Donald Trump for President, the right people are horrified

Donald Trump announced he is running for President for the 2016 elections, throwing a monkey wrench into the process.   Certain parties are horrified, but in our opinion the right parties.   A quote from his announcement speech:

“Our country is in serious trouble. We don’t have victories anymore. We used to have victories, but we don’t have them. When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let’s say, China in a trade deal? They kill us. I beat China all the time. All the time.”

Yes the Chinese and our other Asian trading partners are horrified.  You can look for them to try to complete Obama’s Pacific Rim trade agreement as soon as possible, because Obama is desperate to make his mark, and the concessions will be immense.   The specter of a potential President Trump means no more rolling over America in these kinds of agreements.

Who else is horrified?  Politicians support Obamacare, certainly, as Trump said in his announcement “Obamacare kicks in in 2016. Really big league. It is going to be amazingly destructive. Doctors are quitting.

And of course the media is also petrified by Trump’s announcement.  According to the Washington Post (for you who don’t know, it’s a very prominent and highly liberal Washington newspaper):

“People like Sen. Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee and everyone else on that debate stage will be playing by one set of rules, Trump will be playing by another. Or, more accurately: Trump won’t be playing by any rules.”

According to some sources, Trump can bring resources totaling $9 Billion to this fight.   While the PunchingBagPost stops short of endorsing Mr. Trump at this time, this author notes how refreshing it would be to have a President who is competent, understands such basic concepts as economics and free enterprise, who is a beast in negotiations and who understands the consequences of negotiating badly.
