Is Pelosi Attempting the Biggest Fraud in Speaker History?

Is Pelosi Attempting the Biggest Fraud in Speaker History?

We first must understand that there is no reason that Congress needs to investigate the events on Capitol Hill on January 6th.  They are being pursued and investigated more than any domestic unrest in American history.  There has been no such investigation since America was brutally attacked in a multi-front international effort that took 2977 lives and injured more than 6000 in three aerial attacks in two different states and the District of Columbia on 9/11.  And there were innumerable reasons why that foreign attack on American soil had to have an investigation.  There were too many questions hanging out there.

There is no comparison between 9/11 and what happened on Capitol Hill – even though the left is trying to brand 1/6 as a comparable day of infamy in the national psyche.  Most of the facts of what happened on Capitol Hill are already obvious. However, Democrats and their media flunkies are putting them through the spin machine to gain political advantage in the 2022 midterm elections.

The first and foremost reason that we do not need Speaker Pelosi’s personal biased kangaroo court Select Committee is because those most responsible for getting to the bottom of things – the law enforcement agencies and courts – are already undertaking an unprecedented investigation.  Seriously, no domestic violence in American history has had more involvement from law enforcement at all levels.  We already have more than 500 people arrested – some remaining in jail pending possible indictments.

Those involved in the violence – or planning the violence – have mostly been arrested.  So far, the arrests and the charges have been typical riot-related offenses – trespassing, vandalism, assault, etc.  Some charges are unique to special laws that give Congress more legal protection than the average American enjoys – such as disrupting Congress. We have no such law to arrest those who disrupt and destroy the workplaces of common folks … poor folks. Hmmm.  When Democrats led a sit-in on the floor of the House to disrupt the proceedings a few years back, should they have been charged?  Just a thought.

During the massive demonstrations in Washington during the 1960s Days of Rage, Congress had to shut down more than once.  I do not recall any similar legal action against those folks.

Pelosi & Co. have been attempting to elevate the violence on Capital Hill to the level of an assault on the Republic – often claiming that America came close to falling to a mob determined to put Trump in the White House by coup.  That is patently untrue, and any American who believes that fantastical narrative is an idiot.

I do not usually use such pejorative language. But I cannot understand how anyone of average intelligence could truly believe that the Republic was perilously close to collapse.  I do understand the motivation of those who are peddling that humongous lie.  They are morbidly fearful that Republicans will regain control of Congress in less than two years.  So, no phony hyperbolic claims against all things Republican are off limits.

From the moment violence broke out, I saw a riot.  In many ways, a typical riot that has risen out of peaceful protests and demonstrations across the country for generations.  For all the bs about insurrections, sedition and coups, I still see it as a riot.

Now, allow me to make myself clear.  I am tough on rioters.  I want them arrested, indicted and, if judges and juries agree, sent to jail.  And I thought the death of Ashli Babbitt was a great tragedy. But I blame her for participating in a criminal activity – putting herself in harms way.  Her actions were violent.  I believe the officer who shot her was well within his obligation to prevent harm and possible death of others.

But the riot on Capitol Hill, which has the leftwing media on constant coverage, seems less of an event than many of the riots we have seen in our major cities.  And yet there are no Congressional investigations of those riots.  The FBI is not on fulltime duty to track down and arrest the thousands … yes thousands … of looters, arsonists and vandals who had literally destroyed the livelihoods and living places of innocent business owners, workers and families.

The harm done in those cities FAR surpasses the damage and injury – and even deaths – that occurred on Capitol Hill.  It raises the question as to whether the dramatically differing responses to a riot on Capitol Hill and those around the nation is that only one of the riots was on the turf of the privileged elite political establishment.  Is it a form of Not in My Back Yard (NIMBY) mentality that drives the exaggerated descriptions?

Now we have the latest act in Pelosi’s political melodrama – her Select Committee.  It is a Committee that Pelosi crafted … period.  She has picked all the Democrats – mostly fierce partisan attack dogs against Trump and the Republican Party.  And she is now picking all the Republicans – equally fierce attack dogs against Trump and fellow Republicans.

She already as Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney – and is rumor to be negotiating with Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger.  There may be people with different party labels on Pelosi’s Committee, but not with different perspectives – the essence of bipartisanship.  The conclusions of Pelosi’s Committee are preordained.

It would be difficult to find any time in the history of Congress when a Speaker of the House so abused power and crafted a committee so devoid of balance and real bipartisanship.  Pelosi’s very act of tossing out two GOP members put on the Committee by the Republican House leader is unprecedented – as never having been done before.

Pelosi must know that the Democrats’ hyper inflated over-throw-of-the-government narratives will not stand the test of time even in the court-of-public-opinion UNLESS she can keep that lie floating out in the media-sphere for the next year and six months – until the midterm elections.  If that seems like a long time, keep in mind how Democrats and their media cronies floated the phony Russian collusion narrative for more than two years.

Having real Republicans on the Select Committee – even without the powers of the majority – just might expose the latest Democrat fraud.  They might ask tough questions or bring up facts that Pelosi wants to keep buried.  They may have legitimate different information and perspectives.  That is what Pelosi cannot allow.  So, she takes a page out the despot playbook and blocks the free exercise of a democracy – the legitimate participation of all stake holders.

If Pelosi honestly had a commitment to fairness and fullness, she could have followed the design of the failed Commission – equal representation of Democrats and Republicans – both having the power to subpoena.  She could have.  But she did not.  Instead she created a partisan monster – more in keeping with her political nature.

The Pelosi Select Committee is – to put it simply – a fraud.  It is perhaps the biggest fraud any Speaker has attempted to perpetrate on the American people.  Who does Pelosi think she is fooling?  The answer is … you.

So, there ‘tis.

Mitch NcConnell created the Select Committee. Pelops is the results of Mitch’s actions. Ball was in his court and he punted.

Given your background , you really call McCarty’s picks “ real Republicans? Kinda goes against your How much power” rant on the cult.

I think once we get to Benghazi level number of investigations, we will be in the apt comparison range….

    • larry Horist

Frist … the Pelosi committee has sunk much deeper than the Benghazi or Clinton investigations. Most notably, Republicans did not remove any of the Democrats picks — and there were some rabid members on the Dem side. This is not bipartisan in the spirit of the word — which usually means various counterpoints. This is a political lynch mob unlike anything Congress has ever seen since the racist Democrats were running the place in the early 1900s — and even they did not descend to stunts like Pelosi.

    • Lee Bare

      Mitch is a backstabbing RINO.

She and her scumbag party are frauds

Larry Hoist is full of shit. There is every reason!

    • larry Horist

rhon jackson. Thank you for sharing with the public your concern over my intestinal condition. I now feel obligated to announce that as of earlier this morning, it is no longer the case. And also thanks for providing yet another example of a progressive who is incapable of carrying on an intelligent fact-based dialogue. And yes we do have examples of that on the right … duh!

      Such as?

Remove pelosi the Evil Doer Troll.

Larry Hoist might be, but Larry Horist is mostly right on target, unlike you.

    • Lyudmila

I don’t understand how Larry Horist could afford to call
the “duties” of the bastard – who shot an unarmed woman, the mother of three children – the war hero Ashley Babbitt. What harm, and to whom, did this wonderful woman, killed by this freak, do? Was Larry Horist pondering this question or just chatting about what came into his head, perhaps while he was drinking.

The 1/6 riots were San Fran Nan’s version of the Reichstag fire, I’m willing to bet that her Antifa Brown Shirts were the main instigators of the riot. This woman is pure evil and needs to in jail.

  5. Theodore Sueck

Well Larry, I agree with almost everything you have said here. Pelosi is way out of hand as well as her cohorts in crime. However, your assertion that Ashli Babbit got what she deserved is WAY off base. Should she have been arrested? Of course. Jailed? Sure. Shot dead for trespassing? You are out of your tree on that one. There was no reason that a trigger happy goon working for politicians should get away with that murder. Yes, I said murder. If a cop can get accused for murder while doing his job anywhere else in this country, why not in D.C.? Other than that mistake in your writing, I agree with you completely.

If your intentions are to do nothing to this person, Then please condone her act in giving her Husband a forward notice, where as he was able to obtain information and funds to manifest millions of dollars in their bank accounts over this matter… She is a thorn in my side and I am sure is with others… She looks to herself and the Hell with others….

  7. Michael J O'Connor

Pelosi should hang naked in a public square for what she is doing to the United States. She is the most disgusting person in the world.

    • Robert

Hang Naked—Please, I almost lost my breakfast with that image!

Larry, Your selective memory is forgiven due to your advanced age, but it also means that you shouldn’t be writing a blog that you attempt to pass off as credible. No, this is not a 9/11 commission-recall that was bipartisan and sanctioned by both houses of Congress. However (and this is where you have memory issues) perhaps you don’t recall the Benghazi probe, or the probe into the Clinton emails? Yes, the FBI is investigating the matter too, but there is a significant political aspect to this as well which they will not investigate. The riot as you call it was caused by lies being spewed from the mouth of one DJT regarding his election loss. That needs to be investigated, and McCarthy is being an idiot to not nominate credible Republicans to be on the commission. (No, Gym Jordan is not credible, he is a buffoon who craves attention). McCarthy passed on arguably the smartest Republican in the house, but fortunately Nan has picked him up. So, yet again, you have failed to see the big picture…

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey. Apart for you childish opening, you have mixed apples and cow dung. As I recall both the Benghazi and the Clinton instigations were held well within the traditions of the House. The Republican leadership did not appoint Democrats to the committee. They allowed the Democrat leadership to appoint their own — and none of them were rejected by some nutty prejudgment of what how they might conduct themselves. Pelosi abused tradition to make sure Republican members did not have alternative views from the preordained results. You entire comment reveals that you think you know all the facts and expect the Pelosi panel to confirm them — and to what end They cannot indict Trump. That can only be done by the FBI that i doing the REAL investigation. You want a review that is prejudged. But your desire is obvious. You want the court-of-public-opinion to overrule the real courts. You want a political verdict … not a legal one. And Pelosi has no credibility in opposing Jordan after putting Schiff — who like throughout the Russian collusion hearings — and Raskin — an anti-Trump pit bull — on that panel. Your entire analysis is strident political drivel. In America, you have a right to your opinion, but you have no automatic right to be taken seriously.

  9. madmemere

Commie pelosi is involved in the Jan 6 attack, right up to her ugly, cavernous eyeballs; the only reason she wants a “select commission”, made up of her own butt lickers, is so it will allow her to cover her own derriere! We already know most of what went down that day and the majority of the action was at her own direction. Notably, and not everyone knows this – -the rioters did NOT shut down Congress, nor did they threaten Congress in any way – -Congres had ALREADY BEEN EVACUATED, by the FBI, because of the pipe bomb threat.

    • Mike

Dear Max, Your name says it all. Not sure who you get your news from, but you need to change stations. The Capitol was not evacuated prior to the attack, a fact well documented. Try again..

  10. frank stetson

Wait, we have 86 tossed cases for election fraud and we need more.

We had ten investigations into Benghazi and you still think she did it.

Bill Clinton’s impeachment really ramped up when they found out he got a blow job, lied about it and then attempted to cover his blow job story. And conservatives still wanted his head, pun intended, through even more court cases

Dozens of lawsuits filed over Obama’s birth certificate, and you still aren’t sure.

Yeah, Democrats are truly evil for asking for a Senate Investigation. You called it, you denied it. Now you are against a House Investigation which you can’t deny, tried to sabotage, and now will yell “partisan” since you refuse to help as honest brokers. You say we already know what we need to know, no need for further information, no need for transparency, this vote is counted, done, over. Just some tourists who got out of hand. No big picture, no motives, no intent, nothing to see here, don’t look behind the curtain. We got the bad guys and based on what we don’t know, we conclude they acted alone, on the spur of the moment, just swept away in the emotional outbreak of tourism.

Gut check: who avoids transparency and open investigations? Communists or ……

  11. Dan Tyree

The commiecrats go all in over a so called riot among patriots but don’t say a damned word about hood rats burning and looting. But that’s ok. They will mess with the wrong people eventually

  12. frank stetson

Dan sees commie’s everywhere, the majority of the country, more in the city and suburbs. They are everywhere, even in the White House. It’s just like Dan is stuck in the 50’s and going Joe McCarthy on us. His favorite song, which you know can’t be true because Elton is gay… with apologies to Mr. John and Bernie, and a one and a two….

    “They said, get back, commiecrat,
Better get back to your hoods
Cuz, I’m in a haze with my Trumpneck ways
And, ooh ooh ooh ooh, oh, change never gonna do me good”

    • Dan Tyree

Mikey I read the communist manifesto to educate myself on the subject. And I discovered that your party is eaten up with communism Yes, we could use more people like McCarthy.
