AOC Blames Trump and Critics for Her Foreign Policy Flub

An obviously shaken Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., attempted to blame critics – and even President Donald Trump’s own off-the-cuff agility – for the backlash she received for her response to a question at the recent Munich Security Conference on American defense of Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.

“If you think I don’t understand foreign policy, because of our of hours of discourse about international affairs, I pause to think about one of the most sensitive geopolitical issues that currently exist on earth, I’m afraid the issue is not my understanding, but perhaps the problem is you’ve gotten adjusted to a president that never thinks before he speaks,” a raspy-voiced Ocasio-Cortez said on a late-night Instagram Live video circulating on social media.

The leftist congresswoman’s Munich stumbling on Friday, Feb. 13, started the critical firestorm and has conservatives and even some members of her own party questioning her fitness for a potential 2028 Democrat presidential primary campaign.

“Um, you know, I think that this is such a, you know, I think that this is a um — this is, of course, a, um, very long-standing, um, policy of the United States,” she said with pause when asked about America defending Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion to enforce its One China Policy over the island-nation.

Her fumfering continued, “And I think what we are hoping for is that we want to make sure that we never get to that point, and we want to make sure that we are moving in all of our economic, research and our global positions to avoid any such confrontation and for that question to even arise.”

Vice President JD Vance, a potential 2028 presidential campaign opponent in a prospective general election matchup, weighed in multiple times this week to Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks.

“I think it’s a person who doesn’t know what she actually thinks, and I’ve seen this way too much in Washington with politicians: Where they’re given lines and, when you ask them to go outside the lines they were given, they completely fall apart,” Vance told Fox News’ “The Story With Martha MacCallum” in an in-studio interview earlier this week.

“That was embarrassing,” he continued. “If I had given that answer I would say, ‘You know what? Maybe you ought to go read a book about China and Taiwan before I go out on the world stage again.’ I hope that Congresswoman Cortez has the same humility. I’m skeptical.”

As to Presidents Trumps monumental State of the Union Address, AOC was among those Democrat who refused to attend. Joining the boycott she said,

“After much deliberation, I have decided that I will not use my presence at a state ceremony to normalize Trump’s lawless conduct & subversion of the Constitution. None of this is normal, and I will not legitimize it.

Consequently, I will not be attending the State of the Union….”

She was joined by roughly half of the Democrats from both Houses of Congress.

The real reason she failed is because she didn’t know what the hell she was talking about. Just like kameltoes Harris. All mouth and no common sense. Like Dunger

Ever notice that Ham-on-dung has to mention my name whatever he posts? And now he links AOC with Harris, how odd.

But once again, he claims I am all fluff and no stuff, but he has not the balls or brains to prove it. He is feckless incarnate. I dare you, you don’t respond, just run away and launch yet another feckless name calling taunt another day. No balls, no glory is Ham-on-dung’s story. Like a spent rubber, totally useless.

Come on man, hit me with your best shot. Can’t even top a guy you say is all mouth and no common sense.

Must be third time I dared you and you got nothing so far.

Did I ever say you should vote for Democrats? I don’t think so. Show us the money or you have shown us your penchant for making things up. I am pretty sure I wouldn’t recommend the impossible. But, by all means, show us.

Plus, while you may think voting for Democrats is stupidity, that’s an opinion, not a fact.

Keep trying, and realize that opinions are rarely wrong, tis the facts that can be correct or in Trumpistan, many fabrications.

FYI — this is the second PBP AOC story so if advertising and brand recognition was her goal, PBP delivered.

Seems almost like the same story, a second time; this time a copy-cat version of the FOX story with the same quotes and many of the same utterances. Weak tea, to show PBP reader’s your FU — FOX Unintelligence, those closets to AI Bill can muster. At least edit it to make it yours. Have a little pride.

Contrary to Hammon-the-stupid’s warped perceptions, I am not an AOC fan, did marvel at Pelosi keeping the squad in their lanes, and now am impressed with AOC’s ability to learn, team, and progress. Presidential, that’s a joke. Senate — maybe. Seems to be the only squad member to grow beyond that ill-fated team, and thanks to folks at PBP for giving her all that air time. Good job Mr. Sullivan, keep up the plagiarizing.

Like Newsom, she went global too soon, was not prepared, got caught in responding to the firing line with some pretty basic, albeit stupid, questions, and is in back-up-mode backpaddling now.

Yet she’s getting noticed, she’s getting air time, and she’s so important that author Sheridan just plagiarized FOX almost verbatim showing how honorable PBP author’s can be. Not even a credit, or tip of the hat.

AOC is a national embarrassment and should not speak for the US ever again. Democrats should change their party to Socialist or better yet, the Communist party who funds them nefariously. If not for Trump we would be the laughing stock of the world.
