Does Obama Love America?
Many American, Democrats and Republicans alike, have begun questioning whether or not President Obama truly loves America. Now in his 6th year of presidency, there is no doubt about Obama’s popularity and love for certain aspects of America. President Obama does love American golf courses, clocking in an impressive 220 rounds of golf since becoming president, and he seems to love hosting celebrities at the White House. Despite the obvious affection Obama receives from the celebrity class, his recent comparison between historic Christian atrocities and the actions of ISIS against Americans has caused many to question whether Hollywood is the only America President Obama loves.

Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani brought up the name of President Barack Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. Mr Davis, a key influence of a young Barack Obama, was a member of the United States Communist Party and a suspected Soviet espionage Agent. In the President’s Auto-biography, Mr. Davis is mentioned throughout, leading many to ask how profound this Communist’s influence has been for the Commander and Chief. Obama eventually left his mentor to attend college and, by his own admission, would attend socialist conferences and pick Marxist professors as his friends. In a country where so many have served in Vietnam and Korea, fighting to stop the spread of communism, a Marxist influenced president still makes many uneasy.

To deflect criticism of radical Islam, President Obama brought up slavery in the United States. Slavery in America ended 150 years ago, yet Barack Obama invoked it to draw equivalence between the United States and ISIS, a group actively enslaving human beings. The president went on to instruct Americans to “not got on their high horse” and to remember the evils of the Crusades. The whole of Christian America now wonders why their President spends more time insulting their religion than defending Christian lives at home and abroad. In 2008, Barack Obama campaigned on the idea of “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Critic and allies of this administration can assert the success of this campaign promise.
