Connecticut State Employee Caught in Voter Fraud Favoring Democrats

Election fraud has plagued the American elections for years at various levels in many states mainly with Democrats as its beneficiaries. In the latest case of voter fraud, a woman employed by the state of Connecticut has been charged with fraudulent voter registration that benefitted the Democrats in 2024.
The Register Citizen reported (January 28) that 57-year-old Arlanda Brantley turned herself in to Torrington police after an investigation from October last year found her responsible for fraudulent voter registration. The story goes back to September 17, 2024, when a national voting event was held at the Western Connecticut Mental Health Network. Brantley, an employee with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, secretly altered voter registration cards from the event. The story wrote:
Through the investigation, Johnson said, police determined Brantley intentionally altered several voter registration cards by changing the party affiliation from “No” or “Republican” to “Democrat” without the consent of the registrants.
Brantley has been charged with five counts of fraudulent registration and five counts of primary or enrollment violations. She was released after posting a $10,000 bond to appear in court later this month.
News Space noted in a post about the case on Sunday (February 2) that this is not an isolated incident in the state as a number of Democrats were arrested and charged last year over election fraud. The post referred to the arrest and indictment of two city officials and two campaign workers from Bridgeport, all Democrats, for abusing the absentee ballots in the 2019 mayoral race of Bridgeport.
In recent years, the issue of fraudulent voter registration has been a hot button issue in many states with Democrats mostly favoring loose regulations that facilitate voter fraud in blue states and counties while Republicans pushing tough laws around voter registration and verification of voters. Verification and regulation of absentee ballots also remain a contentious component of this political battle. In a high profile case, former Democrat Congressman from Pennsylvania Michael “Ozzie” Myers was sentenced in 2022 to two-and-a-half years in prison after he pleaded guilty to multiple counts of voter fraud favoring Democrats in several elections held in the years from 2014 to 2018.
On Monday (February 3), Hoodline reported that an audit commissioned by Arizona’s Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs has revealed “deep-seated issues with the state’s ability to accurately track voter citizenship.” The story wrote:
As reported by ABC15, approximately 218,000 voters may have registered without providing necessary proof of citizenship due to systemic database issues. The audit pointed out that the state law has loopholes allowing non-citizens to register to vote. As the story explained, the current Arizona law accepts a U.S. passport as proof of citizenship when certain U.S. passport holders, like those from American Samoa and Swains Island, do not have voting
