Biden Democrats Own the Migrant Crisis

Biden Democrats Own the Migrant Crisis

What is happening on our southern border today is the culmination of decades of Democrat open border policies … period.  For purely political purposes, Democrats have offered lip service to border security. They then carried out policies that were certain to provoke mass illegal border crossing and the migrant crisis we are seeing today.

Those policies were the enticements they offered migrants – jobs, welfare, education, drivers licenses and most everything normally associated with citizenship  — and protections from law enforcement – sanctuary cities, catch and release, restraining Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from enforcing immigration laws.

For four years, Democrats called President Trump’s efforts to control the border inhumane. As if allowing tens-of-thousands of unvetted individuals into our communities was somehow humane.  The so-called “humane” policies of the radical left are directly responsible for the surge in crime, gang activities and illegal drug trade all across America.

American citizens have been needlessly killed, raped, beaten, robbed and terrorized by bad actors who crossed our border embedded in the un-vetted masses.

They have stolen people’s identities.  And yes, illegal aliens have also voted with the aid and abetting of urban Democrat political machines.

Throughout the presidential campaign, the Biden/Harris ticket has repeatedly expressed their hope and desire to have migrants come to America. They made no distinction between legal and illegal migration.  They also criticized virtually every effort by Trump to secure the border.

Upon taking office, President Biden used Executive Orders to nullify virtually every Trump immigration policy. There was no consideration of their value and effectiveness.  That was the starting gun for the latest — and one of the largest — migrations to the southern border in American history.

The across-the-board nullification of Trump policies for purely partisan political purposes has even forced many diehard progressives to criticize the new Biden Administration.

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria has conceded that some of Trump’s policies were necessary – and reversing them caused what he called “a foreseeable crisis.”

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has been harsh in blaming the Biden administration for enticing so many unaccompanied minors to take on the dangerous trek to America’s southern border.

The greatest criticism of the Trump administration was the handling of migrant children. Exaggerated claims of inhumane treatment sensationalized this criticism.  And yet, the greatest problem for the Biden administration is the treatment of the unprecedented number of unaccompanied minors. They are now confined to enclosures that look disturbingly like the so-called “cages” of the past.  Such irony.

Despite efforts of the Biden administration to block the press from access to the immigration facilities, pictures have emerged of hundreds of children sleeping on floors or even on outside ground – under those silver mylar covers.  It is also noteworthy that Texas Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar took and released many of the most disturbing pictures. He has been an uncompromising critic of Biden’s immigration policies.

More than 15,000 “children” have arrived at the border since the start of the Biden administration.

And while Biden has asked asylum seekers to apply for admittance to the United States from their home nation, the words are not credible. The policy of enticement remains in place.

If there is any doubt about who is responsible for the migrant crisis at the border, one only need look at the large number of migrants wearing Biden t-shirts or displaying Biden signs.  When asked, many say that Biden’s words were what made them believe they could easily enter America – legally or illegally.  They know who their “sponsor” is.

Of the many things that Biden’s left-leaning policies have botched, the immigrations issue is the most immediate and obvious.    In terms of other issues – the chickens will come to roost in the future.

So, there ‘tis.

Even Orwell warned of the use of words in politics. The left has taken this to heart and all so often paints something ugly with pretty words. They want to say it is just a challenge instead of a crisis, right. I saw some D nut job on Fox the other day saying Trump’s policy of taking their information and flying them back to where they came from while they awaited processing was somehow much worse than Biden telling them ‘don’t come.’ How exactly is that worse when they would end up in the same place but with paperwork in process? And not stacked on top of each other for weeks on end in a pool of covid? Lies lies lies. How does anybody trust any of these politicians anymore.

Which, off subject, reminds me of Fauci. This guy actually told us he lied to gain a result. So why do people believe anything else he has to say? Now he wants everybody to keep wearing masks even when they’re ‘vaccinated.’ It’s a lie – surely he just realizes that if he opens that window of opportunity then droves of people will unmask alongside so he’s just lying like before.

Larry, there is no boarder crisis, it is fake news. In fact the numbers are very similar to trump’s 2019 numbers.
The only difference, just like the deficit, republicans all of the sudden care about it.
This should prove beyond a a doubt that the news media does not have a liberal bias.
