Rosie and Jeffrey drag press into tabloid journalism
Rosie O’Donnell moved out of America, and Jeffrey Epstein moved out of this world—permanently. In her latest spat with President Trump, Rosie linked the two stories by gratuitously attaching a photo of Trump and Epstein to her digital hit piece.
The only common thread between Rosie and Jeffrey is that both stories are old news, uninteresting, and relatively meaningless in terms of the issues of the day. They are the grist for tabloid journalism. Individually, neither story is worthy of major attention, and together they are less than the sum of their parts. Combined, they are like mixing stale bread with flat soda. Tabloid gold? Perhaps. Meaningful news? Not quite.
The Epstein Story
Jeffrey Epstein was a vile sexual predator who somehow turned depravity into an elite networking tool. He was arrested, jailed, and conveniently moved on to the great unknown—most likely by his own hand (though the conspiratorial crowd insists otherwise). Nothing fuels a conspiracy quite like sex and the death of a wealthy man. Add an “exclusive guest list” of celebrity sleepovers and voilà—an instant thriller with poor lighting and an implausible plot. More Hollywood noir than legitimate news.
Then there was “the list.” Trump did not release it during his first term. Biden gave it a pass during his four years in office. Conspiratorial extremists were left to draw their own conclusions with crayons. Folks who knew nothing claimed to know everything. Trump promised to reveal it during his campaign, only to have Attorney General Pam Bondi emerge from the file room to declare, “There is no list.” It was never a thing. Also, Epstein really did kill himself.
Some in the MAGA crowd went into instant meltdown. Years of Reddit threads and hand-crafted memes were obliterated. Some claimed it fractured the MAGA movement. I doubt it. A few loud voices hyperventilating online do not constitute a critical mass. Unless someone uncovers real evidence that Trump engaged in illegal activities with Epstein and an underage girl, this story is as dead as … Epstein.
The Rosie Story
Now, onto Rosie—America’s self-exiled megaphone of angst. She comes across as an angry and bitter has-been. One would expect the media to ignore her and let her stew in her own toxicity. But no—she is somehow still headline material. Who actually cares? Apparently, just enough people with The Star and National Enquirer subscriptions and a taste for conspiracy blogs to keep the feud alive.
Rosie and Trump have been flinging mud at each other for so long, it has practically become a seasonal sport. She is offended. He is outraged. He threatens to revoke her citizenship. He cannot do that—and will not. Most people know that Trump never misses a chance to toss verbal grenades. It is his style—one that I have criticized in previous commentaries. Her only tactic is throwing shade and waiting to see if Trump responds. Unfortunately, he always does. And just like that, she returns to the spotlight, basking in the glow of his outrage.
Her social media reads like the rants of a plaintiff in a nasty divorce — with Wi-Fi and far too much Chardonnay. Petty but grudgingly creative. The photo of Trump and Epstein? That is not commentary. It is pathetic Internet trolling.
Rosie’s latest role seems to be that of professional victim. A Woman? Boo hoo. A Lesbian? Boo hoo. Exile in Europe? Boo hoo. And this from a lady with a reported net worth of $80 million. She lives as proof of the old adage that money does not convey happiness.
I understand that this kind of drama sells. That is why The Star, National Enquirer, and the occasional doomsday YouTuber rake in views. What baffles me is why mainstream media dips into this kiddie pool of journalism nonsense.
Put Epstein and Rosie together, and you have a Shakespearean tragedy written in glitter pen—A Tale of Two Pities. President Trump has better things to do, and Rosie O’Donnell ought to find some — or seek therapy.
Yes, I have wasted my morning reflecting on stories that belong in the tabloids—or better yet, the recycle bin. Not because I care about Donald versus Rosie, but because serious news outlets continue to place this garbage on their front burners.
So, there it is.

It’s all Rosie and Jeffrey causing this? For over five years, Trump and the rest of them have made hay with this conspiracy. Tis their party. Why is it that the author is so into Trump that he can only see the story from Trump’s eyes? What has happened to his objective, critical, stance seemingly replaced by blind sycophantism.
On Epstein, he concludes:
1. The only common thread between Rosie and Jeffrey is that both stories are old news, uninteresting, and relatively meaningless in terms of the issues of the day
2. They are the grist for tabloid journalism.
3. Trump promised to reveal it during his campaign, only to have Attorney General Pam Bondi emerge from the file room to declare, “There is no list.” It was never a thing. Also, Epstein really did kill himself.
4. Unless someone uncovers real evidence that Trump engaged in illegal activities with Epstein and an underage girl, this story is as dead as … Epstein.
5. What baffles me is why mainstream media dips into this kiddie pool of journalism nonsense.
Some quick retorts:
1. According to the press, the people, these issues DO have meaning that the author tries unconvincingly to sweep under the carpet because Trump told him to. And it’s bipartisan.
2. Damn straight, and now prime time news, from MSM and the ragged right as well
3. Damn straight as well, and if you looked at the in the full light of day, logically, honestly, you too would have a “thing” with it. Bondi either lied about having the list or Bondi lied by saying there is no list now. It was on her fracking desk, she said.
4. Gee, maybe if one released the Epstein files that could happen. But I agree, it will go nowhere for anyone.
5. Really? Have you read PBP? Do you read your own stuff? How about this article about Rosie Who?
My version: First, I agree it’s humorous watching Jeffries, pundits, the press, on the left pillaring Trump and company over something they did not release, they don’t care about. Of course, the left, including Biden, never promised to release the data that I know of. TRUMP, BONDI, PATEL, and others promised to; therein lies the rub. In his blind servitude, the author misses the issue; if they promised to release it, and they don’t, then what’s the problem?
– If there’s no there, there, then why not release (the author cannot grasp that concept apparently)
– If there’s a there there, gee, could it be Trump? Can’t we see he’s not there?
– What’s the issue with outing a few “gentlemen?” Are they rich? Did they contribute to Obama, Biden, or Trump?
– Bondi (and Trump) said there is a list. Said the list was on her desk? Now it does not exist. Gee, the author has no issue with Bondi either being a liar, protecting these ass-wipes, or both. She’s dirty and the author applauds her. What else does he support that makes no sense like this?
– On its face, the Epstein story suggests many of these kinds of questions — about the source of his interplanetary-seeming wealth, about the possibility of high-stakes blackmail, about those whispered connections to Israeli intelligence, British intelligence, American intelligence. But it also belongs to another paranoid tradition, in which those epicycles of analysis don’t demystify so much as re-mystify, layering over legible facts with something foggier and more darkly
– But the biggest one, the door opened by Trump himself is that the Files that don’t exist have been tampered with by Biden. Also, by Comey. Also, by Obama. He needs desperately to prove that or STFU and quit lying. Which he is. No way does he know that Biden, Comey, AND Obama trifled with the files that Bodi says were on her desk that don’t exist today. I am sorry Larry, but how can you miss that? How can you drop that? Trump MUST prove that Biden, Comey, and Obama EACH corrupted the data that does not exist.
Bondi says there’s nothing more after saying there’s something there, I think the American people deserve an accounting. Bondi is a liar, no doubt about that. Trump said the files are corrupted by BidenComeyObama and that needs to be aired out and proven. He can’t prove it, but he said he can, so the American people deserve an accounting of that. I can still think that even after stating the way the leftist press is doing it seems overboard. They are overboard, but the public deserves an accounting from Bondi and Trump. Transparency, remember? They are overboard, but the right has been overboard on this for years so let’s reveal, be transparent, and get er done.
Well said Mr. Dunger. A perfect word salad.
Mr Blankasshit: Geez, and I even numbered it for the scholastically challenged mentally unbalanced blank as shit crowd. If only Joe would allow crayon drawings, Howeird might have a clue. Don’t matter, he can’t discuss anything of substance anyways. .
