It Ain’t 2024 Yet

Ostensibly, the Committee is supposed to discover the people behind the Democrats’ alleged insurrection.  Although they talk a lot about President Trump and his advisors and supporters, the real target is the entire Republican Party.  Democrats hope to slander the GOP with enough malicious propaganda to shame voters into switching their votes to the donkey party – or to at least stay home and not vote at all.

The scheme is very clear.  Create Trump as a threat to the Republic, and – by extension – so is every Republican running for every office in every state.  It is a strategy of desperation.

Democrats and the left-leaning media seem to believe that tying Trump to the 2022 midterms is the only way they can effectively scare voters with their sky-is-falling strategy. That is why Democrats and their media allies are tying Trump to the 2022 elections even though he is not on the ballot.

Near the beginning of this year, I wrote a commentary predicting that the Democrats and media would be increasingly outrageous as the 2022 midterms near.  I hate to be an I-told-you-so (actually, I don’t), but the extent of their outrageous behavior surpasses my darkest predictions.

Amazingly, the American people seem to see through the mendacious narratives and media propaganda.  No matter how hard the Democrats and the left pounds on the GOP, the polling continues favoring a return to power – even limited – in the 2022 November election.  No matter how hard the left tries to make Trump the deranged architect of chaos and sedition, the preference of the people will not allow whatever Trump’s misdeeds may be to be smeared over the entire GOP.

It must be maddening to the left to see polls that show President Biden with a lower popularity rating than the much-hated Trump – even though the comparison takes place at the nadir of public popularity for both of them.

While the left-wing media praises the work of the Select Committee – which is at the fore of congressional action in the minds of the people – polls show Americans hold the institution in contempt.

The time to conjecture over the 2024 presidential election is after the dust settles on the 2022 midterm election.  All this talk about Trump, Biden, and other potential contenders is a distraction – and nothing more.

Despite efforts to make 2022 all about the more distant 2024 election, it appears that the voters can not only see the difference, but they can see the skullduggery of those on the left.

This ain’t 2024 – and the voters understand that even if the Democrats in Washington do not.

So, there ‘tis.

Judging from the Democrats’ political obsession – and the media’s excessive coverage – you would think that we are on the cusp of the 2024 presidential election rather than the 2022 midterm elections.  The hottest issue on the news – other than that increasingly tiresome Select Committee pretending to be doing a real investigation of the January 6, 2021, riot on Capitol Hill – is the 2024 election.

The purpose is obvious, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has used (abused) her power to create a one-sided tribunal to influence the 2022 midterm elections.  The Committee has no power to indict, try, convict or sentence anyone.  It is purely a political function played out with all the bias and unfairness the left-wing media can produce.

I do not think Americans are being fooled at all. Most Americans want to know the truth and feel we are closer to it now than we would have been by listening to Trump and the GOP big lie. Most Americans are fully capable to separate issues today such as economy, gas prices, recession possibilities, inflation, from Trump and what happened in 2020. This is why you see GOP leading Dems – its because of the issues and most Americans feel GOP handles those kinds of issues better. It has nothing to do with wanting Trump back. Most Americans can see from the televised hearings that Trump had good inner circle people such as Ivanka, Jared, Barr, Malveney and others telling him the election was over and that it was not stolen and that he needed to concede. Most Americans can see that there were a few bad actors like Rudy Giuliani, Bannon, and perhaps a few other despicable. A slim majority of Americans hope Trump does not run again, and that includes me. But I do hope a capable GOP person like Barr, or DeSantis, or other will rise to the occasion so that we do not have four more years of radical left policy. What will hurt the GOP, and the polls show it, is if they campaign on the big lie. Most Americans want to know the truth and move on and not get a big lie pounded into them constantly like some GOP members try to do. Remember, Independents are the largest voting block, On December 17, 2020, Gallup polling found that 31% of Americans identified as Democrats, 25% identified as Republican, and 41% as Independent. We will be the deciders of the next POTUS. And we are far more capable than your negatively biased comments about Americans imply. We are not being fooled by GOP big lies or TV theatrics. We know how to sort it out.

The election was stolen you idiot And some republicans helped cover it up.

      • Ben

        Damn those cheatin republicans.

And the lying ones at the select committee.

        And cheney’s daughter.

        And ivanka.

        And jerod.

Or maybe racist Ben is delusional?

Actually, the one who is the idiot is the one who believes the lie even after many investigations came up empty handed according to Barr. The idiot is the one who puts aside reality and chooses to believe a lie.

What a silly story Larry. The only part you got right is that there is no need to write such a story until after the midterms of 2022. But you wrote it anyway and blame the Democrats of the same.

Can you say “pot kettle? “
