong with George Bush Sr whom I hold in hindsight as a great American hero and excellent public servant. I changed my ways with the SNL skit of Clinton talking about the bitch-slapping he gave him. Then his raising of taxes to cover the Reagan created deficits and debt put him in a different light, a great one, for me. Hey, they all pick winners and losers, you gotta disagree somewhere, but, for me, with Trump, I can disagree on over 95% of what he does. Even the Abrahams Accord seemed to turn into a gold-for-peace deal perhaps even previewing the Israeli war to follow.
I am not sure the tariffs will end. Tariffs and income taxes both go to the same place: the general fund. I still say Trump may be planning some magic here. If tariffs work and bring in cash, he says trillions and trillions, he basically has a consumption tax. He can then actually drop this tax and at the same time drop the income tax while potentially not affecting the tax revenue’s stream bottom line. He can claim I dropped income tax big time and perhaps not up the deficit. Pretty cool except no matter what you do, there will be winners and losers. And Trump will claim he dropped income taxes like no other and even though the bottom line is the same, even though you will probably pay more, chances are that the faithful will only see the magic and not the manipulations going on behind the screen. After all, there is no magic, just men.
Tariffs can be viewed as a consumption tax. You buy something, you pay the tariff. The more you buy, the more tax you pay. In this, the rich are winners, those who live closer to paycheck to paycheck are losers. Why? These folks pay the tariff tax on almost every dollar they make; the rich do not and can pocket the tax-free difference.
Income taxes are progressive and should either equal or favor the less wealthy. Given deductions, credits, loopholes and different tax levels for income versus investment, still favor the rich, but hardly close to the advantage that a consumption tax offers them,
Thus the conclusion of this evil piece of genius becomes evident. FYI: Steve Miller basically alluded to this just yesterday. The only question is can Trump even hold the tariffs at any level, before his faithful throw a hissy fit.
The stock market has not come back and will not for some time no matter what happens. There is every sign it’s still going to drop and, more importantly, no one knows how Trump will wake up and toss things around. He has not acted financially stable to date. Ever. He’s a boom or bust sort of six bankruptcy guy who strikes out far more times at bat than a Musk, Gates, Buffet or other billionaires. You can claim it troughed and is coming back, but the market is still 10% down from Biden as Trump hands up our first negative GDP since he handed our our last recession. Even if the market has some rebound, I would bet if you have investments, they are still in the toilet.
Charges bullshit? His business has over 15 felonies for tax cheating, business record cheat, and he himself has over 30 felonies for paying off a porn star for spanking sex to stifle that news from affecting his 2016 rigged run against Hillary. He is liable for sexual abuse, defamation, and the judge denied his appeal based on the common sense fact that Trump is a digital rapist. Trump cheated his university student, he ripped off his own charity; these are all adjudicated offenses of which Trump seems very offensive.
Let’s talk issues and leave the personalities at the door. You can do it, I am sure. You must have some ideas, right?
Total bull dung from Dunger. A pathetic computer junky who is not even good enough to kiss Trump’s ass. You keep throwing up the lawfare but all of that is going away. And the old cunt who lied about sexual assault will collect nothing.
Tom, some facts.
Yes, I work from a computer, but junky? Hardly. And yes, I am not good enough to kiss Trump’s ass like you are. Further, I would not do it as you seem to love too. Did you catch his last cabinet plus one meeting where 17 people in a row kissed his ass? Rubio even went for the rim job. Trump just sat there, smiling, nodding; what ceo would ever stand for that? Sickening what the Felon King will do.
Lawfare going away? Sorry, Charlie, in a way, EJ is already collecting. rump is paying interest at a rate of 4.72% on the $5 million judgment and 4.76% on the $83.3 million penalty meaning he’s forking out over 4 million a year during appeals that he will never get back. His bond was covered by someone else, but I would bet the interest comes out of his pocket. That’s just EJ: he’s juggling more appeals and penalties.
Going away? You are probably right on the federal cases that even if Democrats take Congress and the Oval in four years, might not be able to resume or even have the stomach to go after this old has-been. Then again, there’s so many he pissed off so mightily, even in his own party, one never knows.
But on the State cases, you are just plain wrong; Trump is good, but overturning NYS is thought of as impossible; then again, it is Trump. And that’s over 15 felonies for his business and over 30 felonies for the man making him the Felon King of the United States of America, thanks to you.
Your computer has all that information fyi; you didn’t have to look so stupid. And “the old cunt” is just rude and ungentlemanly which I guess you like. My take is “the old cunt” is the bravest of ladies to take this digital raping sex abuser down, not once, not twice, but three, count em, three times.
You can’t prove anything but your stupidity Dunger. You should realize by now that you’re a joke and nobody takes you seriously. America is never going to be a welcome place for your kind again. Even AOC is winding down. The country now belongs to the conservative majority. So STFU.
Uncle Tom: You have not disproven one fact I have presented. I can source each one, but you will just claim fake news, so why bother. You claim the country belongs to Conservatives who do not welcome liberals in their country and want to silence their free speech.
Good luck with that.
And I promise you that we are not YOUR problem, and YOUR problem will still be there after we are gone and all during the reign of Trump. Just like the first term, only worse.
Two years (minus 100 days). And when we are back, I welcome you to our country, your ideas, your feelings, I welcome all as part of the fabric of America.
Trump is doing a great job. People in blue collar states are willing to sacrifice to make things right. And it’s already happening. You libturds want a recession or even a full blown depression while hoping to return to power. And take notice that the abortion issue isn’t front and center for now. And we still kicked heels up Harris to the curb along with her circus clown running mate. Mr. Musk helped us a lot by exposing the huuuuuge waste in government. And I know you can’t fault that
Talk about gaslighting: good example. Way to stay on point.
And from the delusions of Uncle Tom: “Trump is doing a great job.”
Reality from Newsweek to FOX and everyone in between: “One hundred days into his second term, Donald Trump is facing a brutal reality: the honeymoon is over. In January, Trump appeared to be riding high—polls showed him more popular than ever, with his approval ratings in positive territory for the first time in his political career. But that momentum has vanished. In a stunning reversal, recent surveys now show Trump as the least popular president at the 100-day mark of a second term, eclipsing even the historically low ratings he set during his first time in office.”
Unkie Tom: “People in blue collar states are willing to sacrifice to make things right.”
Reality again from Newsweek to FOX and in between: “That makes Trump’s approval lower than that of Joe Biden (54 percent), Barack Obama (62 percent), and George W. Bush (63 percent) at the 100-day mark in their presidencies, and is down 5 points from Trump’s 49 percent approval in March.” “According to the poll, just 46 percent of rural voters now approve of Trump’s job performance, while 45 percent disapprove. In February, 59 percent approved and 37 percent disapproved.” “Even in reliably red states, the former president is not immune to attrition. Utah recorded an 8-point drop (from +21 to +13), and Idaho, for instance, dropped from +36 to +30, and Oklahoma fell from +31 to +26. Wyoming, where Trump still holds his highest net approval at +38, is down 6 points from January. Arkansas, Montana, and Kansas also saw 6-point declines, signaling that the erosion is nationwide—even in Republican strongholds.”
Regarding the great job, Unk Tom says: “And it’s already happening.”
Reality says: GDP went negative for the first time since Trump managed his recession on his first term. Jobs, OK. Unemployment up. Prices have not come down. Still war in Ukraine, Israel. Iran building the bomb.
UT says: “You libturds want a recession or even a full blown depression while hoping to return to power.” This is just a complete lie without a shred of evidence. Does not even pass the reality sniff test.
Unky Tommie says: ‘And take notice that the abortion issue isn’t front and center for now.”
Reality says: Sure, makes sense, but only because Trump has found even bigger fish to fry like disappearing people to a third world gulag and their death. Commander Chaos pretend to be at the helm, or not.
Weird Old Uncle Tom says: “And we still kicked heels up Harris to the curb along with her circus clown running mate.”
Reality says: Red herring, so what?
Strange Uncle Tom closes with: “Mr. Musk helped us a lot by exposing the huuuuuge waste in government. And I know you can’t fault that.”
Reality says: prove it. Are you really so stupid as to believe what these folks say? Do you even know how much is saved and what is actually waste?
The Guardian: “Musk’s cost-cutting drive quietly deletes billions in claimed savings from website.”
“In October, Mr Musk pledged to cut “at least $2 trillion” from the federal government budget. He subsequently halved this target and on 10 April talked about making savings of $150bn from “cutting fraud and waste” by the end of the next financial year in 2026.”
FYI: only 40% of the crap here actually can be sourced.
FYI: “ Doge mistakenly claiming to have saved $8bn from cancelling an immigration contract which in fact had a total value of $8m, external.”
FYI: Musk has cancelled many contracts he counts as savings. He has cancelled no Musk contracts while he has cancelled many of his competitors.
BOTTOM LINE: Uncle Tom’s reality is BUSTED. Sorry. Look it up.
I spell my name: danger. Facts are our friends. Find some friends.
Larry, you calling out someone else for gaslighting and gas chamber analogies is really rich even for you. It deserves a double WHAT, WHAT!
If ever a gaslighting person there is and was that person is you. Trump has shown his handiwork on this score, for he’s a jolly ol’ King of all gaslighters and you, Larry, are his prince in the gaslight kingdom.
A characteristic of the inhabitants in that kingdom is that like conspiracy theories and propaganda, gaslighting is founded on falsehoods and lies. Lies masquerading, in your case, as evidence of a wrong done by the left. You appoint your self in a position to right a wrong.
There is always a higher standard applied to the prosecution than tjrrr is for defendants. You are the accuser prosecutor, and self appointed Judge. It’s great gig if you can pull it off. Bu, in this case you are shouting into the wind for a loss.
Your adversaries happen to be immune to your charges Their standing in the court of public opinion is better by far. You don’t have an opinionated leg to stand on. Your are an unknown person as well as unheard of.
Although you admit to have a fair opinion of Larry David’s work, you still don’t get it about what you see in Larry David is a comedian and take your opinion on fave value according to your own thinking. Comedians may have some satire going on in their act. But, they are not first and foremost satirists they are entertainers. Entertainers toss barbs at known politicians particularly the President.
Those who choose to pickup the mantle of political satirist are part comedian and part socio-political analyst who study what’s happening in culture and build an analytic monologue about the situation from a wholly different tack than the usual view taken by a partisan opinion commentator.
The satirist doesn’t claim that they are apolitical. For, as it most often happens they find material loaded with possibilities is the politics generated by the party currently “in power”. That would be the Republican side of the political opinion business.
Biden, as you are well aware, was not the magnetic North Pole attracting attention of the comedic nature.
However, also as you know, Biden drew the eye of opinion commutators aka Political pundits like yourself. These pundits of the politically right persuasion have a history of non appreciation regarding satire of themselves and their policies atthe moment and historically. This individuals on the left and in the media do draw criticism from the right that is vicious and barbed. Left, you wrote pieces on President Biden and the left that were salacious, mean, contextless, and lacking factual evidence.
Your opinion is all you needed. Opinions are personal and therefore flawed by personal bias and not actual facts found in unbiased research.
The left is quite sanguine when attacks on their policies and events happening in Congress. On the other side, the right political party seems to be under the delusion that they are correct and above reproach from satirists, comedian entertainers, opinion commentators, liberal celebrities, and the general public.
Trump we know is extremely thin skinned, intoleran of criticism from every quarter, quick to sue for damages, slow to listen objectively and set on retaliation from angry vindictiveness. DJT has a well known temper he does not consider concealing from the public.
These are a few of his favorite attributes. These and more have been observed and recorded during his 100 first day of Trump 2.0. It’s the regime being manifested in Executive Orders and presidential orders given personally in his schemes that monetize his position.
If anyone objectively assesses what his EO’s are accumulating for Trump himself and his wealthy family, friends, crony crooks, WHAT are you doing about Trump’s run a way heist from the public purse
The satirists’ equating Trump with authoritarians in history and strong man fascists are not off the beam. What they and s Houston others are attempting is the sounding of alarm that these events are are Trump and wrecking crew spreading lies, instilling fear, and all in the name of transparency
It’s a bad illegal joke on the whole nation administered by Trump and kid greedy minions.
Larry, if you are so blinded by partisanship that you don’t seethe most extreme fire burning our constitutional democracy into ashes, ultimately. Then step aside and dither in solitary confusion and let real men and women who love America come to her aid.
You think a get down and dirty revolution is in order because you believe Trump’s ranting about his cleaning the swamp. Wake up man. Trump is king crocodile in the swamp and commandeering billions from his self serving EO’s,
It’s Project 2025 and it will run the table for Trump, Musk, the wealthiest Americans. The confidence man has a heist going that is unprecedented in a an evil plot to get more than even revenge on Americans for the 2020 er election Trump is well aware he lost, but will not ever concede that it was stolen.
It’s his MO since his dad sent him to military school at age 13. He swore he wouldn’t ever be forced to do his dad’s bidding. He was going to win at whatever means, because in the end he would win. Second place is for losers and he vowed he would not lose is appear to have lost. That vow had him double and triple down on perfecting “the lies”.
When you put your Trust in Trump and be a loyal Trump enthusiast, he will turn in you as he has done to countless individuals all through his life in business and in politics. He grabs people chews them up for what he can get from them, and spits them out, like distasteful soup.
You see he is a felon who is liable to get charged for his lawlessness in and out of office. A man who brags that he can shot someone dead on 5th Ave and get away with it without worry. He is to calloused a human being and incapable of remorse. He believes he has done no wrongs in his life that he must repent from.
At one time he equated himself with Jesus Christ.
WhAT! Only delusional narcissists insanely claim what Trump has claimed.
Hey, once he days something he can’t take it back. He can’t say “I was kidding” It was a joke. It’s time for Trump that he act like a man and accept the responsibilities of his life. The oath he swore is not worth the breath expended on it. Either Trump 1.0 and 2.0 terms he hasn’t made good on the letter or the spirit of that oath, not the oaths he made in business. Instead of paying up those he owed he spun situations and brought suit.
Nixon said “I am not a crook” and he was one. Trump said he has never sinned. But we know differently, he more than most has sinned against the Creator and his fellow man.
And where is Horist as Trump is out playing his fiddle while he has done nothing for working class Americans. His campaign promises that were of greatest interest and why people voted for him like food prices and inflation in our economy. The first day in office was his self proclaimed deadline. On those first days Trump look to keeping promises he made for the wealthiest including himself and his family business
In the first hundred day inflation was not addressed by Trump with an economic common sense strategy with remedies.
More like his top item on his agenda came up and it was all about retaliatory strikes by the DOJ against any and alll who opposed him in the run up to elections 2016, 2020, 2024 and a long list of names who were part of any investigations into his businesses, his personal life, his political shenanigans, and his laundry list of money schemes. Although with a series of executive orders he has cleared the way to shutdown current and new investigations. Furthermore, Trump has created loopholes in laws that control presidents who have wealth creating plans for themselves that involve selling personal time with the President and First Ladyin the White House and any one his clubs. And more good news for wealthy people who wish their tax issues would disappear. Donate millions to Trumps inaugural fund. Should people need to ingratiate themselves to Trump so he will show favor and influence in a case coming up.
For Presidents in the past other than Trump charging what is essentially a bribe to quid pro quo dinner and drinks with Trump was forbidden, strictly. Then when he wants money a lottery will decide who and how much it will cost the lottery winner.for the privilege
When someone who is wealthy runs afoul with the DOJ Trump will grant clear sailing in DOJ matters for a steep 8 digit price take. I believe that’s like extortion.
Your fearless patriot president is willing to go the distance for his fellow Americans. It he has put the devil in the details. His help don’t come cheep. Starting price is $500,000 for one couple who desire a seat at the table. Possibly not with Trump actually seated at the same table. For the 1/2 mil our wealthy couple may tour the White House with either Donald or Melania, probably neither, depending on the group size and the president’s time. Wealthy celebrities are lining up for tee times with Trump at $100,000. In my opinion for the price they would play 18 holes with cart.
The Trump’s have sellout demand for their offerings to date.
With the pirate like means Trump is employing the DOJ should investigate it it won’t while Trump is still in office.
Compared to the grand scale at which Trump is operating the largest gaslighting scheme any president before Trump had ever attempted. Leave it to Trump the fixer. He will get it done with the most transparency of any former president in the country’s history, bar none.
Larry’s two comedians were recorded telling the truth and not gaslighting. The truth is what it is. The truth is not found in Trump and by extension his speaking, too, is untrustworthy, in every respect.
Larry’s gaslighting commentaries pale in comparison to Trump’s Super Hero status in the Art of the gaslighter. Give him credit. Donald started gaslighting at a young age in military academy and he never looked back.
worry and
Larry, While I am a bit late to the show here, I needed to comment mainly due to the fact that you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about (surprise!). Virtually nothing that trump has done has been blessed by an act of Congress (required for most of what he is doing). Instead, our government is being run exclusively by trump by executive orders, most of which have been challenged in court, the vast majority of which have been decided by the courts to be illegal, and, for the most part he is ignoring the courts and doing what he wants. This is clearly dictatorial action, fascism if you will. If you don’t understand that you are either A) ignorant, B) willfully putting your head in the sand or C) simply lying to your readers so they don’t start yelling to their congressmen to impeach the bastard. Which of these are you guilty of, because it is clear that beyond wanting to be a dictator he is acting like one and the sheep with an ‘R’ next to their names are letting him get away with it…
