Pro-Palestinian Vandals Attack Trump Golf Course

&NewLine;<p>President Trump&&num;8217&semi;s golf course in Scotland has been defaced by vandals with pro-Palestinian graffiti&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Over the weekend&comma; local media showed images of red paint scrawled across walls at Trump&&num;8217&semi;s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland with the slogans &&num;8220&semi;Free Gaza&&num;8221&semi; and &&num;8220&semi;Free Palestine&&num;8221&semi; as well as insults against Trump&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Gaza is not for sale&&num;8221&semi; was also painted on one of the greens&comma; and holes were dug up on the course&period; The lamp post at the resort’s&nbsp&semi;entrance was also damaged&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>A Pro-Palestinian activist group&comma; Palestine Action took credit for the damage&comma; posting on social media platform X&colon; &&num;8220&semi;Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property&comma; he should know his own property is within reach&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Last month&comma; while well-intentioned&comma; Trump enraged the Arab world by declaring unexpectedly that the United States would take over Gaza&comma; resettle its over 2-million Palestinian population&comma; and develop it into the &&num;8220&semi;Riviera of the Middle East&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Trump&&num;8217&semi;s Turnberry Golf Course and Hotel is located in southwest Scotland and has three courses – two 18-hole courses and one nine-hole course &&num;8212&semi; with the venue previously hosting four&nbsp&semi;Open Championships&period; However&comma; it hasn’t staged the event since Trump bought the course in 2014 and renovated several holes&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The resort is one of two that Trump&comma; via the Trump Organization&comma; operates in Scotland&comma; with the second being Trump International Scotland in Aberdeen&period; The President is an avid golfer and his mother hailed from Scotland&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Police Scotland said it was investigating&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Around 4&period;40 am on Saturday&comma; 8 March 2025&comma; we received a report of damage to the golf course and premises on Maidens Road&comma; Turnberry&comma;&&num;8221&semi; a Police Scotland spokesperson said&comma; adding that inquiries were ongoing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Neither the President nor anyone from the Trump Organization has commented on the vandalism&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Separately on Saturday&comma; a man waving a Palestinian flag climbed the Elizabeth Tower &&num;8211&semi; commonly known as Big Ben &&num;8211&semi; at London&&num;8217&semi;s Palace of Westminster&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
