Attacks on trump not working.  Will Democrats ever learn?

When President Trump won in 2016 — beating the odds and most predictions (mine included) — the Democratic Party and their media cronies launched an unprecedented Resistance Movement.  There would be no traditional “honeymoon” or cooperation from a loyal opposition for a man who dashed their greatest expectations, hopes and assumptions.  It was arguably a political bitterness unseen in America since Democrats lost to President Lincoln in 1860.

The Resistance Movement had four major elements – (1) never, never say anything positive about Trump or his accomplishments, (2) demonize him and his supporters as consummate evil, (3) use every means possible – legit or not — to undermine his presidency, and (4) use any pretext to get him impeached and removed.  That has been – and continues to be – the driving strategy of the Democratic Party for the past nine years.

Democrats have been true to their strategy of never saying anything positive about Trump, demonizing supporters and using every means possible to undermine the President and his policies.  The Democrat majority in Congress were successful with two dubious politically motivated impeachments – with no chance of Trump’s removal from office.  Their divisive strategy did have negative impacts on Trump, his presidencies, the GOP brand and half the nation’s voters. It lowered his polling numbers and gave Democrats wins in off-year elections.

But in an unanticipated irony, Trump not only survived, but after eight years of unrelenting attacks, endless court cases and withering slander, he emerged stronger than ever.  In 2024, the never-Trump Democrats lost an even more bitter and humiliating defeat.  Voters across the nation – including all the critical battleground states – returned Trump to the presidency and gave Republicans control of the House and Senate.

One might think that Democrats would ponder that and consider their long-term failed strategy.   Were all those unrelenting, vicious attacks actually producing a backlash upon which Trump rode to victory – as many pundits suggest?  But noooo.  Democrats and the left-wing establishment decided that they were not tough enough.  They needed to be even more myopic and more vicious in their attacks on Trump, Republican officeholders and 77 million voters.

Just as they had proffered false narratives in the past — Russiagate being the most prominent but by far not the only one – the left-wing establishment launched even more vicious and more ridiculous attacks – Trump as a king, innuendoes regarding Jeffrey Epstein, and intentional disinformation about the Big Beautiful Bill, deportations, tariffs, etc.

With little political power in Washington, Demorats have developed a “take it to the streets” strategy against Trump and his policies – including the promotion and acceptance of violence, if not an overt call.  We saw that with the largely uncondemned attacks on Tesla dealerships and owners.  We saw it in the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles – and in the innumerable attacks on ICE agents and property. We saw it in the involvement and complicity of Democratic public officials – two of whom are currently facing criminal trials.

Despite the obvious failures of the Resistance Movement strategy, the dominant “fight harder” element of the Democratic Party is still driving the strategy.  That is seen in New Jersey’s Cory Booker’s over the top rant on the Senate floor and in Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s calls for more toughness.  Walz — all but endorsing the attacks on Tesla. Young Democrats, such as David Hogg and the Antifa faction of the Party want more street action… more confrontation … and by extension, more violence.  The so-called “squad” and their acolytes are in full battle armor – as are such old lefties as socialist Senator Bernie Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren.

While the power-core Democrats are doubling down, there appears to be a growing resistance to the Resistance Movement strategy.

  • Former Transportation Secretary said Demorats should “embrace reform—even if that means acknowledging where Trump exposed real institutional weaknesses.”
  • Colorado Senator John Hickenlooper called on Democrats to avoid “reflex opposition.”  Democratic Strategist Basil
  • Smikle advises Democrats to “tailor messaging to resonate with working-class concerns, rather than blanket condemnation.”
  • Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow said of Trump’s proposals: “Call [them] out, be blunt, but don’t shriek about it.”   He said to criticizing Trump, when necessary, but avoiding “the outrage cycle that defined earlier Democratic responses.”
  • Former Obama Chief-of-Staff and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel said Democrats would be more credible by giving Trump credit for such good things as securing the border.

CNN’s Michael Smerconish may have tapped into the reason why the Democrats’ longtime strategy has not been working.  He posed this question to viewers on his Saturday morning show.  “Is it in the political best interest of Democrats to publicly give Trump credit when he accomplishes something with which they concur?”   Smerconish, who predicted a major “no” response, was surprised that 76 percent of his very liberal audience responded, “yes.”   We will have to wait to see if Democrats get the less-than-subtle hint.

The voices of reason, rationality and moderation are still in the political wilderness – and harshly criticized by the radical faction of the Party that currently dominates.  But the voice of balance and moderation is growing among Democrat leaders.

Not so much with the left-leaning news media.  The MSNBC line-up – and the more radical voices on CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and in the bird cage liner print media — are staying the course with uncompromised criticism and hyperbolic accusations to the point of disinformation and lies.  They seem to believe that this time, they have Trump down for the count.  Time will tell whether their optimism is justified or simply another case of emotion overriding logic and experience.

So, there ‘tis.

Poor baby. Poor, poor, picked on, abused, widdle bully boys. Right back at ya, son. I think your revetand retribution tour will top anything dems do. We never stormed the Capitol. We never tackled, shackled, arrested, detested, or molested your Senators and Representatives. Grow a pair.

He is a convicted felon you know?

His lawyer went to jail, two others pled guilty to rigging the 2020 election. His cfo is in jail. Almost his entire 2016 campaign staff and much of his administration went to jail.

And a sex abuser if the digital rape variety.

    And a spanking sex devotee.

    And a business cheat.

    And a tax cheat.

And he tried to rig the 2016 and 2020 elections.

And he pardons pedo’s, drug dealers, cop beaters, a number have already been arrested again. He not only let the 1/6ers go, he let then off the hook for restoring the building letting us taxpayers clean up their shit. Literally. That’s a policy this author lives no doubt.

And Epstein’s best friend who is hiding the list, hiding the files, giving sanctuary to Epstein’s groomer of girls. Little 8th grade girls.

Yeah, no there there for those blind to the truth, willing to sell their soul for the win.

I am a frank danger to folks like that.

    • Willie

Hey Dunger. We’ve heard it all before. But he’s our president. The two cunts lost. Biden stole the election. Not by himself of course. He’s like you. Two stupid to wipe his ass. And aren’t you proud of Elizabeth Warren? Proves my point. Communism 101. And we the people aren’t going to allow it.

      • Frank danger

Willie. I told the truth. You lie.

        • Big Al 45LC

Truth? There’s no evidence of election meddling by Trump. you’re just spreading Demmie propaganda.
We now know there was such meddling by the Democrats, which you would know if you didn’t live under the Left Wing propaganda rock

          • frank danger

Big A: On one hand, you see no evidentiary truth to Trump election meddling, and on the other hand, without showing any evidentiary truth or proof, you can claim: “we now know there was such meddling by the Democrats” and claim that I am the one to live under a rock of propaganda. Those two ideas together got hypocrite written all over them, even before one looks up the facts. I suggest the old adage: “show your work” to perhaps flesh out where you have your head firmly implanted in your posterior.

You have no evidence of Dems rigging anything of value, much less an entire nationwide Presidential race. You have shown no proof. You have lost in court over 65 times. LOST. Often thrown out for stupidity. It’s on the record. You lost in half a dozen recounts. Recounts by your own people. It’s on the record. All you did was waste taxpayer dollars as we had to foot the bill for your fuck-ups. And now you blame Biden or Clinton, not the Russians for the 2016 meddling? The Russians meddled, it’s on the record. They favored Trump, it’s on the record. But Trump tried to meddle too.

Trump election meddling began in the 2016, or at least the attempt. It’s commonly called The Stormy Daniels Hush Money Case that the prosecution opened with “This was a planned, long-running conspiracy to influence the 2016 election, to help Donald Trump get elected through illegal expenditures to silence people who had something bad to say about his behavior,” prosecutor Matthew Colangelo said. “It was election fraud, pure and simple.”
Plain and simple it twas, as the jury found him guilty, guilty, guilty. But hush money paid was not illegal. Paying Cohen’s lawyer fees not illegal. Pecker running or killing stories is not illegal. But doing all that to steal an election because you’re killing free speech: juries no like that breaking of the law. A jury returned a verdict finding that Trump caused the falsification of checks, invoices, and ledgers to conceal the payment of $130,000 to adult film actress Stormy Daniels shortly before the 2016 presidential election, with intent to conceal the violation of campaign finance and tax laws as Time reported. And to cover up some good ole spanking sexplay. Or read the case court transcripts in the raw: the spanking sex part is priceless: * chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://manhattanda.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Donald-J.-Trump-Indictment.pdf*

And now it’s not a misdemeanor, but a felony making the Don our first Felon King. On the record. Adjudicated in court, based on the evidence, by a jury of his peers. Very clever use of the law by Alvin Bragg who beat Trump a few times, in court, with the law, by the law.

That’s my evidence, its public record, adjudicated, subject to perjury laws, not propaganda and you sir, lied.

FYI: in court, Trump did not push back on the facts of the case. He is appealing, but on legal technicalities, not the facts. In court, Trump accepted the evidence and waged little defense.

As to the second case, Georgia, you are right in that Trump has not been tried or found guilty, in court. HOWEVER, his two top lawyers both pled guilty to trying to rig the 2020 election in Georgia working for Trump at his direction. Guilty, guilty, oh my God they were crying in court, guilty. Both are guilty, turned state’s evidence, were “in the room” and will, on the record, implicate Donald J. Trump as orchestrating said crimes. If I am spreading Demmie propaganda here, then it’s from two of your top lawyers, both Republicans, working for the man. Or at least, they used to be. He has a hard time keeping people employed. They all end up in jail…..

OK, wise guy, it’s been awhile since I said this, but let me repeat myself one more time for the brain dead: folks, you will rarely find me in a lie. You can say it, but you rarely will be able to prove it. If you do, it’s probably from stupidity, a misread, not malice. Spin, sure. Aggressive debate, why not? But lies —- good luck. And if you try, try hard not to look as dumb as Big A. This was really low hanging fruit for the stupid, like me, to prove a lie. Next, the usual course for funny folks like Big Al is he may divert his argument to one saying all my sources are liars, all courts Trump faces are rigged, all juries are hand-picked by liberals and fake, the court record is fabricated, and God is dead. Oye. And he blames me for propaganda. The man apparently lives on it.

            BUSTED

            Having fun yet, BA?

    • J D

That’s your side of the aisle..it’s funny as f*** that you’ve been bullied ever since you were forced to ride the short bus for being a lil lefty lunatic girly boy that you were an continue to be….. Then you come on here with that pussy name of Frank Danger telling us to “grow a pair of tits” so that we can be as much of miserable little …..little mthrfkr that you’re determined to be… So when you’re old enough vote come on back… Hohohoheeheehee Frank Danger

    • JD

P.s. You’re entire lefty lunatic rage rant proves the point of the post… NO YOU”LL NEVER LEARN.. LMAO

      • Frank danger

And yet JD can’t prove anything I said is wrong or a lie.

He just screams like a little kid. All bluster, no muster of a compelling argument besides calling me names.

I proved my point; he just spews vitriolic low brow personal attacks of the schoolyard variety.

        Weak tea. Sigh.

        • JD

Yet my President, your king is at the helm… Trump won both elections fair and square that’s what has made you the lunatic(s) you are today.. All of your conspiring, the so-called elite of the elite, smartest of the smart has gotten your dumb-ass where exactly? Here whimpering on and on while pretending you’re the victor… Victor of what?
          .
Thanks to your own stupidity you have convicted, colluded and conspired “THE HUNTER” into the OVAL OFFICE.
No compelling arguments are needed. You and your ilk have received a well earned beatdown because like on here you just don’t know how to STFU, ever.Biden is severely strong in you.

          • frank danger

Well, I asked if you could prove my lies and this is what you came up with.

To repeat: “And yet JD can’t prove anything I said is wrong or a lie. He just screams like a little kid. All bluster, no muster of a compelling argument besides calling me names. I proved my point; he just spews vitriolic low brow personal attacks of the schoolyard variety.”

And this time he laments: “All of your conspiring, the so-called elite of the elite, smartest of the smart has gotten your dumb-ass where exactly?” Ans: about three steps ahead of you in education, wealth, and probably joy although you may be blessed in happiness and joy. I sure hope so, but frankly, and for sure I am frank, based on your writing, you don’t seem very happy.

Just got back from my annual trek to show-jumping, last night was hunter class. Pretty sure that’s not the Hunter you had your delusional kvetch about. Short jumps, it was all about style, but I am guessing you are not much of an equestrian, too high brow eh….

You say I act the victor. How? You blather on about elites, getting us where? Well, I can’t speak to what I am not, but where we are is tagging him for being a sex abusing, digital rapist, who defames his victims. He’s a felon. Business cheat. Tax cheat. Twice impeached. Spanking sex devotee. Likes porn stars, playboy models, and foreign immigrant women from Central Europe or Georgia (he thought that was Europe). He stole from his University student, he ripped off his on charity, he’s a swell guy. But there is no doubt that he, and you by extension, are the winners in all that, and it was an amazing feat.

Stamina and luck seem to be his super strengths. Personally, I will take luck over skill any day of the week. Recently, I got lucky when lightning stuck 100 feet away, exploding a pretty good sized tree. The tree top was blown right into my pool piercing the 13 year old liner and draining the pool. Ten days later, I have a new liner, fence, screen, fresh water, power washed deck and walkway, all generously paid for by insurance on almost a break-even for the cost. Spent $20K, out about $1K, but have new liner, clean deck, think I got lucky in the deal. Amazingly lucky to have great help from pool guys, water guys, fence guys, insurance guys, and tree guys who even filled out the insurance papers to get the best bang for the buck. And I didn’t even think the pool was covered, much less by an act of God. But I am happy being lucky so I don’t even look. And this is on top of the power company talking down about $15K of trees just because I have been not “STFU” about it: in a nice way. Yup, I will take luck over skill any day of the week.

Doesn’t mean I have to bend a knee like you and agree to everything he does. As you can see, I don’t. And it seems that beyond baying at the moon, you cannot prove any lies in my facts, or thinking for that matter. At least without facts which you seem to avoid like the plague. As I have said before, I am here to discuss the issues, some of which is my way of figuring them all out myself. It’s too bad it seems to be a one way conversation. Unless I count the trailer-trash-talk like yours as a conversation. Seems that you are just getting your rocks off yelling at me for some strange reason.

HAGD and HAGWE. Be happy. I am.

          • JD

Settle down cupcake, your memory is shot… You are null and void. After 10 years of Trump constantly kicking your lunatics asses to the curb and down the drain,TDS is permanently seared into your brain pan. So much so that you voted for Biden the first time around, then you hopped on the Harris freight train of a wreck the second time… Those 2 things alone nullify any and all of your stats, facts, opinion and made up views.because you were duped by complete morons. You’re the perfect example of,”THERE’S A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE!”. Once again (read this slowly so that it sinks in) those two idiots made frank danger a true believer. You’ve wasted 10 years of your miserable life coming up with weak proof (all of which comes from corrupt politicians, msm(sitting exactly with you lunatics at 19% approval) ..so weak in fact despite his team being grossly underfunded going up against Biden’s regime he pulled off the greatest come back of all time. Because common sense always wins against you, the haters of America.

          • frank danger

After he gets off his nightshift at Walmart, JD says: “TDS is permanently seared into your brain pan.”

From another post: “March, 2025: MAGA Republican Resigns after Being Charged with Soliciting Sex From a Minor. Justin Eichorn was arrested the same day he tried to make “Trump Derangement Syndrome” a recognized mental illness.”

            I wonder…..hmmmmm.

One more time, and a one and a two and a: “And yet JD can’t prove anything I said is wrong or a lie. He just screams like a little kid. All bluster, no muster of a compelling argument besides calling me names. I proved my point; he just spews vitriolic low brow personal attacks of the schoolyard variety.”

To which you can blather on with all your vitriolic hateful personal attacks, but you can’t hide the truth. Even as you fire those who tell you bad news, you cannot hide the truth. The stock market is chaotic, it’s goes up and down in large swings based on the Trump putting his fingers on the market scales. Jobs are down, unemployment up, just had the largest uptick since 2021, the end of the pandemic. GDP growth is at 1.5% for the first half of the year — Biden did 3% last year. Trump’s popularity is faltering, his polling numbers are in the toilet.

Based on nine polls, Trump is at 46%; one poll has him at 41%.

People are really upset about his hiding the Epstein files.
People are really upset about his economy.
People are really upset he gave Maxwell Club Fed.
People are really upset about his secret, masked police disappearing people to death-camp gulags, without warrants, without convictions.
The Epstein victims are really upset, he has not ruled out a pardon for Maxwell.

Inflation up. Unemployment up. gdp growth down. deficit up. debt up.

  2. frank danger

“But he’s our president.” Now there’s some glowing support…..

” Biden stole the election. Not by himself of course. He’s like you. Two stupid to wipe his ass.” OK, too stupid. Had help. But apparently smart enough not to get caught by you and yours. So, you say he’s too stupid to wipe his own ass, but you are too stupid to catch him? Brilliant!!

“And aren’t you proud of Elizabeth Warren? Proves my point. Communism 101.” You have got to get off those drugs causing your delusions. Proud of Warren? She’s from Massachusetts, right? I am sorry, she’s kinda all over the place. What did she ever do to warrant your knicker knotting on this one? FYI: she’s a Democrat, you’re a failed communist hunter just like Joseph McCarthy, he got censured.

“And we the people aren’t going to allow it.” First, we are the people too. And feel free not to allow it, but you must use the law, follow the Constitution, and my favorite —- quit acting like a total butt-wad.

PROVE where I was factually wrong to say:

I think your revenge and retribution tour will top anything Democrats have done or will do. Democrats did not storm the Capitol in 2021. We never tackled, shackled, arrested, detested, or molested your Senators and Representatives in 2025. Grow a pair.

Donald J. Trump is a convicted felon you know? His lawyer went to jail, two others pled guilty to rigging the 2020 election, they turned State’s evidence. His cfo is in jail for cheating on taxes and business. Almost his entire 2016 campaign staff and much of his administration went to jail to be later pardoned for convicted crimes.

And Trump is a sex abuser if the digital rape variety.

And Trump was shown in court to be a spanking sex devotee.

    And a business cheat.

    And a tax cheat.

And he tried to rig the 2016 and 2020 elections, convicted on the 2016.

And Trump pardons pedo’s, drug dealers, cop beaters, etc. All types of criminals. A large number of Trump pardons have already been arrested again. On Trump’s watch.

He not only let the 1/6ers go, he let then off the hook for restoring the building letting us taxpayers clean up their shit. Literally. That’s a policy this author loves no doubt. As Wille’s “we da peoples” line up to pay to clean up there damage, shit, and piss, all on Wille’s peoples dime. But snap benefits — woo, got to cut me some of those, eh Trumpy.

Only took how many dead in Texas to rehire the weather guy(s)??? Fuckin Sharpie couldn’t change those facts.

And Trump was, at one time, Epstein’s best friend who is hiding the list, hiding the files, while secretly giving sanctuary to Epstein’s groomer of girls right after a serious two-day secret “talkin too.” Little 8th grade girls were groomed by this most evil of criminals. Trump thinks leniency for some secret reason. Do Willie and the author support this grooming, this abuse, of little girls?

Yes, there is no there there for those blind to the truth, willing to sell their soul for the win.

I am a frank danger to folks like that. And unlike Superman, I wear my undies UNDER my pants……Willie’s are always knotted. Or so it seems. Or so it goes.

  3. PB

Dunger, why do you have to repeat, repeat and repeat every time you try to open your mind? I am with Larry. He put out the truth. You did lie. BUT YOU prove Trump is a criminal. You do the work. Don’t make others do the work for you. Are you lazy? Or are you deranged? Trump did some amazing, wonderful things and is still doing that. Have you checked Trump’s bloodline? You will be shocked to find out who he is ancestrally related to which is beautiful and who his real father is. I am not going to tell you. Figure it out for your lazy self. All your rants above say you think Larry lied. Nope! You did. You are outnumbered fair and square. You seem to only want to believe Trump is a criminal. Why try so hard to make him a criminal? I have never seen nor heard of anyone that wants a person to be a criminal. His convictions are coming down. His impeachments are being erased. He is not perfect but then, neither are any of us. We are human. Can’t you ever say anything nice? I agree that there is no proof of election meddling from Trump, period. Fake Joe Biden said on tv that he and the Democrats put together the greatest election fraud ever done. I don’t remember the exact words, but that’s what he meant. So, for all of our sakes, try to be nice from now on, in God’s name.

    • Willie

Dunger is too busy posting lies and propaganda

      • Frank danger

Willie. Prove a lie. You can’t. Just useless hot air.

  4. AC

Larry is absent from the open forum undemocratic space provided by PBP it not respected by conservative opinion holders. Respect is a two way proposition. However in Trump dominated America Republicans demand respect on the strength of their view that they somehow have earned respect. After all winning the majority in Congress and the Executive Branch is grounds for blanket respect.
Hey you people on the right. Respect can be had for the office of the President, but not for person who occupies that office at any given time.I do respect an individual even when I don’t respect their ideology. Ideological differences that become personal until ideological wars turn into nasty exchanges of hate speech and retribution.
When personal ideology and personal identity are inseparable and personal humanity becomes discarded and replaced by vindictive intolerance. Then respect for others as people has vanished and social chaos results. An absence of respect for others as persons other than for persons with the conservative right perspective. Happens to be thee expected norm on PBP’s copy. Opinion commentators and conservation readers’ reply comments show undemocratic disregard toward persons with a differing point of view.
Trump is exhibit #1 for one who personifies the character who generally has disrespect and specific animus for individuals with differing opinions.Larry in his PBP commentaries shows no separation between ideology unworthiness and an individual’s lack of intellectual integrity. Any semblance of respect is absent in Larry’s opinion toward persons assumed oppositional. One who professes no ill regard for others, lack of hatred, and negative bias toward others is nonetheless deserving of respect. Even President Trump, as disagreeable a soul as he is in my view. In his humanness he is warranted respect, if in no other.
Because Larry’s commentaries give an alternate perspective to those that resonate with my world view, My mind dictates that Larry’s opinion commentary content gives the gist of how the intentional conservative’s thinking diverges from the views that comprise my comfort level.
In his current comments, on the one hand he follows his path most often taken when he is into disparaging the Dem left. Still Larry is of a mind that believes Trump has made positive contributions to governing our nation on the road to Greatness. On these matters Larry believes left is in agreement with the right, the left needs to let the right hear some bipartisan unity. The absolute reality that the right can not see is so strikingly apparent for objectively minded critical thinkers. Trump 2.0 in its entirety from January 20 to the present time, I do not recall a single thing espoused by Trump had any merit or practical worth that might elicit a positive response from anyone who is sensibly convinced in the moderate to liberal left oriented ideology. Trump consistently produced Executive Orders with radically unconstitutional and patently illegal undemocratic edicts that controvert the letter and spirit contained in the U.S. constitution.
Trump is a symptom of our society’s sick and perverted notions about scientific achievements, experts contributions to modern thought and fact base. Republicans denial of reality reinforced by opportunistic
Trump’s grab for more power over his presumed enemies in this country and his empowering this country’s historic enemies combined with his attraction for authoritarian regime leaders has made him an ineffectual leader and his own worst nightmare. Preoccupied with his impression of himself as POTUS when POTUS doesn’t carry the significance it once achieved before his bad behavior at home and away eroded the standing earned by former American Chief Executives. His past haunts him as world leaders size him up while listening to him ramble on about things inconsequential and irrelevant to men who will rule long after his brief term as POTUS.
When you, Larry, expect the Dems’ approval as long as Trump’s RepublicansFar Party hold the majority. The man-boy Trump had better make a 180 Degree flip that has him facing reality in its eyes and comprehend what it’s saying. Until that time and his old alternate reality is all he sees. Don’t look for the left’s agreement with Trump’s self indulgent fantasyland aspirations.
Don’t you see his intentions are centered on his own accumulation of wealth by any means possible while he is still president and his minions fear his wrath and do his bidding.. Not one of them is moral, ethical, competent, or stable.
I don’t kid myself into believing you read any of my opinion. We’re even on that score. I check to see if you wrote something. Whether you’re alive and kicking out commentary. Personally, I don’t give a scratch what you say in your opinion. It will never change as you have not changed your outlook. It’s simple, you are lost in hate for the left, especially hot is the hate inside you towards individual Dems who have become wealthy pundits and revered writers. While you have not achieved that lofty status. You suffer from should have been regret.

All are YES MEN AND WOMEN. Each one is thinking, what’s in it for me.

Frank Danger correctly assesses Trump as a threat to America sustaining her Great qualities. Trump is a threat to and has greatly diminished America in the eyes of the world and in the minds of world the leaders, democratic and authoritarian. When was an American President so disrespected by his peers around the world? His trip to the Near East nations netted no benefit for Americans. Trump proved his attention centered on lining his own pockets. Terri be seen whether anything comes of the land deals he reportedly struck. Or if the investment promised from eastern potentates comes to fruition.
His Press Secretary touts Trumps talks with the principals of warning nations resulted in peace deal. She’s not accurate on her facts. Trump didn’t initiate and close peace deals with anyone. Just like his meeting with Putin on Friday is a farce that will come to nothing that appears like a just peace for Ukraine, Russia, Ukraine’s partners in the EU, and among Americans who care. Aside from Putin’s Russia and Trump personally, the rest of the world fears what Putin and Trump are upto. Neither man is trustworthy, both don’t care if Zelensky, Ukraine and its partners are disadvantaged and suffer loss with what is decided. If Trump gives away the farm meeting Putin’s demands there will be no peace settlement, no end to Ukraine’s suffering, and Trump will not find a “W” this week with Putin. Putin is not quitting his push to seize all of Ukraine for Mother Russia.
Trump can’t believe he can stop Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, but he has deluded himself and Republicans generally. The evidence sits like a mountain of bad deals and faulty assumptions.on his legacy. Each of his sharpy signed Executive Orders are illegal, unconstitutional, and undemocratic examples of Trump’s corrupt intent and power grab policies.
Larry, his GOP, R-Representatives, Trump’s Administration, and his wealthy enablers are all guilty of Trump’s sins against America’s democracy and their fellow Americans. Why are the lot of them so blind that they can’t see what is falling down all around us all. In a a word it’s POWER, political, economic, wealth and control. Absolute power they crave and gloat over corrupt absolutely. There’s truth in that statement. Just look at Trump himself. His corrupt lust for wealth and POWER at all costs has driven him further into his particular depth of insanity. Anyone with the slightest amount perceptive reality must recognize Trump’s behavior is highly irregular for someone with POTUS responsibilities. Irregular is a kind description of Trump. He has devolved into Hiter like insanity.
That may appear a strong characterization of the man known as Trump. Bur, if anyone else in his position did just a single one of Trump’s bad acts on the job. Immunity from SCOTUS couldn’t save him from public condemnation and forced removal from office.
You who look the other way when his transgressions are so blatant and egregious and yet give him a pass because he’s Trump. Your attitude has enabled him into tearing apart a nation that has taken 250 years in its building and progress in every field or discipline imaginable.
I ascribe to neither party’s ideology, philosophy, or particular identity. It is, then, with a mind free of political bias and as much reality based objectivity as can one muster in our current politically charged environment, that My opinion is drawn.
PBP is hardly a welcoming place for an apolitical philosophy minded individual to willingly express a perspective very much unlike that of PBP’s target audience. I the past, when my opinion appeared here it received no respect from other readers, no surprise there. For the most part, it received just crickets. Gotta love them crickets.
Since, America still is a democracy and free speech remains the law across the land. I respect the right of those who disagree that they may express themself as they see fit. Larry certainly has before he was ill and became absent on PBP except for his particular view expressed in his commentaries.
On the point of views expressed in Reply. It appears the only voice heard in opposition to the conservative’s choir has been Frank Danger. It’s clear that Danger is still not receiving the respect due him. No change there, because like Trump will be Trump, PBP will be PBP.
