Biden Border Plan Means Open Borders … and Mayorkas Must Go

The firing of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas is long overdue –an urgent necessity.  He should have been gone a year ago when he first made his obviously inaccurate claim that “the border is secure.”  He has doubled down on that statement several times in the past year.  He even said it under oath in congressional hearings – tantamount to perjury because he must know it is not true.

However, putting someone else in that position to carry out President Biden’s open borders policy will not solve the crisis at the southern border.  That crisis is not a problem for Biden.  It is not something that he cannot control – or is too inept to control.  No.  No.  No.  Not even Biden can be that stupid.  The unprecedented surge at the border is exactly what Biden wants.  In fact, Biden’s border POLICY is among his most successful from his perspective.

That is why Biden wanted to end Title 42 earlier – to get the surge going sooner.  That is why he will not use his executive powers to put in place similar policies to retard illegal entry.  That is why he will not build more walls – or pay for more resources to STOP the illegal border crossing.

That is why Biden uses the fact that border control is a federal issue to prevent states and local law enforcement authorities from taking action to stop the flow of illegals into their communities.  He is not working in cooperation with local law enforcement or even Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). That is why Biden supports sanctuary cities that thwart efforts by local law enforcement to arrest and remove even criminal illegal aliens.

That is why Biden is not pursuing the Trump policies that had asylum seekers remaining in their country of origin while being vetted – as the law requires – or being held in Mexico until their cases have been heard.  That is why Biden does not apply the legal standard for asylum.  If he did, the vast majority of the illegal border crossers would be sent back home.  Biden wants them all in the United States – as many as possible and as soon as possible, even if that means criminals, gang bangers, and drug dealers.

You may have heard on the news that Biden has hired 1500 more people to address the problem at the border.  BUT … these folks are NOT hired to prevent illegal entry.  They are assigned to FACILITATE entry into the country.  And keep in mind that most of those who will enter illegally and remain in America illegally do NOT qualify for asylum under American law.  Asylum is not available to people who merely want a better quality of life – better jobs, better pay.

As a smoke screen for his open border policy, Democrats and their media allies paint as positive a picture as they can – pure propaganda.

They most often show sympathetic images of women and children when, in fact, the vast majority of illegal border crossers are young single men.  They rarely show the images of the children who are exploited by the drug cartels that take money to toss young children over the wall.

CNN did a documentary showing the hardship migrants suffer in their trek to America.  We saw the long walks in bare feet.  Camping in rain forests.  We did not see the buses and trains filled with migrants that are organized by NGOs and criminal cartels.  One railroad run by the cartels is called the “death train.”  What we do not see is the victimization of those who are beaten, raped, enslaved and killed.  We do not see the inhuman side of this so-called humanitarian crisis.

We also do not see the media focus on the conditions migrants suffer once they arrive in the United States.  That was a daily topic during the Trump administration.  Observers suggest that the conditions today are worse than under Trump – but you would not know that since much of the media is in complicity with Biden’s open border policies.

Thanks to Biden’s open border policy – and his efforts to ship unvetted migrants around the country – the problems many of the border communities have long suffered have now metastasized across America.  New York City Mayor Eric Adams is sounding like the El Paso mayor – claiming the Big Apple’s resources are being exceeded by the flow of migrants.  So far, that is only approximately 60,000 – and now he wants to ship them off to Orange County, New York.  We saw that hypocrisy when Toney Martha’s Vineyard booted a few dozen migrants out of town shortly after they arrived.

One of the major responsibilities of a President is to defend the border.  Biden is doing the opposite.  Though the political climate would not support such a move, Biden is impeachable by any objective standard of dereliction of duty.  He is not fulfilling his constitutional obligation – and is literally allowing criminals and drugs to enter the country, causing injury and death to American citizens.  Even if you agree – as I do – that most of the illegal border crossers are, for the most part, relatively decent people, the percentage of illegals is too high, and the price we pay is very high.

We often see the statistics of those coming and crossing the border, but we rarely see an accounting of the got-aways – those who crossed and fled into the heartland.  Border patrol reported 19,000 getaways in a recent weekend.  And it is only logical that there will be a much higher percentage of criminals and drug transporters among that group.

Today’s political lexicon is filled with references to political lies – even a BIG LIE as a political brand – but arguably one of the biggest and most dangerous lies is that the border is secure and that Biden is trying to reduce the number of illegal border crossings.  It is sadly ironic that the media concentrates on a BIG LIE that most Americans do not believe and pay no attention to a BIG LIE that too many Americans have been led to believe.

So, there ‘tis.

“Border patrol reported 19,000 getaways in a recent weekend..”

Uh, it’s gotaways, and it was a week. In May. Unsourced from Idaho arch conservative Senator Risch who’s source is Bill Melugin, a FAUX news guy from LA. He is FOX’s top anti-immigrant reporter.

Media Matters says: “Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin and his fans in right-wing media want their audiences to think he’s a straight news reporter — the kind of dispassionate journalist who follows the facts wherever they take him. In reality, Melugin is a far-right propagandist masquerading as a neutral, disinterested voice.”

Get away, Got away, who gives a crap along with the number and time frame.
Anything over 1 is a failure of the administration.
Would China, or Russia be happy with this administrations number? NO!
    Failure is Failure.
As Biden is the Quief, Im sorry Chief in charge of the Government.
    He needs to go.
This is what happens when affirmative action is transformed to the Presidency.
I know he is White, Pasty as it is, but he Identifies as a Minority for the Job & Money.
1/3 of the population are to ignorant to see the facts.

I work with legal immigrants to the U.S. who are working hard to become good citizens. Those who came to the U.S. legally wonder why they have to go through so much to be legal while illegal immigrants are flooding the U.S. and being taken care of by government. Illegal immigration is not fair to anyone and is potentially dangerous to everyone, including the illegal immigrants who are enslaved by the cartel members who bring them into the U.S. illegally.

    • frank stetson

Darren is clearly stating that Trump is a failure on the border even as his “hundreds of miles of NEW wall” equals less than 50.

      Sweeeet.

      • larry Horist

Frank Stetson … There you go again. Stating what someone else says what they did NOT say or mean. in my judgment, that is just a form of lying. And you do it habitually.

    • frank stetson

Uh, Robin —– because they are illegal is the simple answer……

However —- you must know that asylum seekers are legal…..

Yes, illegal is dangerous, bad, but how exactly, beyond letting their kids go to school, are they being taken care of? I don’t think the ones bused by DeSantimonious or Abbbbboooooot feel taken care of. More like USED.

you sure you work in this field?

      • larry Horist

Frank Stetson… more misinformation. According to the government, between 85 and 90 percent of those coming to the border and entering are NOT eligible for asylum — there for illegal entry. The problem is that millions of them are already in the US awaiting their day in court (or not) — which could be more than 10 years in the future. Most will be determined to be ineligible, but they will stay anyway. I wonder if you believe that the migrants are mostly women and children — like you see on television. Most are young single males who are ineligible. Do your research instead of inventing stuff.

      • Darren

Frank, only you can 1+1 and get 5
I was appealing apparently to other smarter individuals.
        Sorry to cause you confusion.

        • Frank stetson

Darren, you claimed that if one person crosses the border is a failure. That would include Trump as a failure. It was your own words.

As to how smart, I am or not, that is your opinion. I was just stating a fact, based on your own opinion, based on your own words.

And as far as Larry, When you, sow fear and loathing, you carry the hallmark of a Trumplicant. If you inflate what happened in a week as happening in two days, I would call that sowing fear and loathing. Not to mention that the claim has no valid source except for rabid anti-immigration fox, the liar station, reporter. Not your best source. Unless Larry admits that he made a honest mistake. Otherwise, it must categorize as a dishonest error.

I’m betting that Larry does not correct himself. I would live to be surprised.

The border is a freaking disaster, no one needs to inflate the numbers. Yes, I agree that Biden has failed in protecting the border.

If Trump did better, I guess once again, we can blame Covid. Although I am certain that is in human, cruel and unusual, punishment, may have had an effect. Some of the children have still not found their parents and vice versa. That was on trumps watch. I recently he said he would do it again. It certainly wasn’t his wall. 50 miles is piss. And to see him stand in front of America and claim hundreds of miles were installed, he gets corrected, and he claims hundreds of miles were installed again, and the audience cheers.

And I don’t have a clue what you mean affirmative action, that jst seems whack.

      • larry Horist

Frank Stetson … Fear and loathing?? LOL I did not realize the I was scaring you so much. Maybe you should go hide under the covers. And once again, you presume to know how the migrants sent to New York and Washington feel. Of course, that is you own invention, You do NOT gave clue how they feel. If you were a book, Frank, you would be found in the fiction section of a library.

Larry, I am many Independent/Unaffiliated voters are very pissed at the border situation. Yes we would like Mayorkas to go. But as far as him being inaccurate, all this says is that his definition of secure and our definition of secure is a bit different. Same is true of our definitions of being under control. What we have at the border is a Dem party major operation to build the Dem party by unrestricted use of our asylum laws. Frank Stetson points out that they are not illegal, they are asylum seekers which is legal. Problem is 80% of them are being sent home at a huge cost. Others simply do not show up for their hearing which then makes them illegal, and Frank avoids these statistics. As I have stated before, the rules for a green card (which means in some states you can vote in local and state elections) are different for immigrant cases than asylum cases. I explained this in a previous post. Approved asylum cases can apply for a green card in one year. Normal immigrants can apply in five years. Next step to cementing Dem control will be approval of green cards to vote in Federal elections. And this has been a two pronged strategy all along: 1) Many immigrants to change the cultural mix and influence, 2) Build the party fastest way possible. If this continues, we will cease to be a meat and potatoes culture and will be a vegetable alphabet soup culture within 30 years, and the green cards turned citizens will increase exponentially and be Dem loyalists – goodbye GOP! Hello one world government! The good news is that some of these today’s asylum seekers will be tomorrow’s business owners and the statistics show that they will eventually be GOP voters. But the issue is will enough of these new GOP voters to maintain a balance.

I do not think it is a case of Biden being stupid. More like a case of sinister. While everyone bitches about the border crisis nobody is looking at the eventual voter imbalance that will be created between the party registrants. I do think it is interesting that post Title 42 border crossings are about half of what they were which is evidence that ending Title 42 has backfired on Biden, but either way he gets to claim a victory. I do agree with you that the media has much of the inhuman treatment of migrants in an effort to prop up Biden and Dems. Ted Cruz was pointing this out the other day on an interview. I do believe that Trump did a better border job than Biden. I also thought it was unfair to criticize Trump for the use of those child cages that were actually created by Biden during the Obama administration. I do agree that there are many single males seeking asylum when IOP they should be in their own country trying to make things better. Also I am a bit amazed at the number of overweight people among the asylum seekers in those pictures. Seems like they have been eating well!

Mayor of NYC can cram it where the sun does not shine. This was a person who heavily criticized Texas for their handling of illegals (or as Frank says “Asylum Seekers” ). What I do not hear is the Mayor of Dover, or Wilmington Delaware complaining. Have any of these people been shipped to Delaware cities? I think more should be shipped to Biden’s home state. More to Kamala’s residence. More to NY, MA, GA, MI, WI, etc.. More to Frank’s area and beloved state NJ, more to Whippany, Newark, Trenton, Atlantic City, Ocean City, Mays Landing, etc. These are all lovely towns with nice people that are very welcoming!

I do agree, the price we are paying for the percentage of deplorables coming in with the nice immigrants is high, but we can impact that price by curbing our appetite for drugs. We are the ones funding much of this, any American who does drugs that these deplorables bring in, no matter what party, are the ones facilitating their entry. We need very stiff penalties for all of them!

Again, these are great articles to point out the issue. But there is a bigger plan in play that is not being written about. And that is the plan to build the Dem party using asylum laws which yield faster green cards and quicker citizenship for federal election voters, facilitate the spread of LGBTQIA + tranny which all yield zero population growth thus needing more immigrants and asylum seekers, change the racial mix to be much more mixed, non-white, and culturally non-specific through immigration and asylum, poorer, and woke agenda that all favor socialism, make the USA more secular by beating down Christianity, attacking Christian leaders and judges, and raising the LGBTQ flag, use the media to further social narrative and pump their narrative into the masses while minimizing traditional and conservative narratives, cancel and subvert free speech to silence objectors, divide the country’s leadership and install more social leaning leaders to create a social majority.

    • larry Horist

Tom … 85 to 90 present of the border crossers are not eligible for asylum. That makes them illegal from the onset. A major part of the border problem is that the Democrats have been aiding and abetting illegal border crossing for years. They are providing the enticements — welfare, education, jobs, sanctuary — while undermining enforcement at the border and the work of ICE. They allow asylum seekers to enter dthe country to request asylum even though the law requires them to apply in the native land or the first border they cross.

      • Tom

I agree Larry. And what I am saying is the bigger picture, one that you should write about, is “why” they allow so many to seek asylum, and what they are looking for from the 15% that do get asylum, and how that tilts the balance in favor of the Dems. And you are correct about the enticements, but it is the “why all of the enticements” that is the bigger issue. Yes it is about compassion but like with the Chinese, everything has a dual purpose! Rom Emmanuel, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” And if there is no crisis, then by gosh, make one!

Please research an article that follows this general outline:
        Definition of immigration and asylum.
Green card wait times and differences between the immigration and asylum approved cases, and and which method takes the shortest time to build the party with new voters.
Anticipated approved cases and how this will tip the balance.
Enticements and how they seal the deal for one party over the other.
Long range projections and possible imbalances over the next 30 years or eight election cycles.

If you need some research help you know where to find me!

All these people coming in are going to enable DC to pay my Social Security payments well into the future. We need them.

    • larry Horist

andy … I am all for legal immigration and you are correct, we can use the workers. But that does not mean we should admit people who are in eligible — which most illegal border crossers are. AND they one contribute to you Social Security if they are workers, but they would be risking their future Social Security. Too many are going on welfare, and the means a drain on the American economy.

    • Tom

Andy, I appreciate your concern about being able to pay for our social security system which is projected to have shortfalls anywhere from 2025 to 2035 depending on who’s figures you use and government spending in the future. But I think a cost based analysis would show that the folks that will make it in through asylum 1) Will be low wage earners, 2) Will have used much social capital from the system including economic supports that will take twenty or more years to repay, 3) Will have to work 10 lifetimes to repay the costs for sending the 85% back just so we can get the 15% who are eligible. Nobody is looking or asking what the costs are to send a block of 100 or 1000 home. It must be staggering! If we took those costs and funded SSA, we would all be doing very well!
