HORIST: Wasserman-Schultz’ strange view of anti-Semitism
The repeated comments and accusations by Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar against Israel, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee and Jewish interests in general has gotten the Democrats in a game of political Twister. They are condemning and defending Omar at the same time.
The initial response of the Speaker Nancy Pelosi faction of the increasingly divided Democrat Party was to pass a resolution generically condemning anti-Semitism but without naming Omar or her anti-Semitic tropes. But even this semi-cowardly response was too much for the radical left in the Democrat caucus.
So, they came up with an even more stupid response – a resolution condemning every one of the left’s favorite anti-isms – anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, white supremacy and homophobia. One might argue that by NOT chastising Omar, the resolution could be seen as defending anti-Semitism by obfuscating the issue – burying it among all those other isms. That is exactly what it did. There was no calling out of Omar.
Perhaps one of the most interesting members of Congress in this political contretemps is south Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She is one of the most prominent Jews in the United States House of Representatives. She served as chairperson of the National Democratic Committee during the 2016 Clinton Campaign – at least until those infamous leaked memos got her canned for using the DNC to undermine the Bernie Sanders campaign.
One might expect Wasserman-Schultz to issue a strong statement not only against anti-Semitism, but against the serial anti-Semitic statements of her colleague Omar. But nooooooo! She told reporters that it is “pretty outrageous that Democrats had to offer up a resolution to spell out for people across this country what anti-Semitism means.”
Wasserman-Schultz exonerated Omar by referring more broadly (no pun intended) to “some members” – plural – and saying she will “give THEM the benefit of the doubt and say it (the tropes) are unknowing.” That excuse falls in line with Speaker Pelosi’s contention that Omar may not have realized the meaning or seriousness of her comments. That leaves two choices. Congresswoman Omar is either anti-Semitic or unimaginably stupid.
Only days before, Wasserman-Schultz accused Republican Congressman Jim Jordan of engaging in an anti-Semitic trope. It seems Jordan used a dollar sign in a tweet complaining about billionaire anti-Trump activist Tom Steyer, who is spending tens of millions of dollars promoting Trump’s impeachment.
That dollar sign – according to Wasserman-Schultz – was a coded trope about Jews and money rather than the more obvious general reference to Steyer’s wealth. The fact that Steyer is not Jewish did not seem to matter. His father is a non-practicing Jew and his mother is Episcopalian. At 30 years old, Steyer claimed that a “revelation” led him to pursue the Episcopal Christian Church.
The contrast between her quick and harsh condemnation of Jordan on an obviously bogus accusation and her namby-pamby reaction to Omar is not her only defense of Muslims acting badly. Another case involves Pakistani Imran Awan. He was an IT advisor on the payroll of a number of Democrat members of Congress – most notably Wasserman-Schultz. He had access to the entire email network of Congress.
Awan was investigated and charged with a scheme to purloin computer equipment through the congressional procurement system. He was also convicted of bank fraud. Awan’s wife and kids escaped to Pakistan and he was arrested at the airport with a ticket to Lahore.
When the investigation commenced, every member of Congress who had employed Awan severed the relationship EXCEPT Wasserman Schultz. She remained his defender even as the legal troubles mounted. She claimed that Awan was the victim of Islamophobia.
What can be said of Wasserman-Schultz, her affiliation and support of the Democratic Party trumps most other considerations – even anti-Semitism and criminality in her own backyard.
So, there ‘tis.
This article justifies Rep. Omar’s comments. Why can’t we just be Americans. Is it really important to point out JEWISH legislators, how about dropping this BS and concentrate on how to show love to the whole world.
You can show love, but make sure you are armed because you could be blindsided. Holding hands and singing kum by ya around a campfire isn’t going to stop some from hating you, and conspiring to kill you. They use this attitude to destroy you while kissing you and appearing to be your friend. Doubt my words? Watch and true crime shows or documentaries on history. You need to be much more aware.
Wasserman-Schultz is a bad as Omar and vice-versa. Democrats sold their souls, if they had any to begin with, to Leftist ideology. They can rationalize anything to suit their end game.
On another note, a Muslim should not be allowed, by law, to hold any elected office in the U.S. Their allegiance is to Sharia law, not to the Constitution. Ms. Omar should be removed from office.

One more to add on to the Anti-Semetic list in the Democratic Party. The Shame of it is that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is Jewish herself like Sanders and a few others. Do these idiots have their heads so far up their behinds that they don’t realize what these low life’s are doing to our Government and our Country. This includes The Brainless of Pelosi and so many others mostly in the Demo Party. What are these idiots afraid of that they allow five brainless woman take over the Democrats hostage??? Have these people have their B*lls cut off that they don’t speak up against these woman who not only speak up against Israel but they openly speak up against the United States as well. Their aim is clearly as they let us know the conversion of the world into a Sheria World. Why aren’t the American people who are against what’s going on speak up? WHERE ARE YOUR VOICES BEING HEARD??
I am reminded of cartoonist Gahan Wilson’s self-portrait in a cartoon of himself out in an idyllic, sunny pastoral scene, where he is seated on a stool in front of a large easel. He had painted a monster on the canvas and was grumpily responding to a curious boy, saying, “I paint what I see, kid!” Democrats are like that. They see monsters where none exist.
Does this need any comment? No, only a question. Why is anyone in the AMERICAN political arena protecting Islamists, and more important, why were these Islam supporters even allowed to be a part of politics within the USA? They all support the same regimes under the same umbrella that scream, “DEATH TO THE USA and DEATH TO ISRAIL.” Does anyone need more? Add to that, the religion they aspire to serve demands that they take anyone who does not convert to Islam be forced into servitude or killed. Oh yea add to that, their leader was in his late 39’s when he married a 9 year old girl, I believe his third wife. In America we call this pedophilia!

It is not anti-Semitic to discuss Israel’s control of our political process. It is a legitimate discussion to have, and one that is supported by many Jews, especially now that Netanyahu and his Likud party has become increasingly more fascist.
Ironically, Ms Omar is the real David standing up against the billionaire funded pro-Likud Goliath.
On Sharia law, Islam, like it’s precedents (Judaism and Christianity) encompasses a wide range of belief systems. Billions of Moslems live in Indonesia, Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, China, India, Somalia, Singapore, Mongolia…and none of these countries follow sharia law. There are only 8 countries that follow sharia, one of which is our ‘other close ally’ Saudi Arabia.
Trump is right, we should focus on our own internal issues and stop lobbyists from bribing our officials into giving hundreds of millions of our tax dollars to support and fight wars on behalf to fascist regimes. Imagine if we took this money and used it to on schools, jobs, infrastructure and health care in the USA instead.

For far to long in Weston, Sunrise, and every area of Broward, Debbie Wasserman Shultz’s district are Jews either just dumb, stupid or complaisant about her mentality, or is it just big influence and money.
