Al Gore Criticized for False Predictions on Climate Change
It’s been exactly five years since former Vice President Al Gore warned us that the North Polar Ice Cap would be completely melted in five years.
Last time I checked, the ice was still there.
Gore made a similar prediction during a speech at the 2009 UN Climate Change summit in Copenhagen: “Some of the models suggest that there is a 75% chance that the entire North Polar Ice Cap, during some of the summer months, could be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years.”
In his 2006 documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” Gore warned us that that the Earth “would reach a point of no return within 10 years” unless “drastic measures” were taken.
When confronted about the inaccuracy of his predictions by Fox News’ Chris Wallace, Gore pointed to Miami and Greenland as examples of global warming: “[Greenland] has been losing one cubic kilometer of ice every single day. I went down to Miami and saw fish from the ocean swimming in the streets on a sunny day. The same thing was true in Honolulu.”
(I visited Miami just two months ago and I can tell you there certainly are not fish swimming in the streets.)
Gore did, however, admit that global emissions are declining: “Some of the responses for the last 10 years have helped, but unfortunately and regrettably a lot of serious damage has been done.”
Gore met with Trump earlier this year to persuade him not to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, a decision he says “undermines our nation’s standing in the world” and “threatens to harm humanity’s ability to solve this crisis in time.”

Al Gore’s phony documentary is widely responsibly for bringing the topic of climate change to the forefront. He even won a Nobel Peace Prize for spreading the word about man-made climate change.
As meteorologist Joe Bastardi points out, the recognition was unwarranted:
“Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Prize based on warnings of future events – the same future events that have not happened. The fact is that global temperatures from 2006-2007 while Gore was basking in the glory of his apocalypse-driven fame were warmer than they are now…Without monkeying around and ‘finding’ warming, temps have changed very little during 20 year AGE hysteria period.”
Gore is currently working on a sequel to his original film entitled “An Inconvenient Sequel.”
Snake oil salesmen have been making a fortune from nieve dolts for centuries. Those who have been “Goreped” are just current indoctrinees, as are the democrat socialist groupies.
Global warming of the climate is real, but has been progressing since the most recent ice age. Our contribution to global warming is minimal at most when a broader period of time is evaluated, however. It will.probably continue warming for thousands of years. CO² levels are only a small part of these long term climate fluctuations. Other factors include weakening and eventual reversal of the magnetic poles and as yet poorly understood changes in solar activity and sunspots , among other unexplained factors. I am unwilling to run like the looney left lemmings over the brink by committing trillions of dollars in a vain and foolish attempt to alter the natural course of climate change.
By the way, Al Gore is an idiot, and all who follow his lead are brain dead zombies.
