University of Missouri: ROTC Members Told not to Wear Uniforms on Veterans' Day

<p>Despite having managed to oust the school&rsquo&semi;s president&comma; University of Missouri students are not yet satisfied&period; MU President Timothy W&period; Wolfe announced his resignation Monday after months of protests including a hunger strike and threats from the school&rsquo&semi;s football team to boycott the remainder of the season&period; Upset students are now setting their sites on the military&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>ROTC officials actually warned student members about the dangers of wearing their uniforms on campus &hellip&semi; on Veterans&rsquo&semi; Day&period; Here&&num;8217&semi;s the official email&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>&&num;8220&semi;There have been threats made against Veterans and Soldiers in the COMO area therefore as a force protection measure do not wear your uniforms to class this week&period; You should wear your uniform for LAB only and you should not wear it around campus at all&period;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Starbucks on campus was forced to close down on Veterans&rsquo&semi; Day because student employees&nbsp&semi;were afraid to come to work due to threats&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Campus police &lpar;MUPD&rpar; have offered a sympathetic ear to students&comma; offering to respond whenever they feel hurt or offended&period; In fact&comma; the school sent out an email instructing students to contact police when confronted with &ldquo&semi;incidents of hateful and&sol;or hurtful speech&period;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>The situation at MU is out of control&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;em><em>Since when do students force the military to be afraid or ashamed to wear uniforms on a college campus&quest; <&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;
