Trump Calls for Tougher Travel Ban Following London Attack

<p>At least 22 people were rushed to the hospital Friday morning after a homemade bomb exploded on a subway during rush hour in London&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As reported by <em>Fox News<&sol;em>&comma; ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Police are still searching for the person or persons behind the attack&comma; and have declared a &ldquo&semi;critical&rdquo&semi; terrorism threat for the country&period; &ldquo&semi;Critical&rdquo&semi; is the highest possible threat level and typically implies that other attacks are expected to occur&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In the meantime&comma; hundreds of authorities s are carrying out forensic work&comma; viewing surveillance camera footage&comma; and speaking to witnesses in order to discover who might be responsible&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>At least 29 people were injured by the blast and the confusion that followed&period; &ldquo&semi;I heard a large bang from the doors on the other side of the tube train and this fireball came towards my head and singed off all my hair &ndash&semi; I have got burn marks at the top of my head&comma;&rdquo&semi; says Peter Crowley&comma; a passenger&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The stampede created by the bomb is believed to have caused more damage than the bomb itself&period; &ldquo&semi;I saw crying women&comma; there was lots of shouting and screaming&comma; there was a bit of a crush on the stairs going down to the streets&comma;&rdquo&semi; explains Richard Aylmer-Hall&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Emma Stevie&comma; another passenger&comma; says she put herself in the &ldquo&semi;fetal position&rdquo&semi; to avoid the stampede&period; &ldquo&semi;I saw a poor little boy with a smashed-in head and other injuries&period; It was horrible&period;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>London Mayor Sadiq Khan condemned the attack&comma; promising that London &ldquo&semi;will never be intimidated or defeated by terrorism&period;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>President Donald Trump is using the attack as evidence that we need a tougher travel ban&period; &ldquo&semi;The travel ban into the United States should be far larger&comma; tougher&comma; and more specific &ndash&semi; but stupidly&comma; that would not be politically correct&excl;&rdquo&semi; he tweeted Friday morning&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Trump also suggested we make an effort to restrict terrorists&&num;8217&semi; use of the Internet as a &ldquo&semi;recruitment tool&rdquo&semi; and added that the US &ldquo&semi;must be proactive and nasty&rdquo&semi; when dealing with ISIS&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Trump&rsquo&semi;s tweets follow the Supreme Court&rsquo&semi;s decision to allow his controversial travel ban to remain in effect for the time being&period; The Supreme Court is scheduled to hold its final hearing on the matter on October 10th&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Editor&&num;8217&semi;s note&colon;<&sol;strong> Perhaps Trump is learning from Rom Emmanuel&&num;8217&semi;s example&comma; &&num;8220&semi;never let a good crisis go to waste&period;&&num;8221&semi; But so far Trump is doing exceedingly well in keeping his campaign promises&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
