U.S. Allies Support the Missile Strike on Syria

Theresa May&rsquo&semi;s government saw the action as &&num;8220&semi;an appropriate response to the barbaric chemical weapons attack launched by the Syrian regime&comma; and is intended to deter further attacks&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"MsoNormal">The Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement that Trump &ldquo&semi;In both word and action sent a strong and clear message&colon; that the use and spread of chemical weapons will not be tolerated&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"MsoNormal">The Israeli President expressed similar sentiments&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"MsoNormal">&&num;8220&semi;In the face of the terrible use of chemical weapons against innocent civilians&comma; the clear and determined steps of the US Administration and Military under the leadership of President Trump&comma; constitute a fitting and appropriate response to such unthinkable brutality&comma;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;said Reuven&nbsp&semi;Rivlin&comma; referring to the recent chemical attack&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"MsoNormal">Even Turkey backed the move calling it an &ldquo&semi;important and meaningful&rdquo&semi; step&comma; but then encourage a more aggressive stance on Assad&period; &nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"MsoNormal">&ldquo&semi;We see the &lpar;airstrikes&rpar; as positive&comma; but we believe that this should be completed&comma;&&num;8221&semi; said Deputy Prime Minister Numan&nbsp&semi;Kurtulmus&period; &&num;8220&semi;The Assad regime&&num;8217&semi;s barbarism must immediately be stopped&period;&&num;8221&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p class&equals;"MsoNormal">Former NATO Commander James Stavridis also applauded Trump&rsquo&semi;s decision&period;
