Operation Twin Shield Targets Immigration Fraud in Minnesota

To dismantle the ingrained immigration fraud that has been a weapon of political takeover of the left in the country, Trump’s State Department launched Operation Twin Shield, a first-of-its-kind effort to target immigration fraud. The results of its first round appear good as hundreds of fraudulent immigration cases have been detected and put on the table for appropriate action.

The opening round of Operation Twin Shield was conducted last month in Minnesota by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), in coordination with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). On September 30, USCIS announced the operation’s conclusion and results on its website. The news release wrote:

Operation Twin Shield was a resounding success: USCIS officers focused on more than 1,000 cases that had fraud or ineligibility indicators, conducted over 900 site visits and in-person interviews, and found evidence of fraud, non-compliance, or public safety or national security concerns in 275 cases—44 percent of cases interviewed.

USCIS Director Joseph Edlow told media that mass patterns of immigration fraud were found in cases of marriages, H1B (professional work visas issued for multiple years), OPT (temporary work permits issued to foreign students graduating from American schools), and those on the parole program that allowed sponsoring foreigners from different countries even when their American sponsors didn’t know the people they were sponsoring.

As cited in the USCIS release, Edlow said that Operation Twin Shield means the current administration’s war on immigration fraud:

“USCIS is declaring an all-out war on immigration fraud. We will relentlessly pursue everyone involved in undermining the integrity of our immigration system and laws.”

Later, Edlow joined John Solomon of Just the News to talk about this crackdown on immigration fraud. He told Solomon that the operation was started in Minneapolis because that is a known hotbed for marriage fraud among others and the crackdown on all kinds of immigration fraud will expand across the country in the coming months. He also told that all options including denaturalization immigrants who committed certain kinds of fraud as well as prosecution were on the table.

Student visas have been one of the most readily available means for the globalist left to bring in large numbers of people from abroad and them keep them in the country by adjusting their status to residents and ultimately citizens. On October 15, ICE posted an update on its website to inform the public of the results of their investigation into immigration fraud by employers in Northern Virginia. The update says:

ICE officials discovered evidence of noncompliance and potential fraud, including evidence of nonfunctional or staged worksites and supervisors who lacked knowledge of laws and regulations related to employing foreign students while visiting local IT services companies.

Closing the borders and removing illegal migrants from the country has been one of the key campaign promises of the current Trump administration. So far, they seem to be keeping this promise though dismantling the bigger network of leftist organizations that run the immigration fraud machinery needs more work.
