
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Some of the fringe Democrats are already talking impeachment again. It is being advanced through a grassroots program called “Operation Anti-King.” Congressman Al Green (D-TX) and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) have already endorsed the plan.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">No surprise there. Green has been “Mr. Impeachment” since 2016. He actually introduced articles of impeachment the day after Trump’s first inauguration. You will also remember Green as the fellow who yelled and waved a cane at Trump at the beginning of his Report to Congress Speech.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Omar is one of the most radical left-wingers in Congress. ; But she and Green are not alone. ; Other Democrats endorsing Operation Anti-King include Representatives Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR), Maxine Dexter (D-OR), Sam Liccardo (D-CA), Maxine Waters (D-CA), Shri Thanedar (D-MI), and Hank Johnson (D-GA).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The impeachment movement is based on the Democrats&#8217; major narrative that Trump is a threat to the American Democracy – a wannabe dictator who will not step down in 2028. They have been laying that one on very thick since 2020—and especially during the closing months of the 20224 campaigns. We know how that worked out for them.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In view of failing to convince a large segment – a majority – of the American voters that Trump will end American democracy and set himself up as a dictator king, one wonders why Democrats keep hammering on that narrative.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dexter says she is in favor of impeachment because Trump is “cruel, chaotic, and (his) unlawful actions have put our democracy at risk.” ; She added, “I refuse to watch as our democracy is undermined.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Bonamici says that Trump “is violating the constitutional rights of people in this country and ignoring the rule of law.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By all measures, there is no chance of impeaching Trump for the next couple of years – and virtually no chance of having the Senate remove him from office at any time. If Democrats are successful in taking control of the House, you can rest assured that there will be serious efforts to impeach Trump again &#8230; and again &#8230; and again. There will most certainly be impeachment inquiries and hearings – political dog and pony shows that they believe will hurt Trump politically. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Of course, they know that the Senate will not remove him – even a Democrat controlled Senate. ; It is an exercise in political chicanery and a total abuse of the impeachment process &#8212; but that does not matter to Democrats. ; They see impeachment as a means of blunting Trump’s power and besmirching his reputation. ; It was THE number one issue that Democrats used in the recent campaign – and Trump came the winner and stronger than ever.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Neither the “end of democracy narrative” nor the two previous impeachments have stopped Trump from winning an impressive victory over his obsessed and crazed political adversaries. Democrats have become the colloquial definition of insanity – doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Their insanity has another name -– Trump Derangement Syndrome. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So, there ‘tis.</p>
