Detention Centers for Mass Deportation Expected as Dems Vow to Shield Illegal Aliens

In the wake of their historic electoral defeat earlier this month, Democrats are rushing to shield illegal aliens from the mass deportations promised by President Trump when he takes the Oval Office in January. The Trump administration is expected to create new detention facilities near large liberal cities where illegal aliens tend to flock and get benefits from the blue states and like-minded groups.

On Wednesday (November 13), The Western Journal cited a report by NBC News that informs of a Trump administration plan to place detention centers near sanctuary cities so that illegal aliens captured and processed for deportation could be held in them temporarily before being put on planes for removal from the country. Without naming them, NBC cited sources familiar with the incoming administration’s plan.

While it is not known at this time what areas of cities the plan has specifically included for the creation of the planned detention centers, the sources told NBC that the Trump administration is going to double the existing capacity of the detention centers.

Stephen Miller, Trump’s would-be White House deputy chief of staff for policy, has reportedly said that National Guards could be ordered to assist in the deportations. In his words, “President Trump will do whatever it takes.”

Liberals, still shaken to their core from Trump’s victory, are reacting to the re-elected president’s deportation plans. Just a day after Trump won the election in a landslide, Massachusetts’ Democrat Governor Maura Healey put out a public statement that police in her state would not cooperate in mass deportations. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker dared Trump to come after the illegal immigrants in his state. He was cited by The Daily Signal as:

“You come for my people, you come through me.”

On November 7, California’s Governor Gavin Newsom called a special session of the Legislature to “protect California values” one of which was “support immigrant families, and is investing in their protection.”

Some democrats in local governments within red states are also coming out with vows to shield illegal aliens against Trump’s mass deportation. USA Today reported on November 13 that Kate Gallego, the Mayor of Phoenix (AZ), has affirmed her determination to not allow the local police to assist in mass deportation efforts of the Trump administration. Texas State Senator Roland Gutierrez posted a video message to X on November 13 telling Trump to shove his plans for deportation of those who come here for labor and support the country’s economy.

But not all Democrat officials are united in fighting Trump and protecting illegal aliens. One prominent Democrat, who has been targeted by his own party recently, seems to welcome part of Trump’s deportation plan. Mayor Eric Adams of New York City, who has spoken up more than once against his party’s policy on shielding criminal migrants, said at press conference on Tuesday (November 12) that he likes the idea of removing those illegals from the city who are involved in crimes. Adams has, however, stated that he doesn’t agree with the mass deportations of asylum-seekers.

If 100% of federal support stops, what will happen? Hotels will evict non-paying “guests”. Phone companies turn off service. SNAP and other federal food programs end. Prepaid debit cards don’t work. Medical care–short of life-threatening injuries–stops. Free transportation stops. At that point, big talking governors and mayors are faced with the costs of supporting the illegals, which according to the CBO is around $100,000 a year each. See how the citizens of those states and cities feel about illegals when their taxes are being used to support them.

Then the new administration offers transportation ONLY to home country or Mexico. How many will self-deport when the welfare ends?

Yes and probably no need for National guard if only laws were enforced and those obstructing the law were arrested. No work then they would go home.

      • Feank Danger

Spot on Mark; For years, I have note e-verify makes it almost impossible for the undocumented to work. No work, they will leave. No work, they won’t come.

Been in both parties prospective laws, never passed. It’s both parties fault.

Willy: phone companies need federal support? Weird. SNAP is just for immigrant kids; you really want to starve kids? They all get emergency care today. You suggest no change there which is good since you advocate starving kids. They don’t get transportation today.

Not sure the $100k. seems high as if contributions not included. Such as social security they have taxed off paychecks but will never collect, you will collect it by stealing it. By law. They pay sales tax, gas tax, school tax and more. Do you have link? Since I think CBO is a Jouse function. I question the current math. Love to check. I saw their emergency care $$$ and it was through the roof. I bet yours includes that.

On the detention centers. let’s use Trump hotels, golf courses, and MaL.

Get Federal Arrest Warrants for those that obstruct the deportation process!!! Use US Marshalls to carry out the arrests!! Fine them $1 million each so they have a hard time getting bail. If they again interfere, arrest and hold them until a later court date. Feed them Bologna sandwiches while in jail, general circulation with all the others!!!

Envision an assignment that has you attempting to identify, locate, capture, transport, temporarily house, feed, keep healthy, and release outside of US borders. If the objective of your assignment happened to have an unknown number of African elephants, which are known to be widely dispersed across this country. How would you accomplish your assigned task?
Given this assignment has political partisan ramifications. The U.S. President mandated that certain African elephants be separated out from this country’s expanding elephant population.
Ignoring the saying about “The elephant(s) in the room. The President is hell bent determined that these elephants are in our country illegally and must be gathered into holding facilities for transport outside the country.
Apparently, he has attached the highest priority to this assignment’s objective . That its undetermined total cost, estimated in the billions of dollars in taxpayers’ funds will increase the national debt by trillions does not seem to be a consideration. Is this another of Trump’s policies where he believed the ends justify the means? Does he not see the fiscally irresponsible , morally bankrupt, ethically deceitful, and antithetical to the fundamentals this country has thrived on. The term hypocrisy is even too weak a word for this atrocious proposed action.
The balance of power between each branch of the government is found enumerated in law with the U.S. Constitution’s articles. The three branches’ duties and responsibilities get defined so each will not become unjustly intertwined with one other branch
Trump’s immigration deportation policy is dead in the water without Congress’ approval and its allocation of funds.
Those Seeing reality of failure in the time when Trump’s unrealistic expectations for our southern boarder’s security being solved with The Wall he planned and said Mexico would pay its cost, it’s many faults he will not admit. However, as adamant as he was pushing his “build the wall” pipe dream, he sounds more determined with his following that scheme with his mass deportation scenario.
In this poorly conceived notion he wants more persons getting removed from U.S. soil as soon as possible than Germany had moved into the camps during the years prior to and included in WWII.
Hitler’s generals moved an estimated 8-10 million Jewish souls from home and community because of racial prejudice. His autocratic spirit influenced how Germans felt toward their Jewish countrymen, women, and children. Hitler’s rally speeches summoned an appeal to emotions that encouraged crowd mentality in acts of brutality.
If fellow Americans are moved by Trump’s call and obey in your passing on propaganda prejudices and turn a blind eye to injustice, then the “me first” mentality brings on a twisted perception that partisan loyalty surpasses national patriotism.
Fly the American flag from your front yard but still bully and disrespect those who dare to put out their Harris/Walz yard signs.
Should Trump while president spearhead an effort that proposed Mass deportation of migrants by 10’s in millions of individuals and Congress awards funds for that effort. All Americans will be picking up Trump’s tab for ordering an atrocity not unlike the German Hitler and his hate driven insanity against German Jews.
I understand there are dissimilarities between what happened to Jews under Hitler’s boot and what is happening to people who came into country at our boarder with Mexico. The similarity we must not lose sight of is the humanity factors shared in common.
Due diligence in context when making conclusive judgement on anyone. Feel for the person first before leaping to politics.
Trump’s migration boondoggle is of so great in its proportion that if he does just 1/4 of all he currently proposes he will have sunk our country to Third World morality, into financial
and ethical bankruptcy, and run our democracy into demagogy. It has taken 25O years of fighting against haters of our liberal democratic government’s achievement. Why allow a 4 year stint with Trump as acting President tear away any portion of our democracy’s colorful fabric. He has not won by a popular vote landslide. Just in single digits percent past 50% majority does not make a landslide mandate. Pundits flip between Popular and Electoral College numbers using the ones that make their prophecies come closest.
Trump uses hyperbole to describe his win, his crowd size, his intellectual prowess and his net worth (tax free). It’s wise when Trump speaks that whatever he says requires more than a pinch of salt. His tall tales need toms of salt, making his verbal fare inedible and gross.
