Planned Parenthood hits the fan, second video released, Liberals in denial

A second undercover video from the Center for Medical Progress of Planned Parenthood shows officials talking about selling human body parts.  The video leads with Cecile Richards, CEO of Planned Parenthood, stating the organization does not profit from the sale of body parts.  

The rest of the interview is of Dr. Mary Gatter, President of the Plannned Parenthood Medical Director’s Council.  In direct contradiction to Cecile Richards, she talks about how compensation for fetal tissue works and is coaxed into haggling on price with the undercover “buyer.”

Like the last video, this one is gruesome in its callousness, Dr. Gatter talks frankly about “less crunchy” techniques and such, so it is not for the faint of heart.

So far eight states have launched an investigation into Planned Parenthoods practices of selling body parts.  These include Kansas, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, Ohio, Indiana and Missouri.  Calls for investigations are looming in other states as well.   Rand Paul has already sworn to defund and shut down Planned Parenthood which has received over $528.4 million of federal funding each year.

In the mean time, several Liberal politicians have attemtped to defend the organization. Senator Harry Reid accused the videos of being politically motivated and denies any federal laws were broken.  Congressman Nancy Pelosi called the videos a “misrepresentation.”

Mainstream media also does not seem to have caught on.  MSNBC decided to work on Planned Parenthood’s behalf with the following quote from one of their journalists: “Planned Parenthood, under fire for a heavily-edited video suggesting the organization violated federal law in facilitating the donation of fetal tissue, says it believes future videos may make racially-charged claims.” The health provider and advocacy group also says the anti-abortion group posing as a medical research procurement company may have had access to the inside of its clinics, jeopardizing “our patients’ privacy and dignity.”

Author’s note:   The reaction of this (or rather lack of reaction) in mainstrem media is appalling, especially given the fact that eight states are now investigating. This reminds me of the old KGB motto: “Admit nothing, deny everything, make counter accusations.”  It appears to this author the videos contain blatant admissions of violations of federal laws by senior Planned Parenthood officials.  

This is a perfect example of how the “unbiased” mainstream media is so far to the left it can ignore such ghoulish behavior and blatant and admitted violations of laws.
