FL Governor Announces 20 Voter Fraud Charges

FL Governor Announces 20 Voter Fraud Charges

Twenty Florida residents will soon be charged with voter fraud related to the 2020 presidential election and could face up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. The charges represent the first major action from the Office of Election Crimes and Security, a sort of “election police force” created by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) to identify, investigate, and prosecute voter fraud.

“This is just the first step,” promised DeSantis. “There are many more in the pipeline…We are not just going to turn a blind eye to this. The days of that happening in Florida are over.”

The twenty individuals are all ex-felons who voted in the 2020 election despite being prohibited from doing so based on the severity of their crimes. All 20 were convicted of murder or sexual assault – charges that exempt them from a 2018 law allowing some felons to get their voting rights back.

“They did not go through any process,” confirmed DeSantis. “They did not get their rights restored and yet they went ahead and voted anyway. That is against the law and now they’re going to pay the price for it.”

Next, the Office of Election Crimes and Security will look for illegal immigrants who voted in the 2020 election and for people who voted in more than one state. These common violations are not actively monitored by the US Government, noted DeSantis.

The Office is also tasked with monitoring the upcoming midterm elections, a responsibility Democrats fear will manifest as “election police” hovering over voters at polling stations.

As a whole, Democrats continue to frame Republicans’ attempts to preserve election integrity as a scheme to undermine Americans’ access to voting.

While the timing of DeSantis’s announcement was certainly designed to impact midterms, this is something that needs to be done. What remains to be seen is whether Democrats will cheat again with this much awareness regarding voter fraud.

The ELECTION POLICE have uncovered a massive voter conspiracy with 20 arrests proving the corruption in Florida voting as controlled and managed by Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is brave to point out his massive failure.

    Will there be a recount?

These were individual cheaters as I understand. He is the only governor in the country who is attempting to fix this problem.

So Florida allowed these folks to register? Is it possible, since this is a new law, that there is some confusion among the populace over exactly what the law contains? There is no confusion that this organization is a total waste of money, developed for one purpose only, to stir the base. 20 people out of how many million? Best start checking for all those dead people who voted for trump….

I don’t think any state does a security check before you sign up to vote. Each state keeps its own records, you would have a lot of checking to do.

20 votes; what problem at what cost?

DeSantis and his Election Police have yet to reveal any details about the massive voter fraud dragnet that captured 20 folks allegedly for voter fraud as to the actual crimes. It’s been a week. Many probably will turn out to be criminals trying to vote. Whether it’s some concerted conspiratorial effort at voter fraud, simple mistakes, confusion or just a clusterfuck —- DeSantis has not released the warrants or any other detailed information making this the best kept secret since the reasons and the booty from the Mar A Loser raid.

We do know that they came from Broward County where Democrats outnumber Republicans two to one.

We also know that DeSantis is spending $2.6M with 25 officers needed to catch these 20 master criminals. So far, that’s over $130k per arrest and more than one officer needed, full time, to catch each culprit. Think they have been working for four months.

At this rate, the Election Police will be lucky to nab 100 by year’s end which would make it $26K per capture.

Floridians cast over 20,000,000 million votes in 2020 making this sting count for a fraud level of .0001%, well worth $2.6M. At this rate, DeSantis will spend $2.6M to catch maybe 100 culprits, mostly due to confusion, to stop .0005% voter fraud. Money well spent.

This is just the start, and it sends a very clear signal to any that would consider voter fraud in the future. Stay tuned.

      Tony,
If these 20 are “cream skimming,” then you gonna need a bigger glass of milk. Given the resources, the money, if this is their “quick and easy,” what do you think they will get by year’s end. Another 20, maybe 40. Is 60 fraudulent votes, out of 20,000,000 at a cost of $2.6 million a good use of taxpayer funds?

And until DeSantis releases details, how many of the 20 will be rejected? I am betting a good number. Will he find a conspiracy amongst the 20 — doubtful. Nope, sure seems like your paying $2.6M to prove a problem you have already proved you don’t have. But it sure makes good press.

I just don’t know why DeSantis is not releasing any details on the arrests. We don’t know who was arrested, why, or anything. It’s apparently classified. What is DeSantis hiding. He’s like Putin, arresting, celebrating this huge success, and then putting the arrested in the black hole of Key Biscayne.

It turns out that the 20 people that DeSanctimonious nabbed for voter fraud out of of 11 million FL voters each had voter registration cards given to them by the division of elections. At this point, no one in certain whether the alleged voter fraud suspects did anything special to get those cards.

Furthermore, for the state to prove voter fraud in this case, they will have to prove intent. Good luck with that one.

It appears that a goodly member of the 20 will never see court and if they do will not be convicted. If any see court at all.

It looks like DeSanctimonious has served up a big nothing burger and tossed it against the wall in order to get national headlines for further his personal political aspirations at the cost of Florida taxpayers. This wall burger will not stick.
