Federal Judges Build Leftist Resistance Front against Trump

Trump has made a strong comeback in his second presidential term which started January 20 this year. Lacking a majority in Congress, the political opposition of the Democrats is weak but that of federal judges seems to be getting in Trump’s way of putting the country back on track. And not all of the judges bumping the MAGA mission are leftist.
Last month, federal judge George O’Toole Jr. of Boston (MA) blocked the Trump administration’s plan to buy out thousands of federal government workers. O’Toole Jr., appointed by Bill Clinton, lifted his restraining order a few days later to allow the Trump admin plan to proceed. But the short-lived blockage was a teaser for the judicial battle brewing up against Trump’s future actions as the President.
In the final week of February, Judge Theodore Chuang of Maryland blocked the Trump administration from carrying out immigration raids in certain places of worship. The preliminary injunction of the Obama-appointed judge came in response to a lawsuit by a group of religious organizations that complained about a drop in attendance at their worship places since the Trump administration declared a crackdown on illegal aliens. The New York Post reported (February 24) that the religious organizations complaining about the immigration raids were represented by the left-wing nonprofit Democracy Forward.
One of the most contentious cases of leftist judges getting in the way of Trump’s effort to implement its MAGA policies came around mid-February when Judge Amir Ali of Washington D.C. blocked President Trump’s order to cut foreign aid. Judge Ali, appointed by Joe Biden, ordered the Trump administration to restore funding for foreign aid contractors. The Trump administration challenged Judge Ali’s order in the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) where conservatives have a 6-3 majority.
However, the SCOTUS dealt a blow to the Trump administration on Wednesday (March 5) by ruling in favor of upholding Judge Ali’s order. MAGA conservatives were shocked to see not only Chief Justice John Roberts siding with the leftist justices on the bench but also Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who was appointed by Trump in 2020. Conservatives slammed Justice Barrett on social media and called her a back-stabber working against America.
Emboldened by the SCOTUS ruling, Judge Ali quickly issued another order to the Trump administration on Thursday, dictating them to start paying the foreign aid contractors by 6 p.m. Monday (March 10).
Yet another Obama-appointed federal judge jumped up in front of the Trump administration last weekend in the case of sacking Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger. Dellinger was appointed by Biden as the special counsel in charge of handling whistleblower cases. Trump fired Dellinger last month but Judge Amy Berman Jackson of D.C. reinstated him and even admonished the Trump administration not to interfere with Dellinger’s office or position as the Special Counsel. The case ended up in the SCOTUS. However, Dellinger announced soon thereafter that he is ending his legal fight to keep the office after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled in favor of the Trump administration allowing his termination from the Special Counsel office.
Time for Barrett to be investigated. How much did they pay her or what did they blackmail her with for that moron vote? TIME FOR AGE AND TERM LIMITS for the Supreme Court, ALL of Congress, ALL appointed judges, and ALL elected officials. The corruption appears to be 99.9% at all levels. If the Supreme Court wants to send Billions to foreign countries they need to start writing checks from their personal accounts. The American taxpayer is NOT ATM TO THE WORLD. They are obviously NOT going by the Constitution or the law. Instead they are ruling according to their own political beliefs.
Ernest, and many others on either side, see only left and right, right or wrong, win-lose. If you aren’t for us, you’re against us. And if you are against us, you are evil. He’s a one-trick pony and his trick is a snore. The Constitution had North and South, States and Federal, Black and White, Male and Female, but not a lot of liberal or conservative.
I keep saying we are all in this together, I cannot, nor would I ever want to, get rid of you and vice-versa. I think there is strength and power in diversity and I treasure your input, even as I often disagree. The Dumpster is not one of us, he is not in it for us, he is in it to win it, for himself.
I think the founder’s saw this all too well as the adage goes: “power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority; still more when you superadd the tendency of the certainty of corruption by authority.” That’s Lord Acton in the late 1800’s; I think the founders had this in mind. They did not create a monarchy where one man sits on the throne and makes all decisions for everything. They did not create a duality where two equal powers, like left and right, control government functions in a winner takes all contest. We are a nation of laws; that’s what the founder’s created. They made laws difficult to establish or destroy. Many roadblocks and requires agreement by both sides. Trump cannot make laws, much less good laws. He instead relies on triggers he can pull: Executive Orders, Memorandums, Tariffs, and even selecting “acting” appointments to avoid Congressional confirmations.
The founders then created three EQUAL branches of government to address law in America:
– Legislative branch: Makes laws
– Executive branch: Enforces laws
– Judicial branch: Interprets laws
Congress also controls the money and has the power to declare war
The president also declares states of emergency, appoints Supreme Court justices, and grants pardons
The Supreme Court also judges when a law is unconstitutional and decides cases on appeal from lower federal or state courts
Within this framework, there’s all sorts of extra checks and balances: the president nominates Supreme Court justices, federal judges, federal agency heads, and the Scotus. Congress confirms or rejects presidential nominations for federal judges, federal agency heads, and Supreme Court justices.
There is no liberal and conservative in this: there is the Constitution. That’s what our government workers sign up for: to support the Constitution. Not to support Trump, Biden, or any other single person.
It’s easy to see that when the President decides to change spending allocations determined by Congress that there might be legal issues. It’s the law, not conservatives or liberals that’s the issue.
Perhaps if The Dumpster understood what it takes to be an American, he would know this is not Pakistan and this is not how we roll. The President is pushing the boundaries of his authority often overstepping Congress and the law. Using Project 2025 as his bible, he floods the zone with a mix of the legal and illegal. He is an expert at obstruction and delay in the courts and is comfortable with the chaos he is causing. On purpose. By plan. The judiciary is telling him that, plain and simple. In the case of the right-leaning SCOTUS, all that happened is they couldn’t lean that far right to break the law and give Trump, and The Dumpster, what they illegally desire.
I spell my name: danger and these are the facts.
I find it telling that The Dumpster seeks out issues that will pit us against each other. He could be talking about measles, bird flu, planes crashing, inflation up, unemployment up, gdp down, but no — he’s got to find issues of left and right, power and might, to feed his fires of conservative versus liberal, two entities that cannot be found in the Constitution.
Funny how the balance of power becomes unbalanced when the Democrats weaponize their corrupt and extreme judges. There is a difference between legitimate opposition to a policy and simple harassment cases designed to spend money and waste time.
Beyond their party or who appointed them, is there proof this is partisan or is it just constitutional ?
Harassment? Weaponization? Have you witnessed recent DOJ actions? They are prosecuting prosecutors for prosecuting cop beaters
Or how about DOJ retribution?
You guys take the cake. As you do it egregiously you proclaim the other side is guilty for your sins?
What’s next? Maybe turn our backs on a ally in democracy in favor of an aggressor dictatorship? Some condos built on the bones in Gazza? Can’t even afford eggs for your bacon anymore, sigh. .
