Democrats Move to Legalize Prostitution in Colorado

Making history has been a publicity thing for the Democrats, mostly with ridiculous first-in-the-nation’s-history political stunts. And now, Democrats in Colorado are adding their trademark sleaze to make history again by introducing a bill that seeks to legalize prostitution across the state – something no other state in the country has done to date.

Senate Bill 26-097 that seeks “Decriminalizing Commercial Sexual Activity among Consenting Adults” across the entire state was presented by Democrat lawmakers in the state before the legislature to pass last month. The summary of the bill states:

It declares that decriminalizing commercial sexual activity among consenting adults is a matter of statewide concern and expressly preempts statutory or home rule city, town, city and county, or county ordinances, resolutions, regulations, or codes criminalizing commercial sexual activity.

In simple terms, the proposed bill legalizes prostitution by adults all across the state but keeps pimping and sex trafficking illegal and criminal. The Democrats who sponsored this bill have reportedly based their case for it on the rationale that the government/law needs to stay out of people’s sex lives.

In both State House and State Senate in Colorado, Democrat lawmakers outnumber Republicans by almost two-fold and the state’s governor is also a Democrat. It is noteworthy here that three out of the four Democrat lawmakers who sponsored this bill are women.

But internet sleuths have traced another figure linked to the legislation, one with a shady history. Erin, an advocate for parental rights, posted a thread about the link between the bill to legalize prostitution and a transgender prostitute called “Tiara” from Colorado Springs, who has a history of doing drag shows including young boys dressed as girls and performing for adults.

Traditional feminists strongly oppose prostitution on the grounds that it makes women’s bodies a commodity for men’s desire or sexual needs. But liberal or progressive feminists of the later waves of feminism started seeing prostitution as a job – calling it sex work – and approve of it as women’s ability to work out of their own choice as long as they are not forced into it and their work gets the same protection as other forms of labor.

Conservatives are opposed to prostitution and see it as nothing but exploitation of women and the Republicans in Colorado’s legislature have voiced their opposition to Bill 26-097. AOL (February 18) cited Republican Senator Janice Rich from District 7 calling the bill “demoralizing for women.”

LifeSite News (February 27) included comments from Rachel Moran, an author and former prostitute with first-hand knowledge of the sex industry, on the legalization issue. She said:

“When prostitution is socially endorsed, the market expands. Where are these new bodies coming from? Young women with choices are not going to say, ‘I’ll go into the sex trade instead of going to college.’ No. Socially disadvantaged young girls are funneled straight into prostitution.”

In response to this humorous story, Paul DunGoff looks at all the facts, thinks long and hard, and decides to go the route of the Douche Bag as he tells the world: “Good job opportunity for dunger’s daughter.” Yes, he wants to make my daughter his prostitute; that’s his brilliant conclusion from Dempseys story.

Paul DunGoff comes here, supposedly reads this story, listens to his self-imposed Danger earworm dangerously driving him mad, 24/7, and blindly lashes out, not at the article, not at the issues, but at my imaginary daughter he often fantasizes about. Dear Paul, I am glad that I and my imaginary kids can be the poster children for your malcontent, the very devil ruining your life that you feel you need to vanquish to improve your life. I am the ill to all your success, the keystone of your life’s failures. If only I was not to be, you might be better off. Poor DunGoff, if you could only rid your mind of the Danger earworm.

And Mr. Gilbertson, excellent job at moderating third-party ad hominem attacks opening up new venues of insults. Guess we can start going after your and other author’s families here too. What fun extreme free speech can be when practiced poorly. Free speech and ad hominem attacks can be mutually exclusive IF you are a gentleman and have some level of a code of conduct, a code of ethics, perhaps a little morality and compassion. Or take the route of a stupid, fucking, asshole, like this guy.

Dungoff’s spew is even funnier than Prude Dempsey’s story. Turn the music up Paul, maybe that will quite your earworm. Because I spell my name: Danger, and I am frank with the facts that you just can’t stop thinking about but are too weak, too inadequate, to debate on the merits.

My daughter is nearly 60, Mr. Professor of Everything and he who has to have the last word on everything. What you meant is sick!

PB aka AF: “Such beautiful, kind and loving words.” Twas sarcasm, but really —- do you think age matters to this guy? I agree, he is sick, but you should point your anger to the source versus your overwhelming hatred of me. I called him out for going after my daughter he made up and fantasizes about, and Gilbertson who allows third-party ad hominem attacks when he said once he does not, and you turn around and go after me for that.

Whatever floats your boat, dear. ttfn

Yes Dunger. I went to college. I was on the high school debate team I was also a lifeguard until a blue kid got me fired. And my sister couldn’t wear pantyhose. Every time she farted she blew her shoes off.
