
<p>Last week, conservatives secured a major victory over the leftist-run medical system that abuses minors to fulfill the liberal ideological and political agenda. One of the largest pediatric clinics in Los Angeles ended its program offering transgender procedures to youth.</p>



<p><em>Just the News</em> reported (July 24) that Children&#8217;s Hospital Los Angeles has officially ended its Center for Transyouth Health and Development, one that the <em>Associated Press</em> described as “the country’s biggest public provider of gender-affirming care for children and teens.” The story wrote that this victory marks a nationwide shift in favor of protecting children against transgender programs.</p>



<p>Weeks before the news of the center’s closure broke, the <em>Associated Press</em> (AP) reported on the upcoming closure of the center owing to the Trump administration’s cut of federal funds for transgender procedures. The AP story reported that some “trans kids” have been protesting outside the hospital to keep it open for such procedures.</p>



<p><em>The Federalist</em> thanked the Trump administration for issuing the “Common-Sense Executive Order” that bans the chemical and surgical mutilation of children, leading to the closure of LA’s Center for Transyouth Health and Development. The story noted that the recent Supreme Court ruling prohibiting transgender procedures on minors in Tennessee backed up President Trump’s executive order on the issue and defeated the left’s legal efforts to keep exploiting the gender dysphoria – a psychological problem – in minors.</p>



<p>Children&#8217;s Hospital Los Angeles is not the only health facility dropping its transgender program for children. On Friday (July 25), <em>LifeSite News</em> reported that Kaiser Permanente is suspending all gender-reassignment surgeries on patients under the age of 19 at its facilities across the country. <em>The Dallas Express</em> called it Kaiser’s capitulating to Trump.</p>



<p>The Trump administration is showing serious concern and action in protecting children from the leftist medical abuse in the name of transgender care. <em>National Review</em> reported (July 28) that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is taking action against clinics and doctors that continue to provide gender-transition services to minors. A statement from the hospital was shared on X by independent journalists showing that the hospital is doubling down on its commitment to transgender procedures on children.</p>

<p>Earlier this month, the DOJ issued a subpoena to Boston Children’s Hospital, which offered the country’s first pediatric and adolescent transgender clinic. Another facility named among those being probed by the DOJ is the Children’s Hospital Colorado, which denies offering transgender surgical procedures to minors and says it stopped providing non-surgical procedures temporarily after Trump issued the executive order earlier this year, but then resumed those services.</p>
