Conservatives Left Duped and Angry over Failed Release of Epstein Files
The expectations of conservatives to see the hidden names in the Jeffrey Epstein files came down in a blow to the reputation of Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday after it released information already known to the public. Attorney General (AG) Pam Bondi, who promised to release the files, is taking heat from disappointed conservatives while she herself has blamed the FBI for withholding the files that she ordered to be released.
Popular conservative influencer Laura Loomer expressed her utter disappointment with the failure of the DOJ to release the names of Epstein’s pedophile clients and the documented evidence showing their crimes. She placed the blame squarely on AG Bondi for the failure, calling her a total liar, and demanded her resignation.

Loomer has since come under attack from many MAGA supporters who feel that Bondi is not responsible for the failure and Loomer is overreacting, which is leading to a rift in the MAGA movement. Loomer has stood her grounds and been supported by many conservatives who agree with her.
As the backlash flared up on social media and conservatives shows, AG Bondi expressed her own disappointed at the limited release of the files and blamed the FBI branch office in New York for withholding the documents. One America News (OAN) cited Bondi from her letter to newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel:
“Late yesterday, I learned from a source that the FBI Field Office in New York was in possession of thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein.” Clint Russell posted a clip of Fox News anchor Jesse Watters commenting on the failed release of the files and how AG Bondi is claiming that she feels duped just like the conservatives eager to see the files do. Russell wrote that he wouldn’t call for Bondi’s resignation right off but that she better send a SWAT team to the FBI Field building in NY first thing in the morning and seize everything they have possessed, or else resign.
Benny Johnson posted to his X page Bondi’s letter to Patel wherein she wants the FBI to deliver all the Epstein files to her office by 8 am on Friday morning, not withholding anything and not limiting her or Patel’s access to the material.

A day before the release of the already-known Epstein files that created the uproar among conservatives, Clayton and Natalie Morris interviewed FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle, who reported that FBI employees have been destroying evidence on servers and part of this evidence is related to Epstein’s crimes. Clayton reminded the audiences that Epstein himself was an FBI informant with connections to Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.
The Gateway Pundit (February 28) included an X post by Kyle Becker reminding that the lead prosecutor in the Epstein trials is former FBI Director James Comey’s daughter Maureen Comey, who is currently the US Attorney prosecuting the Diddy trial – another high-profile sex trafficking scandals reportedly with underage victims.
As of Friday morning, conservatives are impatiently awaiting an update on the full release of all the Epstein files.
I can not believe anyone thought there would be damaging information in the Epstein Files.
This is a man in a jail cell with cameras on him, and guards posted to keep him safe.
They let someone in the cell to KILL HIM!
And people thought a simple file on him would not be compromised?
That information was removed before he entered a Cell!
