
<p>In reading the headline, maybe you think it was something that appeared in the satirical publication, The Onion. ; Nope! ; It IS further evidence that those on the radical left have gone bat-poop crazy.</p>



<p>CNN analyst Juliette Kayyem suggested – with a straight face – that in view of the horrific killing of 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde, Texas Uncle Sam should suspend enforcement of the US/American border in the area. ; This is from a former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security.</p>



<p>If you are like me, you are probably scratching your head in an effort to find even the slightest reason why that makes any sense whatsoever. ; The shooter was not an illegal alien – and even if he was, greater border enforcement would make more sense.</p>



<p>When Kayyem went on to explain her thinking(?), it made even less sense. ; She explained that Uvalde is an “… 80 percent Hispanic school district, so the most important thing for the federal government to do right now is to say there will be no immigration enforcement during this period in that area.” ;</p>



<p>Still not making any sense at all. ; Kayyem went on to say that a suspension of enforcement was necessary because of “the political issues in Texas” – whatever that means.</p>



<p>Unwittingly, however, Kayyem revealed a truth about leftwing thinking – maybe two truths.</p>



<p>She attached a favorite leftwing policy – open borders – on to a totally unrelated issue. ; Those on the port side of politics are forever attempting to sell their snake oil agenda at every opportunity – even when it does not make any sense.</p>



<p>She also revealed the left’s assumption that Hispanics love to have all those illegal border crossers entering America because …. because they are mostly Hispanic. ; The left assumes that Hispanic Americans do not care about the crime many of those border jumpers bring to THEIR communities – the gangbangers … the drug cartellians – and the drugs.</p>



<p>Then there is that final lapse of logic. ; Kayyem seems to have not known that it was members of the Border Patrol that first ran into harm&#8217;s way and neutralized the shooter. ; That is law enforcement jargon meaning they killed the son of a bitch. ; Imagine how things may have advanced if those border guards were not on duty.</p>



<p>Kayyem is just another example of the left’s through-the-looking-glass thinking.</p>
