Despite Democratic Victories Trump Has Kept His Promise on Stemming Illegal Immigration
The left would have you believe that the Democratic victories on Election Day represent a kind of “buyer’s remorse” because Donald Trump has not kept the promises that overwhelmingly swept him into office. However, on thing is clear the President has kept his promise on closing the Biden Border.
Under President Trump, the number of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border are at historic lows after his rapid action to close the border on Day One, with illegal crossings plummeting to levels not seen in decades and virtually no illegal aliens being released into the country’s interior, the White House said in on the first anniversary of the 2024 presidential election.
The number of unaccompanied illegal immigrant children crossing into the country has reached a record low, according to the administration. At its peak under the Biden administration, 4.6 percent of illegal border crossings were unaccompanied minors — many of whom were victims of trafficking. In the first two weeks of March under President Trump, that percentage had already fallen to just 0.4 percent of illegal crossings.
After the Biden Administration lost track of 325,000 migrant children, the Trump Administration has located more than 13,000 of them, the White House said.
Immigration Promises Kept
- The Trump administration resumed construction of the border wall in the second term. Dozens of miles of new construction are underway, including new border barrier projects in El Paso and the Rio Grande Valley.
- As per the White House data, the Trump Administration has arrested more than 150,000 illegal immigrants, deported more than 139,000 illegal immigrants, and released just nine illegal immigrants into the U.S.
- The Trump administration halted the physical entry to the U.S. of illegal border crossers, suspended refugee resettlement, and dramatically lowered the number of refugees allowed into the country.
- The administration is carrying out the largest deportation operation in American history and stopping the migrant crime epidemic.
- The Trump Administration is dismantling human smuggling networks, sanctioning cartels and designating them as foreign terrorist organizations, and deporting gang members.
- The Trump Administration has targeted the so-called “sanctuary” jurisdictions that gave safe harbor to criminal illegal immigrants.
How do we know these statistics are true? Trump and his MAGA conservatives continuosly lie to us. I just watched his Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent on television contradict numerous things Trump says and even he said hundreds of thousands of people in the U.S. are dying of fentanyl. I Googled deaths by fentanyl and just a little over 400,000 have died since 1999. That is in the last 26 years. Yes that is too many, but that is not a major crisis to be saying hundreds of thousands. It was 48,000 in 2024, down from 73,000 in 2023 and duh, that was under the Biden administration.
You conservatives spread lies, fear and distrust among the real majority of people in the U.S. Just look at what is going on right now. Trump has been in office 178 days and “the people” are angry at him and his way of governance. He has set a record for longest government shut down, ironically breaking his own record set when he was president the first time. That is no coincidence, it was planned and part of his strategy. He loves it. He tears the White House down without following procedure. Why because he wants to agitate the people. He loves it. He says he is solving the immigration problem, not really, he is just putting fear in anyone who wishes to come to America. He loves it. By the way, the on-the-ground labor market in our area is zilch now because no white or black people want to do the work all of the “illegal” immigrants Trump forced out of the nation did. Now it either doesn’t get done or it costs a fortune to have it done, i.e. the price just went up. Inflation is still here, prices are rising, everything is out of control. He and his adminstration don’t care because they have plenty of money and food on the table and will have while his tariffs take 10 years to take effect. The majority of the people don’t have that much time. Trump loves it because he has plenty of money and it puts him in control. Fact, our government is out of control. The people know it and the World knows it. That makes America very weak.
