CNN plan in wake of school shooting … suspend immigration enforcement

In reading the headline, maybe you think it was something that appeared in the satirical publication, The Onion.  Nope!  It IS further evidence that those on the radical left have gone bat-poop crazy.

CNN analyst Juliette Kayyem suggested – with a straight face – that in view of the horrific killing of 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde, Texas Uncle Sam should suspend enforcement of the US/American border in the area.  This is from a former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security.

If you are like me, you are probably scratching your head in an effort to find even the slightest reason why that makes any sense whatsoever.  The shooter was not an illegal alien – and even if he was, greater border enforcement would make more sense.

When Kayyem went on to explain her thinking(?), it made even less sense.  She explained that Uvalde is an “… 80 percent Hispanic school district, so the most important thing for the federal government to do right now is to say there will be no immigration enforcement during this period in that area.”

Still not making any sense at all.  Kayyem went on to say that a suspension of enforcement was necessary because of “the political issues in Texas” – whatever that means.

Unwittingly, however, Kayyem revealed a truth about leftwing thinking – maybe two truths.

She attached a favorite leftwing policy – open borders – on to a totally unrelated issue.  Those on the port side of politics are forever attempting to sell their snake oil agenda at every opportunity – even when it does not make any sense.

She also revealed the left’s assumption that Hispanics love to have all those illegal border crossers entering America because …. because they are mostly Hispanic.  The left assumes that Hispanic Americans do not care about the crime many of those border jumpers bring to THEIR communities – the gangbangers … the drug cartellians – and the drugs.

Then there is that final lapse of logic.  Kayyem seems to have not known that it was members of the Border Patrol that first ran into harm’s way and neutralized the shooter.  That is law enforcement jargon meaning they killed the son of a bitch.  Imagine how things may have advanced if those border guards were not on duty.

Kayyem is just another example of the left’s through-the-looking-glass thinking.

So, there ‘tis.

Actually the border patrol officer who ran in and shot the intruder was off duty and getting a hair cut. His wife, a teacher at the school, texted him telling him there was an active shooter in the school. He got a shot gun from the barber and went to the school.
Thankful he responded while the police just stood outside.

I had not heard that story. If true, it adds yet another bizarre facet to an event with a lot weird angles.

Yes, having mass murders always gives a harden to the gunnies like Buck.

Whatever the issue, whatever the problem, the answer is always more guns. Guns at home, guns in the car, guns at school, guns at the mall, more guns is always better than less guns to some. They forget that all bad guys with guns were good guys before.

Arm the staff he says. Cuz nothing’s meaner and more deadly than the luger-ed lunch lady.

It’s time to get totally bucked up with a good harden. Buck hears mass murder then feels himself harden right away. Wow, how much can I stroke this one. Guns and boners are just made for each other, right, Buck. Rob Elementary was hardened. They had locked doors, armed school resource officers, all good stuff.

I say screw the hardening, they always fail. Instead, let’s get offensive in our need for more defense. Let’s get those kids some kevlar school uniforms with bullet proof covid masks. Win-win for dumbshits from both sides of the aisle. Better yet, burn down the schools, go to all remote teaching —– then we will NEVER have another school shooting or mass murder in a school building. Ever. Mission accomplished.

Next, we need to burn down the libraries, let them use the internet from home.
Then, burn down the post offices, use email.
Then burn down the malls, stripmalls, big box stores, any store that holds more than four people and staff at a time. Let them shop online.

If you can’t harden, or if it costs too much, burn it all down and go digital.

Problem solved, and you’re welcome Buck.

Since the permitted gun carriers are among the most law abiding people Ben and his crowd doesn’t want us to shoot violent felons. Does their lives matter more? I don’t think so So stay armed and refuse to be shamed and shouted down by leftist fools

          • Ben

Did the Uvalde shooter have a license? BUSTED. What an idiot.

Meanwhile upBuck wants to save the unborn while sacrificing thousands of born every day. Buck’s ducks are most certainly not in a row. Buck’s ducks are fucked.

The rifle wasn’t required to be licensed. And shouldn’t be. But Ben should have been there and sang kumbaya with the rest of the idiots in the democrat party. I keep and carry guns for several reasons. One of them is that it’s not politically correct. And the statement about wanting to sacrifice the kids already born is a damned lie. And by the way, the kids in my family are being taught to handle guns. Including what you morons call assault rifles. The government is incapable of protecting us

Sorry, I misspoke and you gunnies are so, so precise….I was referring to the Transition Record, specifically Form 4473, the 6-page ATF FTR required by all FFL’s to be completed to lick off the NICS not-universal Background Check. It indeed is not a permit. I was wrong.

As to the rest; boring. sorry.

Most of the kids were Hispanics. The border patrol guy was keeping an eye on them. Was any of them illegal?
