
<p>Former President Donald Trump is reportedly thinking about launching his own social media platform. The move comes after Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest booted him in the days following the January 6th riot at the Capitol. </p>



<p>Without access to social media, Trump has to communicate with followers and fans by issuing statements through his post-presidency office and his PAC. He has described this communication method as “elegant.”</p>



<p>Speaking to <em>Fox News</em> contributor Lisa Boothe on Monday, Trump confirmed that he’s “doing things having to do with putting our own platform out there that you’ll be hearing about soon.” ;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">According to Jason Miller, a 2020 Trump campaign senior adviser, we can expect to see a Trump-branded social media platform in “about two to three months.”  ;</h4>



<p>Miller predicts the platform will be “hottest ticket in social media” and draw “tens of millions” of followers. <strong>And he&#8217;s probably right. Trump had more than 88 million followers when Twitter banned him.</strong></p>



<p>“There have been a lot of high-powered meetings he’s been having at Mar-a-Lago with some teams of folks who have been coming in,” continues Miller. “And I got to tell you, it’s not just one company that’s approached the president.”</p>



<p><em>Trump has been working from his Palm Beach home, Mar-a-Lago, since leaving office in January.</em></p>



<p><strong>Author’s Note:</strong> A Trump-branded conservative platform would become an instant hit. It is likely to put out of business fledging conservative platforms like Parler, MeWe, and Gab. </p>
