RNC Releases Scathing Video That Proves Dems Want to “Defund the Police!”
Despite Democrats trying to distance themselves from the so-called “Defund the Police” movement, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has released a video showing many prominent Democrats embracing the “defund” rhetoric.
The video highlights Democrat officials’ support for defunding the police as the Democratic Party tries to back away from the idea.
The RNC took aim at prominent Democrat lawmakers ranging from “Squad” leader Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., publishing 7 straight minutes of Democrats echoing talking points of the “defund the police” movement.
“Suck it up. Defunding the police has to happen. We need to defund the police,” Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., another “Squad” member, said in the video exclusively obtained by Fox News.
“You don’t have one bad apple. You don’t have four bad apples. You have a system-wide problem in that police department,” failed Senate and presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, D-Texas, says in the video.
“And only by completely dismantling that system and rebuilding it intentionally with the community members at the table do you have any hope of getting it right,” he continues.
The new video, entitled “7 Minutes of Democrats Saying Defund The Police,” comes as the Democrats desperately try to move away from the rhetoric as crime spikes around the country.
The party’s attempts to distance themselves from the defund the police movement, however, were put in further jeopardy after the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) hired new top employees with a history of pushing defund the police rhetoric.
The news comes after President Biden and Democratic leadership tried to distance themselves from the defund the police movement, with some moderates blaming the rhetoric for Democratic House losses in November.
What % of Democrats, Democratic officials actually want to defund the police? A handful? A Tsunami? You have some, does that mean a majority? A large number? A whiff?
What actually is meant by “defund the police?” Does it mean “close it down?” Does it mean re-engineer police funding elements not directly related to policing to provide the same services from more appropriate sources allowing police to focus on policing? What are you even talking about, and how does that apply to your anecdotal pieces of data?
This story could be a complete red herring intended to rile the base against an entire program based on a few Congressional advocates while everyone defines the issue differently. Just can’t tell from a politically inspired sound bite montage weaponizing statements of a few against the whole.
Imagine what would happen if I tried the same. HEADLINE: Republicans no longer believe in American Democracy questioning our election processes validity. A total of 208 of 239 Republicans in Congress not sure if Trump won the election or not. They just don’t know and are not willing to say Joe Biden is President. Two actually believe Trump won and is still President. Only 37 believe Joe Biden won and deserves to be President. Yesterday, Steve Scalise confirmed that fact. He does not believe Joe is President and still follows Donald Trump as President.
It gets even better when I do the Covid and racism versions….. Gotta love yellow journalism. Good job Bill !!
So you’re saying that most commiecrats doesn’t want to defund the police. Interesting. Their silence on the subject is deafening. They want to start with tying the hands of the police and fry them even if shootings are necessary. And over 95% of the police shootings are. Yes, a few cops were wrong. But very few. And you will know more about how many want trump in 2024. It’s comical that even die hard liberals in Hollywood now know that retard joe is a moron. And his token is polling lower than he is.
“So you’re saying that most commiecrats doesn’t want to defund the police.” Uh, I didn’t say anything like that. You did. I will blame my writing skills although I really want to say it’s your reading comprehension skills lacking on this one.
“Their silence on the subject is deafening.” Actually it’s the Republicans who ARE physically defunding the police through voting down police funding program after program. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/white-house-actually-it-s-republicans-who-are-trying-defund-n1273292 Plus, and of course you never look before you open your mouth to spew your stupid stereotypes, here’s most of the Democratic leadership speaking loudly saying “Dan don’t know didley about democratic defunding:” https://www.politico.com/news/2020/06/08/defund-police-democrats-307766 There’s plenty more that even a blind squirrel could find. AOC is not the entire Democratic Party, fyi. She couldn’t force a vote for a ham sandwich at high noon.
“And over 95% of the police shootings are.” Wow, a number! Bet you can’t source it, bet you made it up. Another dantasy. Just like you made up “even die hard liberals in Hollywood now know that retard joe is a moron.” Gee, and you didn’t drop any “die hard liberal” names. I wonder why. “Yes, a few cops were wrong.” You don’t even know what defunding the police means, do you…. Not unusual for Americans, and certainly normal for you to add a projection your own emotional meaning to the term. But defunding the police has very little to do with police abuse during arrests. I will let you try to figure out what it really means, but you are not even close right now.
Just another dantasy, a work of fiction but an author that does not even know the meaning of many of the things upon which he espouses expertise.
Folks: Defunding the police is about re-engineering budgets, funding, and governance over non-police specific activities like social support or mental health support allowing police to focus on police work, not social programs. Yes, it might lower police abuse, but only in cases where cops shoot people over non criminal activities like some non-criminal domestic disputes, mental health issues, etc. Let cops be cops is the vision. It is a terrible marketing term, actually inflammatory on it’s face. Perhaps something “re-engineering the police” might be better.
And no, most Democrat politicians are not for it, the leadership most vocally not, however, we do understand the validity of the concept which might be worth investigation as to better efficiencies for police to be able to better focus on policing.
Here’s a reader’s digest definition to remove your dantasy definition, as well as the stats showing the minimal support from the US, and from Democrats in general. You might expect Democratic leadership to follow the desires of it’s constituency.
You only had to look to be able to avoid looking like an idiot Dan: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/03/07/usa-today-ipsos-poll-just-18-support-defund-police-movement/4599232001/
Don’t act like a street punk . If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. Try to shoot and harm the police, get shot. No problem there. Burn and loot, people should and many will shoot. The left wants rid of the police so they can do as they please But you know about the ammo shortage? Those rounds are somewhere. Does anyone really want to find out? Go ahead. Make my day!!!
The NRA went bankrupt after taking money from the Russians. Made my day.
The Democrats are not against police. Many think the perhaps the police should focus on police work, not be funded for essentially social work.
Learn what “defunding the police” actually means so you don’t sound so stupid by being so wrong.
I don’t mind opposing opinions, but at least you should be factually correct when you have one.
The NRA took money from Russia? Prove it. But remember that they were the earliest civil rights group. They trained and protected blacks from the commiecrats running around with white sheets and hoods. Look it up. Prove me wrong. I double dog dare you
Danny Boy, now you’re just being lazy… Simple google search turns up dozens of links about the NRA taking Russian money…

Dan, they were call Dixiecrats, it did happen. And now they are Republicans and we call them a major part of the base. And in case you are search-engine challenged……as you seem to be….
