The FBI Goes Into High Gear on the Clinton Foundation – It's Criminal Activity Is a 'High Priority'

FBI’s Investigation into the Clinton Foundation has been ongoing for the last year and is a “very high priority” for the bureau, according to sources.

Fox News anchor Brett Baier reported that the FBI’s white collar crime and public corruption division is leading the investigation and is looking for a pay-to-play connection between the former Secretary of State and the Clinton Foundation.

Recent WikiLeaks revelations exposed the Clinton pay-to-play practices, but the FBI agents have compiled even more evidence prior to these and are collecting new documents every day.

“There is an avalanche of new information coming in every day,” said the source to Fox News.

The source said the agents are “actively and aggressively pursuing this case,” which involves interviewing the same people multiple times.

While that investigation is still going on, the FBI has reopened the former investigation into Clinton’s email server.

The case was “closed,” until new evidence was found from another investigation into the former Rep. Anthony Weiners. Thousands of emails from Human Adebin, Clinton’s top aide and Weiner’s estranged wife, have been added to the investigation. Many of which are new emails that the FBI has yet to comb through.

If any of Clinton’s aides are caught in lies from these newly discovered emails, then their immunity could get taken off the table.

“I think it shouldn’t be surprising to us that the Clinton Foundation has been the subject of investigation,” said the former assistant U.S. attorney Andrew C. McCarthy.

McCarthy also pointed out how it’s not surprising that Obama isn’t mentioning the case.

“I think if I were the president and I had communicated with Mrs. Clinton some 18 times using an alias over a non-secure e-mail system and then looked the American people in the eye and said that I didn’t even know that she had private email or she used private email, I would really stop talking about this case,” said McCarthy.

Obama and the Justice Department have openly disapproved of the FBI’s decision to reopen the case on Clinton’s email server. Obama referred to Clinton’s illegal activities as an” honest mistake.”

Hopefully, the FBI is able to ignore the tremendous pressure from Obama and the DNC and report on findings appropriately. But it’s likely the bureau is seen as an enemy by many of these groups with these open Clinton investigations and will be forced to walk on eggshells.
