Conservatives Slam Trump’s $40 Billion Bailout for Argentina

The Trump administration has sparked a new wave of criticism among conservatives directed mainly at President Trump who recently announced a bailout loan of $20 billion to Argentina to salvage the country’s failing economy. It got worse when Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told media last week that the US could pay up to $40 billion in bailing out Argentina. How does that tally with the America First slogan of MAGA?

When Javier Milei won the presidency of Argentina in 2023, conservatives in the west celebrated it as a victory for the conservative movement. Milei, a libertarian, immediately adopted austerity measures and cut public spending to help Argentina’s sinking economy, and his efforts were lauded by conservatives. About two years later, the country’s economy has only slightly improved and a troubled Milei is counting on conservative leaders in the west for a bailout while his party seeks reelection in the midterms. This is where President Trump comes in with his bailout package. But is the failing economy of a foreign country needing billions of dollars in bailout really America’s headache?

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia raised the same question when she posted to X page last week. Greene, who has steadfastly stood for America First policies, questioned bailing out Argentina at a time when countless Americans are struggling to make ends meet.

Later in an interview with Tucker Carlson, Greene called the Argentina bailout plan “probably the grossest things I’ve ever seen” and a punch in the gut to American ranchers.

Of the many other conservatives who are disappointed and want answers over this decision to save the economy of a South American country, the farmers and ranchers of America have come out openly against Trump’s plans for salvaging Argentina. They are opposed to Trump’s push to buy beef from Argentina to help that country’s economy at the expense of American ranchers’ cattle. And to make it worse, Trump took a dig at American ranchers on his social media. Responding to his criticism, a conservative rancher from Oklahoma reminded the President that he won back the White House in 2024 because of their votes and efforts.

Meanwhile American farmers are reportedly suffering from Trump’s tariff war with the world, particularly China that used to buy the majority of America’s soybeans. Independent commentator Lena Petrova explained the trouble American farmers are in lately due to Trump’s untimely trade spat with China over tariffs. She also pointed at the fact that this “aid” to Argentina from the Trump admin is “unconditional.”

On his show, comedian and political commentator Jimmy Dore also reminded the unconditional nature of the money while also pointing out the real reason the Trump administration is bailing out Argentina – favoring select billionaires with vested interest in Argentina.

Oh, man, stupidity rules. The Federal Reserve is dead. There has been no printing of money for several years now. The fiat dollar is useless. Sending 45 million to Argentina is such a last laugh on Argentina. Most countries have stopped accepting and using American fiat money. What good will it do to send any money to them? NOTHING! They won’t be able to use our fiat money. Jimmy Dore can’t think through this at all. Trump is doing a TRUMP. A psyop. He is a genius for this. People, wake the Hell up! Don’t fall for this idiocy. Nesara/Gesara is ready to drop. There is nothing to be worried about.
