Another issue dogging Fauci

Another issue dogging Fauci

Maybe you can take bat viruses and enhance them so that they can infect humans.  Maybe you can get away with lying about it to Congress.  But torturing puppies in the name of science may be a bridge too far.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is head of the National Institute of Health’s Allergy and Infectious Diseases agency, Medical Advisor to President Biden and America’s highest paid bureaucrat ($434,312 per year).  He has become controversial over his flips on Covid Pandemic advice.  He first said Covid would not impact America – until it did.  He advised against wearing masks unless you had the virus – until he called for universal masking.  He said it was safe to be outside – until it was not.

He got into a brouhaha with Senator Rand Paul, who accused Fauci’s organization of funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab.  After repeatedly saying under oath that no such funding was being provided, the NIH admitted that the funding was for gain-of-function research on bat viruses – although not the Covid-19 variety.  Fauci had lied to Congress – and Paul was right.

It seems that Fauci has survived all those controversies – and his public image is only slightly tarnished.  But that was before it was revealed that the kindly looking doctor was overseeing the torturing of puppies.  Yikes!

I understand – and approve – of the need to use animals in medical research.  Many of earth’s fauna had enabled scientists to achieve breakthrough medications and procedures that have saved – or extended — the lives of virtually everyone on earth.

Outside of militant groups of animal lovers, most of us accept the need to sacrifice rats, pigs and even an occasional monkey.  But puppies?  There is almost nothing in the animal world that appeals to the human heart more than puppies.  After all, dogs are regarded as “man’s best friend.”

As if the use of puppies is not bad enough, it is the experimentation that is gut wrenching. The details of the procedures had the look of Nazi experiments on humans.  In this case, the beagle puppies were infected with parasites that would eat away at them.  Their heads were sealed so that swarms of flies would bite them and inject the parasites.   The puppies had their vocal cords cut so they could not bark and then they were allowed to be consumed by the parasites.

HOWEVER … the sensationalized media reports had it wrong.  Oh, those hideous experiments are being funded and conducted, but not by the agency headed by Fauci.

But the story did bring attention to a relatively unknown truth.  In denying that the National Institute of Health’s Allergy and Infectious Diseases – Fauci’s organization — was responsible for the dog experiments in the initial news report, the agency did admit that they do other research on dogs – and that the vocal cords are cut so the dogs cannot bark.

They gave two reasons for the laryngectomies.  They say the sound of the barking causes stress among the dogs.  Damn considerate of the scientists … eh?  No need to overly stress dogs that are writhing in pain – silently.

The second reason can only be seriously advanced by bureaucrats.  The dog experiments blame another bureaucratic agency – in this case, OSHA.  It seems the screeching of the dogs creates sound levels beyond what is permitted by workplace safety standards.  Unanswered is just what is being done to the dogs that would have had them barking so much – and so loudly?

The central question is whether all that research is really necessary.  After all, it is true that the horrific Nazi experiments provided valuable medical information – just like the outrageous syphilis experiments on Negros provided valuable information back in the 20th Century.  And just as selling fetal body organs provide valuable scientific information.  But at what cost?  Where do we draw the line?

To be honest, I do not know where that line is, but I am inclined to believe that the described puppy experiments have crossed it.  I would like Fauci to explain the essential value of these experiments.

So, there ‘tis.

When is this evil dr.fraudci (frankenstein) going to be removed from his position, and arrested for giving totally misinformation about the virus, lying to congress, and trying to cover for china and his own behind, of where the virus came from. He also needs to be arrested for evil experiments on dogs and other animals, This phony, lying, pos is evil incarnate and needs to be locked up, for his helping to create this virus that is killing millions, and covering up for china and himself.

this makes me want to puke. We are back to nazism.

Larry, where do we cross the line in deed.
You say it should be with experimenting with dogs, like these beagle puppies. While the mental image gives dog lovers who have them as pets an emotional reaction. I myself love dogs. Those I have adopted and others met while taking mine on walks.
However, I have known and now know people do not have a heart for dogs. Experimentation using dogs, no matter the type of tests on the dogs. After all, they tell me, it all done for advancing science. Therefore, it all good.
Meanwhile, other animals kept as pets are traditionally used as lab animals specially bread for this purpose. In mid 20th Century college days I was given charge of several white mice/rats purposely for my Psychology Lab project. Caring for and training these lab animals during that semester a connection developed. My lab partners have our subjects each a name.
Training the “lab rats” went well, our subjects performed beyond expectation. All the lab animals, at our projects completion, we’re healthy mature active and yet, we had to euthanize them all. The Department had rules regarding lab animals, they had a useful purpose. The purpose was time limited.
If asked, my lab partners and I would wish our lab subjects could have been spared, as a few students asked to adopt them. The reality in this situation the lab group understood going in at the semester’s start.
The matter of scientific experimentation on animals for human benefit has expected givens. Upper most is the animals as subjects are treated humanely.
Where this condition is not observed. In that place the line is drawn. When that moral line has been trampled, then laws and statutes have been broken.
Yes, in lab animal use for scientific experiments there is a, so called, bridge to far. Where it may be is not universally established in the science community. I would hope that group is made to follow the laws equally as are the rest of us handling, loving, and caring for our animals and pets.

Science should not be given a pass for experimental practice that treats subject animals less than humanely by regulations and statutes measures.

Larry, you often use this space as a platform for conducting business as prosecutor, jury, and final judge. Those subjects standing accused in your court of personal opinion receive no mercy, nor any fair treatment. Too often this pulpit of yours devolves into schoolyard like bullying. In this your picking targets is more like Donald Trump than Trump himself bullies those he dislikes.
Talking about a bridge to far is referencing a battle champagne late in WWII. The Allied Forces’ attempt at taking a vital bridge failed as German tanks and pillbox machine gunfire advanced as Allied foot soldiers crossed armed with rifles only. The battle was grim with a great number mowed down. The mission lost that day received judgement by it planners and named, the bridge to far.
I’m the scheme of things, a schoolyard bully ruling over a tiny patch behind a 4 room school house, the villages only school. Red faced angry you shout pounding fists skyward aiming at all in the world perceived evil for their chosen politics, Democrat. In your estimation, a position antithetical to the essence of democratic governance. Which is truly, just the way it is. Your humble opinion being not so humbly dispatched to those few of us out here who still do read critically distinguishing trees from mere bush’s in the forest world.
Freedom is more fully experienced for us who have no great and specific agenda pushing through and dividing this country into two camps. Those judged as ones like me are the camp of us. Those that the “us” camp perceive as not like them are judged as being idiotic and less worthy. These are the Others., the so called “them”.
Critical thinkers understand differences in opinions and listen hearing the thoughts and noticing the actions coming from all sides. With appreciation for the rights had by everyone and allowing for the exercise of those right. Critical thought processing discernment looks for truth among all the shouting.
Which claim argued does no harm, will generate no fear, is fair and just, and stands with ambiguity being clear to all.
Those shouting about free exercise of personal Freedom, they are fearful thinking their Freedom is in peril. Those across town in the poor neighborhoods shout the word FREEDOM , they are fearful, too. Never experiencing Freedom as the un-entitled people, fear is present. Will they ore their children actual be allowed the exercise of FREEDOM to the extent of their ability.

Good article Larry. Except for the part where you talked about the egregious testing that Fauci was not responsible for and then used the picture from said testing that Fauci was not responsible for as the lead picture for your story. That seems a little yellow, journalistically speaking.

As you noted, Fauci not responsible for the test that is making the most impact on America. His organization is responsible for either one or both of the other tests, both of which follow FDA guidelines. At least one of the tests was conducted under the guidelines of the University of Georgia. So at minimum, all three organizations and perhaps Congress should be included in the boat with Fauci.

As cruel as these tests are, they are the recognized as the best way to provide life-saving medicines in some cases. There are strict guidelines on how to proceed and if said guidelines are violated, there should be sanctions or even criminal charges.

We have a question, “does America want these types of test, does America want these types of medicines“ I don’t think Fauci comes into that discussion except as witness

I still don’t see how Fauci became the devil. Saying we should wear mass, we shouldn’t wear mask, we should get a vaccine; kids should be in school I just don’t see the horror of it all. Re The mask; Fauci all along said this was a moving analysis and we were going to make our decisions based on the best information available and that said decisions may change as new information unfold it. Why some Americans cannot grasp that concept is beyond me. I just need a bogeyman to blame for the problems. Or a better defense as to why they are not getting the vaccine.

On the other hand, Brix has testified before Congress that it is estimated that the actions, or lack thereof, of the Trump administration may have killed 130,000 Americans, about 30 to 40% of the total COVID deaths that America suffered and, worse yet, many other countries didn’t.. I realize were talking about puppies, but that number sticks out to me as being a higher priority to find those culprits and hang them high. Meanwhile, let’s just leave Fauci alone, he is not the boogyman, he does not deserve the hatred, death threats, and other terrible things being bestowed upon him by the ragged right.

Like some of the crap above.

Thanks for the tips you talk about through this website. In addition, a lot of young women who become pregnant usually do not even try to get health care insurance because they fear they might not qualify. Although some states at this moment require that insurers offer coverage regardless of pre-existing conditions. Fees on these kinds of guaranteed programs are usually larger, but when thinking about the high cost of health care bills it may be some sort of a safer way to go to protect your own financial potential.

Good article and right to the point. I don’t know if this is really the best place to ask but do you people have any ideea where to employ some professional writers? Thanks 🙂

Thanks for the new things you have revealed in your writing. One thing I would really like to comment on is that FSBO connections are built over time. By presenting yourself to owners the first end of the week their FSBO will be announced, ahead of the masses commence calling on Monday, you develop a good interconnection. By mailing them instruments, educational resources, free reviews, and forms, you become an ally. Through a personal fascination with them in addition to their problem, you make a solid link that, on most occasions, pays off when the owners decide to go with an adviser they know plus trust — preferably you actually.
