Can Blinken Survive “the Hunter Letter”?

Can Blinken Survive “the Hunter Letter”?

One of the issues to surface – and be suppressed – in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election was the existence of the Hunter Biden laptop – and the meaning of the treasure trove of information it revealed.  It failed to be an issue in the campaign because Biden Democrats and the left-leaning media said it was all a Russian disinformation campaign designed to help President Trump.

The intelligence community not only went along with the false political narrative, it endorsed it in a public letter signed by more than 50 former intel officials and political operatives.  In other words, 51 people who are supposed to be in the know on such matters put their credibility on the line for purely political purposes – to help Joe Biden win the election.

Pumping credibility into the phony narrative was so successful that when less biased news outlets ran the story after investigating the fact, their reports were removed from social media platforms and banned as fake news.

As it turned out, the dirty political trick arguably worked.  The Hunter laptop did not receive proper investigation … the public was deceived … and Biden won the election.  It was only long after the election that it was conceded by the major left-wing media that the laptop was real, and the Russian story was the fabrication.

Hunter had emphatically denied that the laptop was his – and that the information contained on it was bogus.  That is until he decided to sue the people who brought the laptop to public attention for defamation.  In one of those head-scratching situations, Hunter’s lawyers do not admit that it is Hunter’s laptop – but that the revelation of the information was damaging to him.

Hunter’s continuing denial is foolish since all evidence proves it is his laptop and all the information is real.  Even the New York Times and the Washington Post have more recently conceded that fact.

The proof that the laptop and information belong to Hunter makes the intel letter a scandal of the first magnitude.  It means that the people most responsible for providing the government and the American people with legitimate and factual information – without political considerations — have produced a huge lie for partisan political purposes.

Among the 50-plus signers were such power intel folks as former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, former CIA Chief-of-Staff Jeremy Bash (husband of CNN’s Dana Bash, who was pushing the false narrative on air), former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell, former Deputy Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Douglas Wise, AND former Deputy National Security Advisor and current Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Morrell has testified that the impetus behind the letter was Blinken, who was working with the Biden campaign – and Wise has said that a number of the signers knew that all or a “significant portion of that content (on the laptop) had to be real.”  They were knowingly lying.

Blinken concedes that he signed the letter (well, duh), but claims he had no role in originating or promoting the documents.  Like the content of the letter, that claim is being proven as a lie.

The best that can be said for many of the signers is that they were told lies and believed them.  For many – especially those who held top intel positions – there is no excuse for the fabricated narrative.  They are most assuredly the people who fabricated the narrative.  They had to know at the time that the laptop was Hunter’s and the information on it was his work – including the X-rated videos and photographs.  They were not the product of Artificial Intelligence but of diminished intelligence.

The left-leaning media is doing its best to keep a lid on as many of the facts as they can – just as they conversely inflated the coverage of the now-debunked Steele Dossier.  It appears, however, that the lid cannot be secured.  The truth is tenacious – and is being revealed in Hunter’s paternity lawsuit and congressional investigations.  Even the Department of Justice is now looking into elements of the many Hunter Biden scandals.

But … there should be repercussions and consequences for those who knowingly created a false campaign document.  The minimum consequence should be Blinken’s resignation.  According to a Rasmussen survey, more than 60 percent believe Blinken should be impeached over his role in the letter.

Another consequence should be the removal of the top-secret status enjoyed by those who signed the letter.  A number of the signers – in addition to Blinken — have been rewarded with positions in the Biden administration.  They should be terminated.  For some, even criminal charges for defrauding the American voter would seem appropriate.

What we have is a HUGE political conspiracy by folks who are, or have been, at the top ranks of the American intelligence apparatus.  Allowing it to be simply swept under the rug would establish a terrible and dangerous precedent.

So, there ‘tis.

Another rehash of yesterday’s news combined with some feckless new acquisitions that currently amount to nothing sandwich.

Yes, it is hunters laptop, you have, regaled us with the gory detail over and over and over even as you err in the timeline history.

No, not all the data has been proven to be hunters. A good amount of the emails and some of the other data has been, but not the entire laptop files.

Blinken has been more or less forthcoming in his statements, Johnson is off-the-wall with his accusations, and nothing will come of this as the facts stand today.

Yesterday’s news with some feckless embellishments fostered by Johnson.

Stick to the illegal, alien children in workhouses story, that one has legs.

I am so sorry, old man, apparently you can’t remember what you wrote on your Santos thread, and so when I parody you, you claim it’s gibberish.

But did you get tickets for the conference at the Miami Trump Hotel featuring Trump and a bunch of white supremacist and anti Semites. You can go probably stand with Trump and deny the holocaust All proud members of your party. Eric will be there too.

Frank Stetson … In case you did not notice, you were not on the Santos tread when you responded. I say gibberish because you use this site to vent and rant — mostly personal childish insults, low level sarcasm and specious arguments based on your contrarian obsession. It is obvious you need to get a grip — if it is not too late.
