Bloomberg’s Plan to Defeat Trump in 2020

Bloomberg’s Plan to Defeat Trump in 2020

Billionaire philanthropist and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he will invest at least $500 million of his own money to make sure Donald Trump is not re-elected in 2020.

The money is pocket change for Bloomberg, whose estimated net worth is $56.1 billion.

Last year, Bloomberg’s donations marked him as the second-biggest philanthropist in the country, with causes including climate change and gun control.

“When Mike Bloomberg is committed to making a difference and seeing something through, generally speaking he’s pretty unabashed in doing so,” says Bloomberg’s top adviser Kevin Sheekey.

In this case, Bloomberg will use the $500 million to fund a “data-heavy” ad campaign “designed to operate as a shadow political party for the eventual Democratic nominee,” reports Politico.

Bloomberg is also considering launching his own bid, in which case the $500 million would be used to fund his campaign into the primary season. He is expected to make a final decision by the end of the month.

“Five hundred million is just an obscene amount of money,” says a Democratic consultant close to Bloomberg. “It’s crazy, enough to buy up all the TV ad inventory in the seven or eight states that really matter in a primary.”

To compare, Trump spent about $325 million funding his entire presidential campaign.

Last November, Bloomberg organized a top-notch political team to analyze voter data and design a campaign to stop Trump. According to the consultant, the team is going to “do the infrastructure and logistical work to fill in the gaps for the state and national parties so that whoever the nominee is would inherit a state-of-the-art, fully functioning infrastructure.”

The team is said to be very familiar with the primary election calendar and the complexities associated with the DNC. They’re also aware of the stigma now associated with white billionaire males and the potential problems associated with Bloomberg’s Republican history (he served his first two terms as NYC mayor as a Republican and his third as an Independent on the GOP ticket).

Nonetheless, polls suggest that up to 80% of Democratic primary voters view him favorably.

Author’s Note: Bloomberg’s announcement comes amid a steady rise of self-funded millionaire and billionaire candidates who can launch ad campaigns without fundraising.

This is impossible for other candidates, whose funds are limited by campaign finance laws. This disparity leads to less advertising, fewer resources and staff, and fewer votes.

So, would our forefathers really like the way our elections are bought by billionaires? Trump at least has carried out on most if not all of his campaign promises that really benefit the country and its everyday citizens despite opposition of the free loading Democrats and the Republicans in name only. It is very apparent why there is so much opposition to this President and why he won in 2016. The majority were very tired of politicians and their empty promises. They are all fueled by money from special interest groups for their gain so they can write the legislation their toadies will pass. It is best we stick we President Trump. At least he delivers what he says he will do. Just think what he could do if he had some support in Congress.

Bloomberg want to make sure no one in America enjoys a soda larger than 8oz, no
straws, and you muse read all the nutrition chards before you can order a meal in
a fast food joint. You must wear a suit when you go out to eat. This man is as crazy as O’Rourke. Bloomberg would become the DICTATOR that OBAMA tried to be.

What you have written might be true of Bloomnergs, but not true of the past BLACK POTUS. Pres. Obama had a Republican Senate and congress while in office. With that turtle face M McConnell spent time trying to make Pres. Obama a one time president and that he kept the Trump lie that he was not a born US Citizen. President Obama had to use his executive to write regulations that would stop pollution of the air, land and water. Now YOUR stupid leader has removed all of the regulations that will allow coal burning plants and other industries to spew toxic waste in the water and air. Pres. Obama gave you the Affordable Care Act-Healthcare (ACA), something no other president was unable to do. Yes, the ACA is not perfect, but the REP AND the DEM, both had time or have to make it better. The USA is ranked last out of 11 Countries for healthcare.

Enough with the false glory for a “president” HANDLED by Valerie Jarrett of Iran. No other prez in history made every US citizen a CRIMINAL who did not pay for his Obamamcare. That’s your ACA w/ “you will keep your own doctors” NOT! President Trump is 1st Prez to keep most of his campaign promises & all the TV ads in the world will not change Americans knowledge of that. It’d be one thing if Prez Trump was ineffective or bad for the country; but Dems got Nothing!

Bloomberg may not have to spend that much. The senate has approved Trump appointee anti gun bill Bill Barr and Trump signed signed onto the red flag bill which allows the government to break inrto your home and sieze your gums merely on hearsay.

It was not the money that gave trump the presidency . it was a Lord Jesus Christ who make the last decision, because Hillary was a millionaire too , and she had a lot of power in government. but she was so corrupted and evil that God had to pi5 a stop. TRUMP IS PROTECTED BU GOD. Something that many politicians do not have.

ROFL, MY God did not have anything to do with choosing between the two evil people, Satan did. And it was mostly the Christian Bigots that supports and elected Trump. Sadly the top 7 or 8 DEM candidates are a joke, especially when a DEM homosexual candidate is at the top group. NO, the REP will not write a bill to never take firearms from the US Citizens, read your world and American history to find out why. But the REP’s should write a strong bill to punish all non citizens and felons caught with a firearm,

Why stop a real president for the people? All Trump has done is excellent and will continue. These democrats are enemies of the real American taxpayers. Their corruption, dishonesty and hypocrisy is nauseating. Some republicans are better off being dumbercrats.

Í can’t agree more with the above comments . It’s not about money let this tyrant and evil man spend all the money he wants, but he won’t be able to fight against Our Lord Jesus, He is the only one who is in charge. And I’m going to go with what My Lord wants. I will vote for President Trump as he is chosen by Our Powerful Lord Jesus Christ

The latest scuttlebutt is that Bloomberg, Soros, and Obama have cooked up some kind of back room deal. to influence the minority vote. It had best be a good one. The voters of all walks of life have gotten wise to the democrat schemes.

So his pocket will be $500 million lighter. Doesn’t change the votes and Bloomberg won’t even be in the race by March. I suspect he will be replaced by Hillary.
